A New Jat Revolution

Dear All, the seeds of the Brave, Defiant, Confidant, Just, Resilient, Heroic, Gallant Jat blood,


I am in the process of setting up a Jat Youth Organisation in India .... primarily dealing with upholding Jat unity .. and especially bringing the Jaat, Jatt and Jatt-Sikh brothers together into a united front ......

The main agendas as I think of now are going to be:

• Jat Unity : above religious lines

• Promoting historical friendly relation and co-existence among Jats and other castes and/or tribes who have co-existed with Jats in our villages and are an integral part of the social-structure of our villages.

• Getting a much more significant youth participation in Jat Mahasabha and clan panchayats, so that our traditional systems are not shunned by our youth.

• A joint Jat voice against age old prejudice prevalent against Jats.

• A Jat youth ground-worker organisation to champion social causes like female infanticide, standard of education in rural areas, promotion of education, female rights, farmer rights, influx of other people in traditional Jat lands causing disturbing demographic changes.

• A youth lobbying organisation to push for community causes and issues.

• Fight for and guard against any injustice against Jats anywhere.

• Promoting the true, hidden, undocumented Jat history among Jats and other communities to arouse pride and to defeat the biased historians.

• Preserving Jat culture and heritage

• Fight for equality and justice



I would like the community elders and the Jat youth to add to or suggest improvements in the above stated agenda.

I would also like you to propose a name for such an organisation, keeping in mind that it is a youth movement.

Nitin Dahiya started a revolution through Jatland and now its time we took the next step.

Jats as you know are very proud people and are very particular about their identity ,and that includes religious identity as well so in order to achieve your desired objective you have to have respect for their religion whether hindu muslim or sikh.These days you will find so many people playing divisive role in jat community via this religion as they know that if jats are united than there is no other alternative.You can see them active here also if this thread gain momentum.

However PLease keep in mind that UNITY is not a JAT THING.

ps..There is Jat and Jats speaking punjabi may be called jatts but there is no jaat group as such.

Well someone has to strart and You guys are contributing intellectually a lot to the Jat awakening on this platform ....... but somethng needs to be done at the ground level as well ... somethng needs to be done to enlighten the peasant Jat about his history .. something has to be doen to put the plans we come up here in action .......

I am not based in India and I know it will not be possible for me to move to India in near future due to work and other interests ....... but i am willing and determined to go back home regularly and commit my self practically to something I really believe in ........

I am not aiming to promote superiority ......just an awakening and to fight the prejudice .....

And at core inside him/herself every Jat is very proud of his/her Jat heritage and blood be that Punjabi Jatts or Jats ....... and as long as that pride exists I dont think unity is a far-fetched dream ......... it possible .......

if it is in the interest of others to keep us divided .. it is in our interest to be united .......

Now whose interest should we serve our own or of the ones who are determined to exploit and undermine us as they have done for ages

I really appreciate your views to do something at ground reality since past every effort had been done to divide jats and that work also as jats are blocking ways of progress of their own community by indulging in fight within themselves even today jat is the biggest enemy of jats and other communities take advantage of this in superseeding jats so to make jat progress high we have to brought a mass awakening among them so that they remain united and this should be done by all of us youths since you are trying to form a organisation in india i along with lot of my other jats fellow promise u to do everything which we can we will help you a lot in reaching ordinary jat villagers of india and bruoght them on a common platform we only needed a start by you peoples
 
I agree with your idea and this is a great one and let us start this revolution today from Jatland and take it further as there are many youth members here and many others who just read while offline.
 
I founded All India Yuva Jat Mahasabha long back around 1983. Which was later headed by Vijay Punia. But its doors were open to not only Jat Hindu and Jat Sikhs but Jat Muslim, Jat Christien, Jat Bisnoi, Jat Budhists, Jat Kabirpanthis, Jat Aryasamjis etc. The first adv. was there in Suraj-Sujan where Dr. P S Lamba was actively involved.
 
Later Capt. Bhagwan Singh and Dharmender were weighed in blood by this Yuva Jat Mahasabha, in Jaipur.
 
aur kya mere bhai use sikkon me tolte? Jat ke paas blood or paseena hi to hai jo vo bahata hai doosron ke liye! Jai Jawan Jai kissan!

also tewatia sahab, if u have any such organisation, plz let us know how we can join it and bring a change.

all i all one thread n two gud thoughts.

arrrr.........tewatia sahab sahi kaha, jaat ke paas to sirf khoon aur pasina hi hai arrr salla paisa bhi hoga isme koi shak nahi, waise things r changing and our jat bhais are doing good in all walks of life.

a sincere request, please do not involve past politics and fights here, as i can see some fued cropping up. Let this dream be a reality
 
Dear all,

I would like to draw ur kind attention to JANJAGRITI (www.janjagriti.com. This organisation has recently been registered as NGO. The bank account and FERA regualtions are likely to be completed soon. Originally it was named JATJAGRITI, but than it revealed that the name sounding too casteist when we started working onground in villages and hence the name was changed to what it is now, keeping the originality of the welfare, scholarship etc only for JATS.

The future is looking brighter and most of u must be aware, Karan, A USA educated jat is staying in the pilot village and doing wonders in teaching as jack of all subjets especially Spoken English.

This 15 Oct is a major visit planned and all are welocme to come to BARHANA pilot village. Next target is to start off in various villages with volunteer staying nearby to take up this under the banner of JJ, read JANJAGRITI in subsequent text.

Navin Gulia is overseeing all the areas and i must mention here that he has even refused a job offer in order to devote more time to JJ. A man of principles and i wish u read about him or see him in NDTV or Newspapers, in which he appears time to time. People who know him will vouch for this man of steel and guts.
To cut the long story short. Everything is there , the idea , what is left to be done is implementation. As a Lawyer in the last DJM put it, and let me quote " its is not that jats have come together, now, in past too groups were formed for social work. But many have failed either because the people were never so young like us or they have duplicated their efforts or the implementaion have been poor"
Personnally, my views are that all ideas are good, but they need to be implemented. A platform is already set as JJ, it is for everyone to come up not only with bright idea,but see to it that it sees the light of the day.

What is the programme on 15th, wheather you are cordinating people
how will these proceed to Barahana, sum of our brothers will like share the convayance, Can we arrange it in such a way that every one who are interesting to go their will get benifet of the other ones convayance.

Please let us know if possible, I am also like to go their if every thing
goes well how it will be arrange. I have a car and till now Iam alone,
if some body interested to come with me, I am happy to travel with.

Dear Fellow Jatlanders,

I was in the UK for the last three days with no Internet access .. so i could not get back straight away ...

I will be going to India in Feb, but in the meanwhile my family will register the organisation in India on my behalf.

I had absolutely no knowledge about the ongoing efforts of others who have already dedicated themselves to the Jat cause.

I will however like to start a new organisation which has a Jat Identity , the proposed name is "Jat Swabhiman Sangh" .........

But I do definately believe the efforts will be much more efficient and effective if we work together and join hands .. rather than splitting away in tiny fractions and working seperately. ...

I am looking forward to meeting these brave enlightened souls who have sacrifised self gain for the community and take pride in social service ....

So Tewatia Ji what is this current status of the organisation ??

Does it exist ?? What role does it play now ??

What is the structure ??

whosoever heads it was not my issue. I was not a political person. n till today I'm not. Wherever lies the interest of Jat, I'm on that side only. Vijay Punia, that time, was a coomon choice of Jat Youth.

I organised the meeting of Jat youths in International Youth Center in Chanakyapuri, Delhi in 1988 and 1989; "A Dazzling Meeting of Minds", where all international community participated, including Vijai Punia, capt Bhagwan Singh, Major Onkar Singh, Shyamvir Singh etc. (some of them are no more), and some Jats from abroad. That time we gave a memorandum to the Queen of Holland 'not to change the name of Jutland to Jyland as Jat sentiments are attached to this land'; however, it was Prof. R S Verma's (Canada) idea but approved by all Jats.

Apni community, JAT, ko serve karne ka jo anand hai vo kahin nahin!!!!!

Chaudhary (Charan Singh) sahb was annoyed with me with this Yuva Jat Mahasabha. So, I went to found one more "All India Yuva Grameen Sabha"

When Chaudhary was dead at 12 Tughlak Road, in 1986; I was there. All were contemplating what should be the name given to Chaudhary's Samadhi? I said "Kissan Ghat".

As President of All India Yuva Grameen Sabha, later I organised a function in Chaudhary Sahb's memory at Palwal.

saathi,, my heartiest congratulations on coming p wid a gr8 idea....but tell me one thin ,, wot makes u think dat u can do smthin different for the community or ur better than thoose who r serving the communityfor years?wot u have done /achieved so far? du know the basic problems of an aam aadmi?du know how many villeges and jat gotras r there in haryana ?ru planing to cm back to india or u`ll manage things frm there?.......
dude if u really want to work for community,drop d idea of an organisation and go join any organisation.. we already have a lot of organisations in every distt. in haryana...where a young boy with lot of new ideas`ll b wlcmd...cm on man take a start frm the root level....and if ur willing to add ur name in organisation`s list then its ok................ bhai thode dimn pehlam I.I.Tians ney bhi ek political party banai thee.......yaar ib laag kuch na bera unka key hooya............:rolleyes: bhai iss suuki fukrapanthi mein kimmey na dharya...agar social work karan ke jee mein sey to JAN JAGRATI join karle.... ya too aapne aadmiyaan ki ey hai.....its a suggestion ,dont take it otherwise..cheers
