For me India is India, culprits are every where. West has this problem, so does east so we cant single out one set of public for this.

On the contrary woman in bharat are more open to atrocities than India.
 
Ironically they come from same places from where most of JatLanders belong to, though I was not expecting a politically inclined reply but since you have initiated it I am waiting for BJP to condemn Bhagwat's statement, if at all they have courage to do so.

While a lot of it shows mirror to society what stands out is DPs attitude. Read the last 2 lines:

'Awindra rued that three PCR vans arrived at the scene after about 45 minutes, but wasted time in deciding under which police station’s jurisdiction the case fell.'

It is SCs ruling that police should first help the victims and then care about paper work but looks like they were too worried about throwing away the case from each other's shoulder

Yes, RSS is famous for these type of statements. BJP's failure is RSS only. bJP came in power and was successful due to Atal bihari Vajpayee only.

i have not mentioned the name, but i know , now politically inclined members will go to search about this minister ( if they dont know) and there raection will be according to party and that person , instead of the statement given by him or her. this is indian politics

Irrespective of party or culture and before I google to see who said it I partially,if not fully agree to the statement but I guess minister said a bit more, he said the victim did wrong by going out in a bus and she paid price for it which is entirely wrong.

I saw a cartoon earlier which had a statement saying "Expecting men to change their thinking when I wear short clothes is expecting thieves not to steal when I keep my jewellery out in open"

You certainly can not teach or control others but surely can take caution yourselves. Some people on Jatland wanted men to change their thinking and allow girls to wear whatever they want, the same set of folks then went on to criticize Malaika and Karina in other thread.

Instead of changing our belief as per facts, we change facts as per our belief.

1) Society has failed the 17.5 yrs old innocent kid. He has bee on the streets for the last 2yrs what has society done for him? So, it is not his fault that he raped the girl twice, attacked the male companion of girl and took out the girl intestines (as per the leaked reports)!!

2) Md Afroz was doing is duty which was to lure passengers into the bus.

3) Rape, he did, under the mob-mentality (not his fault).

4) This child was away from family and so needed protection (from whom, I don't know).

5) when Rajdeep Sardesia asked her (Nina Nayak), how this kid (Md Afroz) is different from other alleged rapists who are 19-20 yrs old. Her defense is at we have to have some cut-off. At 17-17.5 he is immature. Moreover he did not has the family life which we non-rapists we have!

6) He was with Ram Singh for the last 1- 1.5 yrs, he was groomed by Ram Singh. Ergo Ram Singh is to blamed, not him.

7) Statistics show (apparently conclusively) that reformation is inversely proportional to severity of punishment. If courts give him severe punishment, he won't reform.

Can you find a fault with their line of reasoning?

C A Sundaram spoke eloquently: Age is 'relative'. You can not exonerate one guy of age 17 yrs 364 days and punish another who is just 1 day older for the same crime. He further questioned (and predicted that this will also be raised in courts) the yard stick for being juvenile. Why 18 yrs why not 16?
Sundaram further said that we should not look just at the age and/or background of accused; we should determine (and this happens in many countries!!) is IF the accused was aware of the fact that he was committing a heinous crime.

I think Sundaram is absolutely spot-on.

I wonder, if this 'juvenile' is punished like others accused in this case, will there be protests by his muslim brethren (and secularists) claiming that innocent Md Afroz is being treated unfairly?? :(

सूत्रों की मानें तो दिल्ली गैंगरेप मामले में छठे आरोपी को भले ही नाबालिग बताया जा रहा हो, लेकिन उस मासूम लड़की की इज्जत तार-तार करने का मनहूस ख्याल सबसे पहले इसी लड़के के दिमाग में आया था। अब वह खुद को नाबालिग बताने और इसे सच साबित करने में लगा है ताकि इसका फायदा सिर्फ तीन वर्ष की सजा पाकर हो। कानून के मुताबिक किसी नाबालिग को इससे अधिक की सजा नहीं दी जा सकती है। लेकिन इसका अपराध इतना जघन्य है कि जिसके बाद इसको कहीं से भी नाबालिग नहीं कहा जा सकता है। इस मामले में अब पुलिस नाबालिग को भी कड़ी सजा दिलवाने और अन्य आरोपियों के साथ ही उसकी भी सुनवाई करवाने के लिए दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट का दरवाजा खटखटाने की कोशिश कर रही है।
दिल्ली गैंगरेप का सूत्रधार यह नाबालिग इंसान किस कदर हैवान हो सकता है इसका अंदाजा इस बात से लगाया जा सकता है कि इसने ही मेडिकल छात्रा और उसके पुरुष मित्र अपनी बस में यह कहते हुए चढ़ाया था कि बस द्वारका जा रही है और वह उसे वहां छोड़ देंगे। इसके बाद अपने को नाबालिग बताने वाले ने उसके साथ दो बार रेप किया। बाद में युवती से रेप करने और उसको मरणासन्न स्थिति में पहुंचाने के बाद उन दोनों को फेंक देने की सलाह भी इसी नाबालिग ने ही दी थी। इस बात की तसदीक खुद युवती के पुरुष मित्र ने अपने इकबालिया बयान में भी की है।
पुलिस की जांच में यह बात पहले ही सामने आ चुकी है कि इस नाबालिग ने मेडिकल की छात्रा के साथ दो बार रेप किया था। एक बार तब जब वह होश में थी और सभी आरोपियों की गिरफ्त में थी। इसके बाद एक बार तब उसने रेप किया जब युवती बुरी तरह से पिटाई के बाद बेहोश हो गई थी। यह आरोपी उस वक्त भी पीछे नहीं हटा जब युवती के शरीर को रॉड से खोखला कर दिया गया। उसकी इस दरिंदगी की जानकारी खुद युवती के पुरुष मित्र ने पुलिस को दी है।
नाबालिग कहलाने वाले इसी दरिंदे ने युवती और उसके पुरुष मित्र को चलती बस से नग्न अवस्था में बाहर फेंकने की सलाह भी दी थी। अस्पताल में गंभीर हालत में भर्ती युवती के पुरुष मित्र ने उसकी हैवानियत की जानकारी देते हुए कहा था कि लड़की के साथ नंगा नाच करने के बाद इस लड़के ने ही कहा था कि लड़की मर गई है बाहर फेंक दो। इस लड़के की दरिंदगी को नाबालिग कहकर कम नहीं किया जा सकता है। ऐसी ही आवाज पूरे भारत में उठ रही है। भारत में अलग अलग जगहों पर हो रहे प्रदर्शनों के जरिए सभी लोग यह मांग कर रहे हैं कि इस छठे नाबालिग आरोपी पर भी हत्या का मुकदमा चले और सभी के साथ इसको भी फांसी की सजा दी जाए। लोगों का कहना है कि जुवेनाइल कोर्ट से मिलने वाली महज तीन साल की सजा इस मामले में एक भद्दा मजाक होगा। तीन साल के बाद हमारे समाज के बीच इस घटना से जुड़ा एक दरिंदा खुली हवा में सांस लेने के लिए बाहर आ जाएगा और मुमकिन है कि दोबारा इस तरह की घटना को अंजाम देने के लिए वह खुद को तैयार कर लेगा।
गैंगरेप की भेंट चढ़ी युवती को इंसाफ दिलाने में जुटे लोगों का कहना है कि अब सरकार के पास मौका है कि वह एक नजीर पेश करे जिससे दोबारा इस तरह का वाक्या पेश ही न आ सके। गौरतलब है कि इस मामले में पुलिस ने गुरुवार को साकेत जिला कोर्ट में चार्जशीट पेश की है। लेकिन इसमें इस छठे आरोपी को नाबालिग मानते हुए शामिल नहीं किया गया है। लिहाजा इसका मामला जुवेनाइल कोर्ट में चलाया जाएगा। इस मामले में अभी पुलिस को नाबालिग के बॉन टेस्ट रिपोर्ट का भी इंतजार है।

His speech implies Bhart of values, which respected women. He clearly said that Gang Rape and such Random assaults on women hardly take place in Rural India compare to Urban. I fully endorse Bhagwat's statement!

So what wrong you find in speech? BJP would be idiot if it condemn it or ask RSS chief to do the same.
