It is a good beginning but the organizers need to analyze it very minutely now. As you know the rally did not got any coverage and the govt just ignored it. Compare it with the sugarcane protest held few months back wherein govt reverted one of its decision within hours. I think the main reason for failure was non support of any major political party specially Ajit's or INLD (which are the only Jat parties). If the Jat political parties themselves are not backing this Jat cause how can we accept a party like Congress to give importance to this issue. The organizers of rally should have consulted with Ajit Singh, and Chautalas. In case they did not provided support then they should have brought this out in open during press conference, so that people know that these leaders are not supporting this cause and can decide whether to vote for them or not in next elections.
Hairaani is baat ki bhi hai ki Tikait ka koi statement Jat reservation par nahi aaya. Kya unhe approach kiya gaya or unhone mana kar diya? I am sure ki isme agar Chautala, Ajit ya Tikait ka saath milta to yeh rally kamyaab ho jaati. Jab tak Jat leaders ek nahi honge or support nahi denge tab tak aisi sabhi koshish fail hoti rahegi.

Rana bhai, castes ek alag cheez hai, uska sarkaari faisalon se koi lena dena nahi hota. Jab yeh reservation nahi tha tab chamaar bhi General Category mei aate they, to kya Jat unhe apne barabar samajhte they??? Do you have some link to prove that Haryana's jat population is twice of Rajasthan. Please don't comment without facts and figures. We can't speculate on these type of matters. I asked couple of members here to come up with exact jat population per state and % population, Literacy rates etc.. I never heard anything from anybody.
I suggest everybody to refrain from making any speculation to support his/her point of view.

आरक्षण की मांग के लिए जाटों ने दिल्ली में जो रैली की, उससे कम से कम दूसरे लोगों को जाटों की ताक़त का अहसास तो हो ही गया और ये अहसास भी हो गया कि कुछ जाट भले ही सिख या मुसलमान बन गए हों, लेकिन वक़्त पड़ने पर ये सब एक हो जाएंगे. हरियाणा में एक छोटा-सा हिस्सा है अहीरवाल. ये यादव उसी पे खुश होए रह हैं कि यादव बहुल क्षेत्र अहीरवाल. अगर हरियाणा, पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश की तरह कोई राज्य या बड़ा इलाका इनके प्रभाव क्षेत्र में होता तो पता ही नहीं ये तो अपने को कितना बड़ा मानने लगते. पूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेश में और बिहार में भले ही यादव हों, लेकिन वहाँ इनका कोई प्रभुत्व नहीं है. पूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेश में भी और बिहार में भी ठाकुर, ब्राह्मण और कायस्थों की अच्छी-खासी तादाद है. गुर्जरों का तो बेचारों का इस दुनिया में कुछ है ही नहीं. यहाँ पता चलता है कि जाट एक कितनी जबरदस्त कौम है. बल्कि हकीकत बात तो यह है कि मैंने तो भारत में आज तक किसी भी क्षेत्र के बारे में ये नहीं सुना कि ये ठाकुरलैंड है या ठाकुर बहुल क्षेत्र है. हालांकि कई राज्यों में उनका प्रभाव है. इसके बावजूद जाटों के बारे में ही ऐसा लिखा जाता है कि जाट बहुल क्षेत्र पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश या जाटों की धरती हरियाणा. जाटों में पैदा होकर मैं तो धन्य हो गया. मैं तो बिना पिए ही हर समय नशे से में रहता हूँ. जाट होने के नशे में. मैं इस सारी दुनिया में कमी निकाल सकता हूँ, लेकिन कोई मुझ जाट में कमी नहीं निकाल सकता. बताओ दक्षिण भारत के काले भुशुन्डों में कमी निकालूँ या सूअर जैसी खाल और बंदर जैसी शक्ल वाले अंग्रेजों में? कुछ कहते हैं कि जाटों में अक्ल नहीं होती, लेकिन लड़ाकू कौम कोई भी हो, उसके बारे में ऐसा ही कहा जाता है. पाकिस्तान में पठानों के बारे में ऐसा कहा जाता है कि पठानों में अक्ल नहीं होती. तो ये कुछ बात नहीं है. बाकी कुछ जाट अगर अपना impression अच्छा कर लें तो और बढ़िया रहेगा.

There is enough discussion already why we need it if some one really wants to know he can always see earlier threads and posts where every aspect of reservation has been discussed in details.....but a poster with ulterior motives will always like to derail such tempo and best way to reply them is work harder for this objective.
Those people who treat other people low and use Kamin or other derogatory words for them are just ignorant people as No Cast is superior or inferior to any other cast .Anyway there is no time for such useless discussions now .

"AKHIL BHARTIYE JAT AARAKSHAN SAMITI" is non poltical orgnisation and if you talk about support of other parties we already told them raise this issue in parliament..bahar to hum hi kafi hey. rahi baat media ki..to let it be..1857 mein bhi "KRANTI "AAYE THI jab kaun sa media that..aur hum to paidaishi ladaku kaum hey hamey yeh bataney ki jarorat nahi ki ladai aur andolan kaisey karey jatey hey...Jat is united and I am sure ..ab kamyabi door nahi..
