1) You cant support your logic with facts/statistics or go wrong with them, like Sushma Swaraj

I have some close friends who have visited gujrat and some who had stayed there, all hail the progress of the state,...!!!
and you know the growth rate of USA is less than the growth rate of INDIA, so does that mean India is ahead of USA.
When a state is already at the top the growth rate is bound to stay low or even flat or even negative as in case of JAPAN.
Even the growth rate of some African countries is much better than India , so u feel they are better developed place than India..!!!

Pannu ji you made a valid point about comparing growth rates. But about Gujarat, I suggest you search for Planning Commission poverty report to compare poverty number for states. The Tendulkar committee findings compare poverty figures for all states. The PDF version is easily available via a quick Google search. And maybe then, you will know who to believe more, your relatives or data.
You will find that many states are ahead of Gujarat in poverty figures. Punjab, Haryana, TN are just a few examples. As they say, dikhave pe mat jao.

Incorrect. I dont think we are talking about the same report. The report I am talking about, Tendulkar Committee report under the Planning Commission, has Delhi numbers at 14% and Guj at 23% for 09-10. What report did you check?
In the year 2003, the value of property reported to have been stolen in Gujarat was around INR 32419 Lakh. While the recovery percentage of such cases stands at a lowly 9.5 per cent, states like Haryana have managed to put up a recovery rate of 68.3 per cent on such cases. Another interesting criminal trend is Gujarat is that of kidnapping and it has been flourishing under the Modi government. in the year 2003, Gujarat registered around 1044 cases of kidnapping. When compared with other states, Gujarat is head and shoulders above states like Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. What is even more peculiar about this statistic is that about 90 per cent of the kidnapping victims in Gujarat are bellow the age of 30 and almost 80 per cent of these are women. A staggeringly high number that is almost double of the national average. And Mr. Modi still insists to call Gujarat one of the safest states in India with the lowest crime rate. Denial seems to be the best form of success for the current Chief Minister of Gujarat. When he is unwilling to accept the reality of Gujarat how can one expect him to work towards making things right?

According to NCRB (National Crime Record Bureau) data, Rajkot is one of the top 5 cities in India when it comes to the number of people committing suicides. Gujarat has seen a 30 per cent increase in the number of poor families in its villages during the ten years of Modi’s rule. Data collected in the April of 2000 suggests that there were 23.29 lakh families which were categorized as Below Poverty Line (BPL). The number increased to a massive 30.49 lakhs in just 12 years when the data was collected in the June of 2012. This data is a part of the dynamic list is updated by rural commissioner’s office on a constant basis. This list further reveals that around 39.06 per cent of the families in Gujarat villages are stricken by poverty. Majority of the poverty is concentrated in tribal districts. The following table gives a glimpse of the distribution of poverty in some of the districts of Gujarat.
Even after this drastic rise, the Modi government has shown any interest in implementing schemes or programmers that will alleviate the financial burden on the poor. This has further clarified that Modi’s interests lie only in the rich class and making sure that their coffers are filled. With such a negligent attitude it is necessity now that we vote for change a for a better governance in Gujarat.
