please suggest from where can i get good quality multani mitti and also please advise how to use it.

Urmila ji......you can get Multani Mitti from nearby local market as it can be easily found in general stores(kirane ki dukan). Yes you may not get it if you are living in a posh area............. Good quality here means-- it should not contain stone( stone would lead to hairfall) and should be soft...........also if you have time in morning then invest some time in doing Yoga....

thanks, i really appreciate your genuine concern for my reputation. do you think my posts are indecent in any way?

Urmila Ji,

I am very sure U are old enough to have tried almost half of the suggestions given by the Jatlanders . Like oiling your hair , washing them regularly ,keeping them tied n Deep conditioning, drinking plenty of water to keep urself hydrated and Good diet. Else u would have gone Bald by now as there is so much pollution these days. Moreover the parlour workers U visit every month would give u better advises then people here. .Take advise from elderly ladies in ur home or visit a hair specialist .
If u want my suggestions then :-
1.Condition ur hair by applying henna n mix amla , 1 egg white.
2.Apply egg white on ur hair n leave it for half an hour n wash it later on..
3.If u r having dandruff, that also cud be a cause of hair fall den apply glysreine gently on ur hair root but do no rub n leave it for over nite n wash next day.
4.Avoid chemical treatments for your hair like coloring or rebonding.
5.Always condition your hair after shampoo
6.Wash with beer for hair shine.
7.To give your hair bounce, mix gram flour ( besan) with Starch from cooked rice and apply to hair .

Glycerin ? - have you personally used it? and was it effective ?

thanks for your input! kindly allow me to ask few questions :

1. what has my age got to do with hair care ?
2. have you seen any woman going bald due to reasons you cited?
3. what made you think i visit beauty parlours every month coz i don't!
5. is there anything wrong in seeking advise from people irrespective of their gender ?
6. don't you think hair specialists can be heavy on the purse of some people ?

I don't agree with Ritu ji. If menfolk are "suwadu", womenfolk are also not far behind. Even if we all are "suwadu" what is wrong in it. This is what life is all about - to derive maximum suwad out of it. Cheer up guys. Avoid this bickering and have fun. Otherwise life will become monotonous. There are serious threads also for serious people.

completely agree - they maybe more in some cases!

please suggest from where can i get good quality multani mitti and also please advise how to use it.

Most of the Kiryana merchants (especially in small towns) sell Multani Mitti. You have to soak its small pieces in water for about a day and can use the thick paste next day. Keep it for about 3-4 minutes and wash it away. We used to apply its paste on our wooden writing board (Takhti) also in primary school, which is perhaps no more in vogue nowadays.

Beautiful advice.

Live and Let Live.
Please see it would be better not to drag gender issue in the discussion on 'Hair.'

RajPal ji, gender is an issue in our society especially when it comes to discussion of certain topics. For conservative people of the society, women must seek advise from other women only. Older the woman whose advise is being sought, better is the thinking of the seeker . I think you will agree on this.
