The votebank equations have begun: Congress gives a clean chit to Virbhadra Singh and the BJP accepts Yedurappa back into the party. Both of these 'stalwarts' had grave corruption charges against them and had a far less than clean reputation.

Please help me count a few Jat leaders in BJP in central politics, also ministers when they formed govt in 1999-2004. Also what is BJPs stand on current Jat issue, both in Haryana and in Center?

I can name at least 3 as of now from Haryana:
1. Capt Abhimanyu -- has been given a big role - national spokesperson of the party and given opportunity to present it in all debates on national TV. He gets this despite winning any election so far.
2. OP Dhankhar -- All India president of BJP Kissan Morcha wing. Not a MP or MLA.
3. Sh Ramchander Bainda - Read about him and his positions in BJP here : http://www.jatland.com/home/Ram_Chander_Bainda
BJP has given such big roles to them. But if they can not win elections OR can not show the strength among masses, it is not central leadership to do something.

Reservation is the issue am referring to.
And if i keep Capt Abhimanyu aside I have not heard much of any of the other leaders contributions. In all fairness suggest me which party you think is better for jats, Congress or BJP?

Read about their contributions on net and Jatland wiki. You will get to know. And BJP is always better than COngress for any common man - including Jats!!! This is my opinion. Aur bol....

None of the two would satisfy all the people belonging to the community.
Jats are a versatile and well politicised community and by and large they would be found in all political parties playing their smaller or bigger roles.
As long as we are having a discussion, I beg to differ. Simple reason is BJP's policies which are polarist in nature. They tend to make rich richer and poor poorer, for example look at the current abolition of income tax and taxing bank transactions- a stupid idea

You carry on with your discussion. For me, if income tax for everyone except "Super Rich" is removed, most of the citizens like me will be very happy.

Spreading Half Truths again !! Its not BJP idea not have they endorsed it. Moreover In India the gap between rich and poor is getting bigger and bigger and who is responsible?
Reservation is not the only issue for jats of Haryana. Its not Anil's fault if you haven't heard of other leaders. Bainda is a well known leader of BJP and has been elected MP from Faridabad when they were with INLO. But BJP is almost non existent in Haryana and they don't have any agenda at state level. When people talk about Modi they are talking about national level politics.
