Some people are saying that we'll get 73% reservation. Can anybody explain me how (Don't give argument that we can apply in general also and in OBC also).. You cant tick so many boxes on application forms..

I strongly and firmly believe that Jats don't need reservation in Haryana. Rohtak/Sirsa ke property dealer innn IAS/IPS naa goj main gale hande hain..

drat... typed diligently for one hour.. added 7-8 links to provide facts and figures as per Yudhvir's demand and while attaching a pdf file of research paper on 'reservation'.. mozzila crashed!! :(.

Anyway this thread is going round in circles. m out of discussion anyway!!
 
I think the reservation was first introduced to correct the wrongs that were done against some Casts. What was the initial purpose of reservation in India? Was it discrimination or economical status?(It was for those who supports reservation)

As far as i think Jats are fighting for economical status. Please elaborate me if i stated something false.

Lets take reservation together as JAT community. And those who feel it should not be applied,they can always make it in general. Will this result in anything?

Reservation on economical status can be an illusive idea as a very few people can be traced out in our country. is it only 3% tax payers in our country? I don't know.

Those who think reservation will increase castism in country. Then why are we so obssesed to marry a Jat girl? Why not marry in other cast?

A question to those who feels that JAts will become lke KAMEENS(chamars). Does not it make you more discriminatory? Or should we feel pround in being discriminatory? I am doubtful.

Yeh raha 1st benefit. OBC can apply in General as well but It can NOT happen otherwise. Mere hisab se Jat will get multiple option to crack....

Your above phrase also apply to Private Jobs. The quota has already been implemented during the Meera Kumar tenure.

Every company has to implement it I know for sure about Infosys and HCL.

you can change your quotes to

here is the order as per population but surely Haryana is no 1 in percentage of Jats/population.

1. Rajasthan
2. Uttar Pradesh
3. Haryana/Punjab

Reservation?

Dear Friends,

I think majority of people are opposing the reservation just because they want to OPPOSE. Even without getting the proper knowledge of it. Some are opposed because because they don't want to be equivalent of Chamars/Dhedd (although they believe in equal rights).

Firstly, if Jats gets the reservation not all the Jats will be in OBC as the OBC status will be based on financial capacity. Most of the Jatlander will not be part of OBC even if JATS get the reservation.

Secondly, I believe all the people support the reservation on the basis of financial status. OBC is just designed for that, person having annual income of more than Rs 250000/- will not be able to take the benefits.

Thirdly, majority of Jats are Zamindar (without Zamin) they need this reservation strongly and once they get the benefit out of it they will automatically comes of it. Since they are poor landowners they need options to crack for the jobs, education (specially after reservation implementation on renowned institutes)

Fourthly, For those who does NOT want to be equivalent of dheed. if Chamars comes in General category would you start eating with them or will be inviting them for Mantra recitation in marriage?
 
Jats demand reservation in All India Services

New Delhi, Jan 28 : A Jat Mahasabha delegation today demanded that the community be given reservation in All India Services.

The delegation from Uttar Pradesh led by Major General K S Solanki met Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Mukul Wasnik here and submitted a memoradum in this regard, Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh said in a release.

Mr Wasnik has agreed to look into the demand and refer the matter to the National Commission for Backward Classes for its consideration for inclusion of Jats in the central list of OBCs, he said.

Jats have reservation in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Rajasthan Jats, excluding Bharatpur and Dholpur districts, are already included in the Central list of OBCs, the delegation pointed.

This movement is just picking up steam.

Mukul Wasnik, after the Feb 8 rally, met the leaders.

He would give no time lines. It appeared to be a delay, divide and rule strategy.

He and the govt has been given 30 days, or agitation will continue

At the next rally, expect vastly greater numbers

Dharti ne te bechki khagey at least in delhi & around delhi (might b due to govt acquisition or so) fer dharti kit te bachegi.

Par uskey upar bhi kuch likha tha uska jawab kya hai ??????????

Infosys & HCL bhai viswaas nahi hota eb tu keh se to bera paadta hu, er creamy layer kaisey tooti hai sabko pata hai.

I m not opposing or favouring OBC for jats but what i want to know is that, Is this is the only diff. of 3-4 marks between OBC & General category cutoff, to dilli gherney ki kya jarurat hai 2 bhinney kitaab khol lyo paper k sab kuch paat jaga.

When a Jaat girl can do it then what happen to Jaat boys.

Let us be clear.

No one likes to be associated with reservation or to be an OBC etc.

Jats may expect a bit of leg pulling etc in their workplaces etc.

Frankly it should not bother them at all, for in response all they have to do is point to the jat achievements- safeguarding this nation from foreign invasions over the last 2000 years or more. There is no need to run and hide in a corner.

The Jats have paid in blood. Anytime any other community wishes to take over that role, they are welcome to do so.It is doubtful that any will come forward.


The Jats who are on this website, by and large, are the ones who , thanks to their parents, family etc have obtained the expensive education they needed to be able to participate on a site like this, which is available only to well off , English speaking Jats.

Those are not the 'cool , hip' people whom reservationis are directed to.

It is for the kids in the villages and those who live in poverty in city slums, who do not have a shot at good education, or a job that can feed them and their family.


They are there for education has been systematically been denied to them by past governments.

Those people need help.


There is some payback that is required, for the pas t and present sacrifices of the Jats.


Jatlanders,. who who to see their community uplifted, need to support the reservation movement, or in the alternative agree to contribute say 10% or more of their income to an education fund for Jats, and get these kids out of the villages where they have no future.


Those who object to reservation should please come up with a better solution.


All that we are lookng for is a solution.


Please take the matter seriously

Let us not be caught into the trap stereotyping others. It is counterproductive.

The basic result was the English media gave the matter ZERO coverage.

The U tube video post # 391, shows briefly a view of how many people were there. Even to the untrained eye, the Ramlila grounds look pretty full. The capacity os far more over 150,000

Media have claimed that less than 15,000 attended, another claimed 8,000.

It should be noted that at the rally, and in the march, all media TV crews were there- NDTV, Aaj Tak, Times of India, Hindustan Times, etc etc.

If they did not report it was because they were told not to by the Delhi administration.

At the next gathering, more videos should be taken and uploaded. There is more than one way to skin a cat.


Remember also why this is being done- to give the Jat kids who not as well off as jatland members. a decent shot at a decent fuuire.

It will be an uphill battle- do not expect quick results.

That's may be beacuse of Delhi administration..But its a good suggestion that spread the message of each and every rally by some resonable means if possible...Like may be using twitter, or uploading more and more videos..
