I too have voted for
Choorma
And yes, it should be just as Anil Sangwan says... pichkariyan aala...with lots of ghee.
Kheer is another favorite. But can't eat more than a katori these days. This is my husband's favorite.
Halwa... Jaton mein mehman ki sewa bina halwe to maani hi nahi jaati...aur chahe kitni mithai khila do, halwa nahi banaya to koi sewa nahi ki.
Also whenever there is Havan performed, Halwa is
the prasad.
And to this day, whenever my daughter catches cold during winters, I give her garma-garam halwa. No need of any medicine. She too loves Halwa more than Kheer. She also loves eating
Malai+Boora.
Ghewar(khoye waala) and
Gajar ka Halwa is seasonal... love both...but
only from Sonipat. Aur kahin ka badhiya nahi lagta.
Jalebi... no Jaleba...Gohane ka...love that too. Just 4 pieces in a Kilo !!!
Another fav is...
shaadi ke laddoo...
Not motichoor. Yes, the laddoos that are made in bulk...baandhne ke liye.... unka swaad hi alag hota hai.
Just like most Jats/Jatnis, I too have a sweet tooth.
I managed to eat 70 gulab-jamuns in a competition in 2005(though the size of the gulab-jamuns wasn't too big...it was almost half of what you get at Haldirams, still... 70 was too much....sirr ghoom gaya thha... towards the end). But can't call it a favorite.
Though love eating all these but these days have to avoid most. Danger of weight-gain :-(
