Challenges and Chances before AAP

Changes are not only the change in corruption or money. Arvind AAP Party social composition is very bad and dangerous for nation. Please watch the TV carefully , u will see 90% spokesperson from Pandey,Mishra, Bania . Do you think this type of composition is good for nation? Do you think Delhi only has Pandey,Mishra & Bania as the community.
True is that they think rest are Idiot.
Corruption can be in many forms -
Suppose an IAS sitting in interview Board in Delhi hates the Haryanavi touch of language, then he is not going to select that person whatever good that candidate may be,
this is not corruption in money but intention is wrong.
This will be more dangerous than corruption.
We have faced these challenges in Delhi and Noida Govt. & Private offices.
Do not expect a Bihari or Poorbia to select a Haryanvi. 10% may be ok.
A south indian can do right to you.
Social Composition of an Party matters a lot for the people.

BTW do you have any idea of other spokespersons for BJP except Abhimannyu appearing on TVs? From Congress side also, I know only Surjewala who appears in TV debates. I am asksing just for my information as I plan to make a list of important spokespersons. No offence please.

No worries sir. Lets see, when government coffers will be exhausted by burgeoning subsidies bill. May be money grows on trees and Kezriwal has many such trees. Left has done such welfare in West Bengal for many years.

Stashes of money lying in coffers are meaningless for those whose bellies are empty.

जिस खेत से दहकान को रोटी मयस्सर ना हो उस खेत के हर खोसा-ए-गंदम को जला दो

दहकान: किसान
खोसा-ए-गंदम : गेहूं के खलिहान

Providing freebies is not an efficient solution to this problem. I guess, you know it well. Doing things in a right way is always appropriate. You need to enable people to earn bread and butter rather than handing out freebies to them. That does not mean government must stop any welfare. Government should invest money in improving infrastructure and thus resulting in generating employment. If government starts spending money on subsidies then it would result in a non transparent system which has no accountability. And less money left for improving infrastructure and amenities.

Removing poverty is not straightforward. It needs proper economic measures. By handouts you cannot get rid of unemployment problem. Kezriwal has opposed FDI in retail. He has also proposed permanent jobs to all contractual employees. I mean how can you do that. Instead he should have relaxed labour laws. Developed countries have very relaxed labour laws, which allow employers to hire and fire employees easily. That's helpful in creating more jobs. If you propose all permanent jobs then you need more money. Because permanent employees are entitled to more rights and benefits. So government would need more money. So there will be less scope for more employment. Same is true for private sector. Businesses will not be flexible to change as the markets changes.

Also a government has no business in being a business. Government job should be promoting a business friendly atmosphere. Not to take business in its own hands. That must be left to private sector and the markets. But it does not mean government should stop welfare activities. There has be to be balance somewhere between capitalism and socialism. But hard core socialism is an evil. We have seen it in the past how we ran out of money and had to beg money from world bank and all. If we still don't want to learn from our past mistakes than no one can help us!

Kis mahashaya ka likha hua sher le aaye V.P. What about the other mainstream parties? Do you think they are more common than Kejriwal? I do not think so. In my opinion they want to perpetuate the "Haveli Culture" expecting the common men to bow to them and pay obeissance to their Havelis for each and every work which should have been otherwise a right of common man without having approached these political masters and their touts. I am surprised an academic of your stature is in favour of continuation of this rotton culture which is even worse than the colonial culture where people didn't have to run from pillar to post to have an FIR registered or to have a ration card.

Friend,

As stated earlier I had seen a ray of hope in the emergence of 'AAP' as an alternative to existing party system with a 'difference' but within time of less than one month, the dream of people like me has been belied by this new party. The doings, functioning and hunger for seeking and sticking to power at all costs adopted by it are the same features to which one wanted a party with promise ! If 27 odd members out of 70 elected MLAs go for formation of Government, that too with the help of the political party whom they labelled during the elections the most 'corrupt' has demolished effectively the claim of the AAP to be any different qualitatively than the existing political milieu. Its MLAs are at the throats of the leadership for not getting the slice of spoils in this power game as they do in other political parties.

People are dying as in the past due to winter onslaught on the shelter less people in Delhi as usual and the ministers are busy in 'mid night raids' on helpless women or calling names to journalists.

Under the circumstances what special quality remains of this AAP.

The downgrading of the AAP continues with the utterances and doings of its Cabinet ministers who time and again do not fail to attack the institutions of governance in a democratic system and then retracting their statements !

The fortune seekers rejected by other parties are joining the band wagon of this party to seek the benefit of greener fields there. It seems that future of the AAP is likely to meet the same fate as AGP in Assam or Janta Party and Janta Dal at national level which failed to implement their promises made to the people.

These are some of the disappointing issues that concern all right thinking people who had seen a ray of hope in the emergence of this promising change-maker in the life of common man i.e. AAP !

Thanks and regards

Friend,

About the first point I am in total agreement with you that all mainstream political parties and AAP are the same in their approach towards common man!

On the last point, kindly note that I am all for change and weeding out the rotten elements which have crept in the Indian Institutions of democratic governance and do not support status quo in the system; but the change must be for better not for replacement of one outdated party by another worst reactionary party.

Thanks and regards

Good exhortation for Revolution but the million dollar question is who will bell the cat !!

Ruling class has been employing such tactics all through history. When it comes to AAP, almost all Indian political parties have joined hands to attack it. Public is watching the game and having its own views. History is witness that no amount of propaganda could save anti people political forces. It will take some time for AAP to become a cohesive political force. AAP has to go through all this to learn the game and defeat the opponents. In my view this is good for Indian democracy. No other party in Indian politics has been scrutinized so much as AAP in such a short period. AAP is literally like Abhimanyu surrounded by 100 Kauravas. Whenever a political system is challenged, problems are bound to come. In political jungle only the fittest will survive. Let us see if AAP can pass this test.

Beautiful comment, we hope that fate of Abhimanyu does not revisit AAP !!!!

Krishan ji, I am amazed at the irony in your posts. You cry foul about the so called conspiracy against Jats but do not fail to castigate and stereotype other communities. Almost every post of yours is painting Jats as the victims and the Biharis, Banias etc as the aggressors out to usurp everyone else's positions.

Delhi I believe, much like the country we live in, is for everyone. And if one community favors its own over others, then show me one that doesn't.

Friend,

His voice of protest is not cry of a person but a clear challenge to the system prevalent at various levels in the country.

Your post also explicitly shows support to his voice of dissent that caste and community factors continue to overshadow metro towns like Delhi, which happens to be the national capital and a Union Territory, too !

It is hoped that the present dispensation would, if possible, put a check on it and replace it with Merit based selections at all levels and all inclusive development !

Thanks and regards

Can't agree more! Even the presidents speech was like written by a modern Kaurva! At times during his speech Paranav Da's speech looked like written by Digvijay singh! Totally useless!

Friend,

No doubt, it is really so !

It is said that constant vigilance at various levels is must to ensure smooth flow of any movement in the right direction. In the instant case, the rising tide of people is no exception.

The participants in this movement need be kept posted about the real intentions and actual actions of the leaders of the party with a 'difference' so that the movement could not be exploited by a few 'uncommon power seekers.'

In the same way the leaders also get feed back in this type of discussion if they want to learn the need of fulfilling their promises made to the public in letter and spirit.

Thanks and regards

Initially, the S-I says, he was quite happy. “I had voted for him, but I had never seen him, except on television. I knew that this protest was against police, but some of the things that the Aam Aadmi Party is talking about — corruption in police, lacklustre performance of some officers — these are true and need to be rectified,” he says.

After 24 hours on ‘Kejriwal duty’, however, the policeman is a disillusioned man. If the insults being flung at him with increasing vehemence leave him saddened, that they are clichés hurts him more. Someone calls him a ‘dalaal of the Congress’, another says he has sold his soul for a few rupees.

“Some of the things Kejriwal has been saying are very stupid. He’s the CM and it’s important that he doesn’t say something that will make the crowd angrier. But by denouncing police and the media in such unclear terms, he’s setting things up for a violent episode,” the S-I says.

While the S-I’s talking, an AAP supporter walks up to him and says, “Tu kya has raha hai be? Tu hamara naukar hai (Why are you laughing? You are our servant).” The S-I immediately brings on his impassive expression. “They forget that we’re also aam aadmi. I am just trying to do my job, follow my orders. This is my duty. It’s what brings food to my family. But here they’ve turned us into demons,” he says.

Asked whether he would vote for AAP again, he gives a brief smile. “Vote main kisko doonga, wo toh main dekhoonga. Bas koi isko yaad dila de ki policewallah bhi aam aadmi hota hai (Who I vote for is my concern, but someone should remind him that a policeman is also a common man).”

सारांश: शायद इसी पुलिस वाले कि तरह काफी लोगों के सामने कड़वा सच धीरे धीरे सामने आ रहा है.

Nothing just mindless propaganda. Rest assured it won't work. People will see through this. Sensible people have already started dissecting this. Take time and go through this link ;

BJP and congress are fighting propaganda war conventionally. Rest assure it will fail.

VP Sir, Yeh Haveliyan aapke badi khtakti hain.. Kiya baat kuch share karo.. phele bhi aap kayi bar jikar kar chuke hain..

But Sir dont worry that is history now, haveli culture is long gone and Kothi Culture is more prevalant these days which is making its way for new Housing Society Culture or Flat culture.

Sir I am surprised too that a learned person like you is not understanding the culture is more or less same only changing in name. Instead of asking for head of those policeman if AK would have asked for police reforms that would have been better. At present he is looking for control of police under him instead of Home Ministry.
