60% of Indian economy or population is agriculture based and I would assume that the list will be different if poll is undertaken among farmers/villagers across the country.

Only a corruption free govt (non UPA for sure) can achieve these

This is an illogical article. I would support free auction of spectrum / coal provided it is done in a transparent manner and the benefits are passed to consumers. Most of the spectrum went to shell companies which sold it further to others in thousands of crores. Similar thing happened with...

Disgusting soch. Not even worth to waste time in giving counter arguments.

Please go through this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gotra It will make things more clear. The Jat gotras are not same as Hindu gotras as Jats can not trace their lineage back to Hindu rishis. The jats follow more of a clan system than the gotras system. Jats migrated into India from Central...

Gandhi family is like superglue for Congress. Without them Congress won't survive at all. So it wont impact Rahul in any way. He is a born yuvraj and will remain so. If he want he can become PM even tomorrow, MMS will happily oblige and make a way for him. Unlike other parties Congress leaders...

I got my hand on this book yesterday and enjoyed reading it so much that I finished it in one day itself (around 1:30 am). The book is written in very simple English and I felt as if everything is happening in front of me. The description of the events in the book is vivid, inspiring, chilling...

I think the news media presented it wrong and distorted the news badly. He actually cleared the SAT 2011 test conducted for admissions in USA colleges. Instead of saying SAT, newspaper wrote CET. May be thought that way it will be more clear to desi readers, and thus invented WCET. He may have...

I believe this is the only reason. Women in general (irrespective of jat / non jat) are not interested in such topics. You will seldom find two woman discussing these topics whereas men when together could easily end up discussing these. Even if you look at politics, there are very less woman...

What I have read is that Guj Governor did not follow the due process of selecting the lokayukt, and that's why the case is also in court now. What BJP is alleging is that on several occassions Modi govt approached gov for appointment on lokayukt but they were ignored. Finally Gov made an appt...

He gave a new definition to quality. He is an inspiration to lots of CEOs around the world and equally to budding enterpreuners. He will be missed surely.

I am sure this is what the mentality was in western world few decades back. But all this has changed a lot. Time changes everything. India and other asian countries are adopting western culture very fast. Whether it is dress-up, accent, movies, music, western icons.... The TRPs shot up with...

Hi Vivek, I have few questions regarding education in Finance field in US. Can you provide your email id on which I can send my queries to you. Thanks..

Riyaa, you should really first learn to write. A student of class 5th could have written better than yours. Read what you have written again and you will realize. Secondly, when you equate a 74 yr selfless person, could I infer that you do the same to your parents and grandparents and other...

I logged in back may be after a year and the first post I read was this. Feeling regret on my decision to came back to the site. Only a person who is enjoying the fruits of corruption and unaccounted power can write such post. Or a BHAND can write such a post. It deserves to be removed, that's...
