The first reactions to Kasab‘s death have come in from Pakistan, with press sources saying that they respect India’s judicial process.

CNN IBN quoted a Pakistani press source as saying, “We respect judicial process in India. We have everything is done under proper scrutiny. Our understanding says President has jumped the queue in rejecting the mercy petition of Ajmal Kasab and till last minute it was under wraps. We don’t deny any repercussion on Sarabjits pending mercy petition on this.”

I am not a law expert like you but to say the least Indian law takes its due course which sadly takes its own time(though in this case it was quite fast)...

"Ajmal Kasab was hanged at 7:30am. It took the Maharashtra government less than two weeks to hang Kasab after President Pranab Mukherjee rejected his mercy petition on November 5. Two days later, Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde signed on the file. It was sent to the Maharashtra government on November 8 and November 21, today, was fixed as the date of execution."

News is good but anybody observed the timing of the execution??? Just before the winter session!!!! Kasab ke liye to itna proactive ho ke kaam kiya sarkar ne but Afjal Guru ki Mercy petition aaj tak pending hai. Usko kya aarti utarne ke liye rukha hua hai??? Or beant Singh ke killer ka bhi case itne saalo se pending hai, uski mercy petition aaj tak pending hai!!! ye congressiyo ki ghatiya politics or vo bhi national security ko le kar... atleast mugjhe to khush nahi kar sakti...

Indian judicial system has set a very brave example by giving equal opportunity to fight with lawyers to a foreign national caught on its soil. Deserves an applause.

Waise to Police Kasab ko ussi time maar sakti thi jaab wo Mumbai Attacks mei pakda gaya tha.. usse maara isliye nahi gaya tha kyonki poochtach jaroori thi,, aur ek saboot ke taur par Pak pe dabav banaya jaaye..Indian Govt ne Pak se kaafi contact kiya aur prove bhi kiya ki ye Pak se aaya hai..is poore kaam mei time lagta hai!!!
