Vote on FDI in Retail in Parliament: CONGRESS HAS WON, DEMOCRACY HAS LOST
Despite 14 out of 18 parties against FDI in retail, Congress won the debate in Lok Sabha.
Despite 282 members (majority) against FDI in retail, Congress won the debate in Lok Sabha (thanks to the pre-planned SP, BSP walkouts).
It is anybody's guess why did the bitter enemies (BSP and SP) help Congress while being vehemently opposed to FDI in retail.
Indeed, A Black day for Indian Democracy - Even without majority support, Congress wins on FDI in retail in the LS. Though, it has happened in the past as well - CASH FOR VOTE SCAMS. I am sure it will happen again with the Congress and its dirty tricks that we are so well aware of.
Then they have the guts to talk about democracy, parliament, constitution when Arvind Kejriwal questions their corruption. Shame!!
