Hope

Hope is a small ship
in the distant horizon
with white sails
It has been wounded
by the tempers of the sea
But when the dawns of age break
and when the waters are still
Its there
Waiting for the giant yellow star
to mirror a modest hello.

My Childhood

On a saturday morning
we woke up and
cleaned the dirt off our eyes
we rushed outside
with mummy screamig behind us
We looked for pretty wild flowers
which grew close to the footpaths
in the dry land
we chased the butterflies
and when i think of my little sister's face
that day
when i gave her a flower
when i saw the most beautiful little flower blossom
my heart cant help but cry

A Farmer's throne

In a heart
there is a country
with acres of gold and bronze fields
where when the raindrops fall
One can smell the happy sadness

The trees whisper a body's name

Where the peacocks dance
with a shy grace and inherent beauty
..is the place of a home.

The thoughts of pouring water
echo the distant memory of a past
From the dense forest of sadness and emptiness
emerge the gusty red and proud flames of a warrior!

I am afraid to love

I am afraid to love, and yet I love you.
My fear is like a wall I walk right through.
The wall is there, and yet it doesn't stop me.
I need it still, and yet I still need you.

I know someday we will be in a field
Surrounded by the blessing of the sky.
I'll dance with all the freedom of pure joy,
Needing you without a reason why.

But now I'm still afraid that I might lose you,
That you might not accept my desperate need.
You make me laugh and cry and be complete.
You are the flower, I the slender reed.
