Exactly, Agreed here with u more than 100%, Poons ! Indeed its ultimate way to vent out ur frustration that for sure harm if u don't vent that out ..
Btw, I wud rate the person highly hypocrite and of double std, if He or She says, I never used sucha words or hate it or can even break friendship or stop talkin cuz of using these foul words ..
Comeon, guys everybody use them and mind u not to abuse/hurt everytime .. sometimes just to vent out frustration and some time just for fun n showing affection to friends .. If you look at western flicks they use F word every now and then and no body even care about it, its so common there .. and here in India, even so much hypocracy in bollywood as well !!
Am not justifying using sucha cuss words, as Poons stated one should exercise some caution where to use n where to not but still you can't stay away from it ..
You know F word is arguably the most versatile and fascinating word in English language even Osho used to think so, thus once he had given a lecture to describe the beauty of the Flower word !
And yeah as for Rajasthani and specially Jats ... Well Jats are more and less very much same ... thou Rajasthani dialect sounds n feels sweet but when they start venting out frustration using those words, its all same ! The universal language is all same and as Rajiv stated ppl pick these words very quick ..
So dont make fuss out of it, but lil modesty and manners is always a plus so use these words with a lil caution ..

A fiery topic is this and writing something here will mean stirring up a hornet's nest i guess. But still, i would like to say that abusive words are in bad taste and show an uncivilized way of interacting. Those defending it might say that such words help in expressing their anger better or provide spice to the conversation. But using abusive words just because one derives pleasure out of it is not a justification. The languages we use are so rich that we can express everything that we need to express through them. So why the need to abuse the language, distort it or screw it up? How can one fall short of words...i wonder ! Vocabulary of our languages are quiet vast and developed and there are words for all the emotions we go through. The very name 'abusive word' shows the nature of words being used. They are abusive to the language and offending to the listener. They simply are in bad taste.

I sure am joining quite late in the discussion but neways hav a few things to contribute......
i did try reading all the posts were they were just too lengthy n so i left quite a few.....so if this is not wit the flow of the discussion then m already sorry in advance.....
well no matter how much v hate it or dislike it...these words r a part of our existence...n thr is not much tht v can do abt it....
a few days bak i was in chaupal n refused to talk to a guy on PM.....tht guy got downright nasty n started using all these M*F* abuses wit me......
now the most tht i cud do was ignore him but stil he kept on wit these words n found some way or the other to get his msgs accross to me....
now i did wht best i cud do in this condition but then tht surely reflects whr v jats r heading...when v can use such words wit even a female......
then sometimes our brothers n fathers too use these words...can v stop talking to them???
v can only request them not to use such words but tht wudnt mean they hav stopped it....
n i too abuse....when m driving i just cannot control my emotions over the way ppl drive...n thts the shortest n easiest way to put accross ur feelings to the person whos driving bad in the few seconds tht it takes to cross him.....
n so i agree wit brahm ji....tht hardly thr wud b nebody who hasnt used these words ever....n those who claim who hav not....r real exceptions...n m yet to meet such ppl.....

n my family surely never abuses me...i only tell them not to use these words wen they use it for someone...n they also say they wont use it the next time....
but again the next time same thing happens...then wht do u think u can do???
u cant boycott ur own family right...n this is jus an example am taking...m sure its same for many families....
n i contacted a mod thr n then n copied pasted tht guy's words....
but i doubt if tht guy was banned frm here....but i never saw him in chaupal again

Bhawna when you say that family doesn't abuse you....same is the case for me and others too, whie we can't change our family then, who is left that can be so important whom we have to tolerate despite using shabby language. I dont want to create an Oh So Great image here but YES my friend(males n Females) NEVER EVER abuse or use these words in front of me, you have to express yourself to the set of people you sit/ live/ work with. Big changes happen with small efforts

Bhavo u r correct that there r lot of people around us who doesn't have the sense how to talk its not just about Chaupal or JL its every where u can easily found those kind of guys in abroad but majority always says that these people are uneducated and rediculous.
I don't think k that anyone of us can claim that i never abused or i doesn't know these kind of words but peolple must know when and where u r using these kind of words. I m not saying that using of these words is good but sometimes u loose control on ur tounge but u should take care who the target audience.

I use cuss words amongst friends or when they are required (like in a fight). You might even use them in some public forums where you know that the audience are your peers. But definitely not in a diverse platform like JL. And on a PM to an unknown female is right there at the intersection of sickness and cowardice.
