wch meaning u are talking of ? no.1 or no.2 ?![]()
Tewatia Bhai,,,,in my oppinion English language is way far behind Hindi and Sanskrit in terms of grammer. There are certain palces where we Indians are left with no choices. When we want to give respect to our seniors we have to use some words which if translated in Hindi would mean sort of disrespect. Please through some light on it. I think we should modify english as per our needs. Ham Hindi mein bade araam se apne se bade ko kah sakte hain ki "aap Kahaan Jaa rahei ho",,,,,lekin isko english mein likhana ho to badi hi duvidha ho jaati hai.
Sachin bhai....... Respect deney k liye Kripya "They" ka use karein... "He" ka nahi......... :rock :rock :rock
I am in sync ( see i devised a more fancy word) with you on this !

Most of the times , we discuss such subjective things that the same person can twist the words to make you agree with two total contradictory aspects !I have deliberately done that at times as an experiment.
3. agreed... in wch meaning ? no.1 or no.2 ? have a grasp on the title post... u are going off-topic.So for people who find it hard to express themselves at length , "I concur" is a good way to really tell what they think of the topic!
Dont see condtradictions on why one cant use the word
wch meaning u are talking of ? no.1 or no.2 ?
Humm, interesting thread Bhai Brahm !![]()
Never knew a word regularly used by me we'll make sucha big impact (whole thread is dedicated to the very word) on JL's members that too on someone like u, who is master in creative English writing !![]()
As far I know Concur means - Be in accord; be in*agreement. It is also a synonym of word Agree.
Well, you know Brahm, English is sucha funny languageevery second word keeps double n different meaning as well as its not that rich like Hindi, German n Sanskrit vocab.
for example Second means endorse bhi hota hai aur doosra bhi, like that Gay means happy bhi hota hai aur homo bhi ... so its actually quite confusing as well ..
So bhai jyada load mat leve n take it easy, I hope here u concur with me word by word !
Rock on
Jit
u've some filthy agendas runnin' back of yr mind 24x7... w/o mincing my words, i say so !!! u've recd. the bashing several times with no improvement. pls. dont forward yr sick-headed manipulations on the thread. [pit-stop...final]Bebe,,,I Concur with you Alphabet by Alphabet
"Kudos" to you for clarifying your thoughts.
You "Rock On",,,,,They also use this word frequently:rock

but tks for yr contribution on the 2nd meaning of the word.
Dont be hypocrite bhai,,,dont worry about what I have in my mind,,,,I very well know with what intention you started this thread,,,,,,,
m no hypocrite, nor do i worry abt other's mind... cos >>> i dont keep any hidden agenda's. if i have to say/confess on something, i say it on the face, on this very portal... my signature are a testimony, just to remind you once again. nd if u are aware of my intentions... good for you !!!... go tell all JATlanders on full throttle of yr lung power.
i have been very clear and categorical in mentioning/not mentioning the name(s). on the 2nd usage of the word, my previous post (... bang on to you) is a good example, if you can comprehend out of the realm of yr fallacies. yr dose of cerelac nd gripe water seems to be running out... get charged bruv, nd dont make a fuss out here !
Poonam kind of summed it up for me , we need to be contextual while comprehending word's meaning.
now you are getting the essence of the thread...Many a times I have seen on this portal , people conveying not what they want to convey but what they want a "Select" few to get!that should be discouraged irrespective.
Guess Markov-ish-ness is on work , where even when people see plain english , they kind of tend of perceive what they want to rahter that what should !![]()
Dont know what you are talking about! I dont even think this type of basic stuff deserves an explanation (ofcourse except when you are a beginner with the Eng language..No kidding I mean it) but since you asked..
In English, words often have multiple meanings depending on the context in which they are used. So, people (like you did) may have comprehension difficulties when coming across such words.
For instance, word 'break' could mean 'to smash' or 'a rest'; word 'chest' could mean 'a box with a lid' or 'the body part' etc etc...
Having said that, lesson is: learn to infer the intended meaning of a word based on context.
my explanation failure ??? [/QUOTE]
Precisely! There you go!
I read 'your' post and responded accordingly, may be failing to comprehend the hidden inference....perhaps because of the reason you confessed.
I dont wanna comment at length here, dont find it interesting enough at the first place (rather appalling as stuff like this generally has a vicious end) ..and kinda dont have the knack of being judgemental.
Thanks for the efforts though.
Over and out!
