Ramesh ji you are right about Kanishtha's village connection, she does visit her grand parents time to time however the points marked in bold are not correct. Her grandfather retired as Commander from the navy and not Master-Chief Petty Officer. Also her mother who is also daughter of retirered army officer does not belong to Sonepat but to village Girdharpur/Babepur near Subana in the same area of Jhajjar district.

I believe you are right! Senior Dhankhad was Lt. Commander and In charge of Naval Transmission Station at Goa in Late 70s( 1978-1979), when his elder son got selected for Naval Academy( or may be a couple of years later) and retired as a commander. A thorough gentleman and kind hearted Officer. He had special affection for boys from Haryana. A friend of mine, Harish Kumar Redu served under him and now lives in Melbourne.
 
I may be wrong about the rank of the grandfather, but he has risen from sailor rank and settled in his village. Eldest son is from NDA.

I dun know why this whole debate is going on, she has won a beauty contest, belongs to our community,
we shud be proud of her instead of criticizing. people are recklessly comparing her to their neighbours and
women in villages, my dear friends its not only the beauty but the "beauty with brain" that makes u win the

Some brothers are unhappy/uncofortable on the success of the girl because she belongs to a defence family, as per them defence people are totally uneducated, mad, uncultured, ill behaved, carry their ranks and boots on their head and donot belong to jat community inspte of getting birth from jat parents. Miss Kanishaka and her achievement belong to the community as a whole and she deserves all the kudos. Rest assured, there are not many who subscribe to the views expressed by your goodself. Then, let them live in their own world.

As a martial community the Jats are proud to have connexion with our defense personnel. Hats off and salute to all of them.

कर्नल साहब आप तो खामखां मायूस होरे सो | इन श्याणा त दुखी होके चंदर बोस ने भी यो फ़ौज का बाणा लेना पड़ गया था | और आज देश में जो भी आन्दोलन हो रहे हैं चाहे जाट आन्दोलन हो, गुज्जर आन्दोलन या फिर लोकपाल बिल इन सबकी अगवाई फौजी ही कर रहे हैं | किसान और जवान दोनों का काम देश भक्ति का स और भक्ता ने दुनिया बावला ऐ कहा करे |
