Does that make you feel "Soorma"? Dear Vijay, I can understand that you have a different outlook and that's why you took a stance that is in total contrast to the other respondents to Dhiren's mail, but I wonder why did you feel the need to use expletives to express whatever you wanted to...

Excellent post! Dear Deepak, This is a really good compilation of interview questions and if one is prepared with answers to these questions, there is no stopping the person in the interviews. Great post indeed! Manu

Visit MFC's website Hi Aditya, There is no syllabus as such for the entrance examination. Just like any other MBA program, the admission process to MFC also consists of a three pronged evaluation approach - a written exam conducted at national level, followed by group discussions and personal...

Do you want to do it in India? Hi Aditya, If you are interested in pursuing your M.S. from India, the Department of Financial Studies at South Campus of Delhi University offers an excellent course by the name of Master of Finance and Control (www.mfc.edu). The course content for MFC has been...

Jat girls: from my eyes.. What a wonderful simile, Rajendraji!! To me a Jat girl represents someone who effortlessly transitions between the household chores like cooking bajre ki roti on chulha, participating in laamni, doing saani paani for the cattles in the house or giving her fellow...

Part II The second thought that comes to my mind is that of the commentators who seem to know much more than the players on the crease. They seem to find hajaar faults with the techniques of the players sitting from a distance and sound as if they are "khalifa"s who could do nothing wrong if...

Part I Dear Ram Sehrawat ji, Thanks for pointing out the resemblance in our names; I was afraid that it might go unnoticed. :) And I thank heavens that our PM still has not started responding to every blog that mentions his name or that pass a judgment on the way he is functioning, coz...

Priti, Thanks a ton for the info and for your wishes. I appreciate it. I shall surely share with you whatever information I come across on SRI from my discussions with people in the FIG group. Hope you or your dears were not harmed in any way in the London blasts. Take care... Manu

Dr. Manmohan Singh: an orderly??!! Looks like there is a hidden camera or something in the house/office of Indian Prime Minister that is broadcasting the proceedings of the PM office/house live across the whole world. That seems to be the only plausible explanation for the expert comments from...

It was horrifying to know about the ghastly blasts in the city of London earlier today. I hope that none of our Jat brethren was affected during this dastardly act of violence. One can only imagine the plight of those who were caught in these blasts and that of their near and dears. Too bad...

Scared for sure but from whom? Having a "chela" in a part of world which is gaining prominence economically and militarily (read, in terms of nuclear capability), is important for the country that aspire to continue remaining at the forefront of what is now commonly accepted as a unipolar...

Thanks for the brief Hi Priti, Thanks for the brief on SRI. I also googled SRIs and found a report on SRIs by Eurosif (European Sustainable and Responsible Investment Forum). It was interesting to note from this report that this concept started way back in early 20s, when the Methodist church...

Interesting topic for research Hi Priti, The topic of your research is definitely an interesting one and I would love to know more about it. Normally "investments" are inseparably associated with "returns" (at least the expeected ones) and I am wondering as to what kind of monetary returns...

Hughes is doing good but definitely Honeywell is a better option. Meanwhile if you are interested in companies like Wipro, Infosys, you may try that option as well. I know Wipro is hiring at a big scale at all locations. Meetu w/o Manmohan Singh (A member of this site)

Hi all, I got this enquiry from a friend who is working with this company. They are looking for an Engineer, preferably with an MBA degree in marketing and around 5-6 years experience in the telecommunications industry. It would be pertinent to point here that this company acquired Hughes...
