I think we are going off the topic...The topic was the way cows (animals) are being treated.

To eat or not to eat meat should be left to everyone's own personal / moral Judgement.

I guess u need NOT SOME BUT MUCH feedback ! Mr. Saharan u look quite socially isolated and dont know how to talk to someone elder ! 'Childish behaviour' is going out of the box & that too in a negative manner ! Medical prescription......... have u had some?

There is nothing wrong in murdering anyone u know......... a killer thinks this way! So, its just a matter of individual perception. If u perceive this way, then also u must refrain urself from talking in a language, which, atleast the common masses think to be 'offensive'. Nobody has asked u to follow the views here cumpulsorily ! If u dont wish, then nobody will be coming to your home to stop u from anything !

So, I guess there is no good in poking nose & that too a 'bad nose' in this manner ! Well, dont know whether u deserve any kind of feedback, but still try being 'not bad' atleast!

I think u have tried something else. Quarter pounder doesnt have any tuna in it and yeah beef in burgers is never crispy. Infact I have never tried crispy beef in my life !

:) They are our own Jat brethern, Chhikara ji. Perhaps FATWA is a correct word. Taslima Nasreen is undergoing the pains of FATWA from Bangladeshi moulvis. I know the root cause. The guy from Maham Chaubissi who is showing his uneasiness here, has perhaps got allegry against me after reading my thread Halaat-e-Bayan : Jatland ki Forum - it is only his misunderstanding. Sometime back he sent me an offensive PM and action was taken against him by moderators.

I have great regard for Maham Chaubissi which is clear from my thread Kissa-e Maham-Chaubissi. This guy has perhaps not read this so far and hopefully will read it now and repent over his misbehaviour and misunderstanding.

I believe forgiveness, rather than revenge, is the best policy.

After starting this thread, I had thought of putting on Jatland Wiki the famous book by Swami Dayanand :Gokarunanidhi (गोकरुणानिधि ). I am happy to inform that after about a month’s hard work, I have been able to convert this book into electronic text form and it is now available on the following page of Jatland Wiki:

This book in Hindi, written about 130 years ago, carries all the relevant queries regarding protection of cows, especially in Indian context. Swami Dayanand established the first Gaushala in India in Rewari (Haryana), in the year 1880 AD.

May God enlighten the hearts of those Jat youngsters who are advocating eating beefburgers even in this thread !

यह दु:खद है कि हरियाणा में गो हत्या बदस्तूर जारी है। पानीपत, गुड़गांव आदि जिलों के रास्ते गोमांस अन्य राज्यों में भेजा जा रहा है । पशु तस्कर ट्रक में ठूंस-ठूंस कर गोवंश ले जाते हुए कई बार पकड़े गए हैं, लेकिन उन्हें कानून का खौफ नहीं रहा । वे बकायदा पुलिस से मुकाबला करने की तैयारी करके चलते हैं। इन घटनाओं से स्पष्ट है कि राज्य में पशु तस्करों का एक संगठित गिरोह काम कर रहा है । भिवानी में आयोजित राष्ट्रीय संत सम्मेलन में चिंतन किया गया कि गोवंश पर अत्याचार बढ़ने से कैसे हमारी संस्कृति विकृत हो रही है? गाय, जिसे मां जैसा दर्जा प्राप्त है और जो पूजनीय है, की मांस के लिए तस्करी चिंताजनक और पीड़ादायी है । पिछले कुछ वर्षो में फरीदाबाद और गुड़गांव में हजारों गायों का वध किया जा चुका है। अदालतों में सैकड़ों मुकदमे विचाराधीन हैं, फिर भी पशु तस्करों पर शिकंजा नहीं कसा जा सका है। कुछ संस्थाएं गो सवंर्द्धन और संरक्षण का कार्य कर रही हैं। इसके बावजूद तस्करों की करतूतें कम नहीं हुई हैं। यह हैरत की बात है कि बड़ी संख्या में लोग इस धंधे में लिप्त हैं और वे बेखौफ होकर अपना काम करते हैं। इस स्थिति को रोका जाना चाहिए।

यद्यपि गोवंश बचाने के लिए हरियाणा की जनता जागरूक हो गई है और जैसे ही लोगों को पशु तस्करों की सूचना मिलती है वे आनन-फानन एकत्रित होकर उन्हें पकड़ने के लिए दौड़ पड़ते हैं । सवाल यह है कि यह कार्य शासन के स्तर पर क्यों नहीं हो सकता ? आम जनता और पशु तस्करों की बीच होने वाली झड़पें कभी भी हिंसक हो सकती हैं । आखिर शासन-प्रशासन में बैठे लोग बहुसंख्यक समाज की संवेदनाओं की परवाह करना कब सीखेंगे ? वैसे गोपालकों को भी अपनी लापरवाही का परित्याग करना होगा । यदि वे यह चाहते हैं कि गोवंश का आदर हो और उसके प्रति कोई अत्याचार न होने पाए तो फिर गायों को इधर-उधर भटकने के लिए छोड़ देने की प्रवृत्ति पर लगाम लगानी होगी । गायों को खुला छोड़ देने की आम लोगों की आदत का फायदा उठाने में पशु तस्कर कभी पीछे नहीं रहते । बेहतर हो कि जहां आम जनता गोवंश के प्रति अपने कर्तव्य को समझे वहीं राज्य सरकार भी पशु तस्करों के खिलाफ सख्त कदम उठाए।

गौ हत्या

Sumit Saharan ji के शब्द "Beef Burger" Yummy-Yummy.........एक हिन्दू जाट द्वारा कहे शब्द काफ़ी निंदनीय, शर्मनाक एवम आपत्तिजनक हैं.......ऐसी अमानवीय मानसिकता से प्रेरित लोग शायद "निठारी कांड" को भी उचित ठहराने मे कोई कोहताही नही बरतेंगे......जहां मासूम बच्चों को इसी जीभ के स्वाद के लिये खाया गाया था....?

इसीलिये बुजूर्गों ने भी कहा है...के जैसा हमारा खान-पान होता है...ठीक वैसे ही हमारे विचार और जीवन-शैली होती है।

मैं स्वम भी एक शाकाहारी परिवार से हूँ..और हमारी अगली पीढ़ी भी पक्की शाकाहारी है......आजकल कुछ परिवारों मे अन्डे को शाकाहारी भोजन कह कर खाया जाता है......मैं इसका भी विरोध करता हूँ......जैसे कोइ ये तर्क देता है के वो शराबी नही है...वो शराब नही पीता..बस कभी-कभी बियर पी लेता है.....उसके हिसाब से शायद "बियर" शराब नही है......? ठीक उसी तराह अन्डा खाने वाला अपने आप को माशाहारी नही कहता। जबकि अन्डा खाने वाला भी माशाहारी है और बियर पीने वाला भी शराबी है......।


देसवाल जी……आप ने गौ हत्या पर जो लेख लिखा है….काफ़ी सहरानीय है…..हिन्दु धर्म में गाय को माता समान माना गया। अगर गलती से भी हमारा पैर किसी गाय़ को छू जाता है तो हम बाकयदा गाय को हाथ जोड कर माफ़ी मांगते है। बचपन मे कविताएं भी पढाई जाती थी कि गाय हमारी माता है……और गाय के दूध के गुणों के बारे मे बतलाया जाता था….. चाहे जीव-जन्तु हो या कोई भी जानवर, हत्या करना एक अपराध है… जुर्म है……इसकी जितनी भर्तसना की जाये कम है….जैसे कि हम आम भाषा मे भी बोलते हैं..…अरै……इस आदमी पै कयूं जुल्म करै सै.…ये तो बेचारा नीरा गऊं सै……। जो लोग गऊंशालाएं चला रहे है…हमे इस पुण्य के कार्य मे उनका हाथ बटाना चाहिये और साथ-साथ गौ हत्या का पुरजोर विरोध करना चाहिये।

ऐसा प्रतित होता है...के आज की नव-पीढ़ी अपने हिन्दू संस्कारो से भटकती जा रही है

मैकडोनाल्ड में खाना खाने जाने से कहीं ज्यादा ऐसी मानसिकता के व्यक्तित्व को पुर्रातन इतिहास , मानव-धर्म और हिन्दू-धर्म की खुबियों का स्वाद लेने/जानने की जरूरत है और मै ये दावे के साथ कह सकता हूँ जिस दिन ये लोग दयालुता, रहम, करूणता, सेवा, जियो ओर जीने दो का स्वाद चख लेंगे इनको जीवन मे एक अलग सी अनुभूती का आभाष होगा.....शायद जीवन मे ऐसा स्वाद इनको कहीं और न मिले...।

Bahot badhiya topic Chhedya aapne yo to. Aur yo bhi bera laagya ke aapni community mai kuchh aadmi sirf economic line pai aie sochhe sain. un nai Murge aur cow ke meet mai kuchh farak nahi dikhta. Pahli baat to vegetarian rahan ke health pai jitne fayde ho sake sain, body control mai rah sake sai, utna non veg mai to nahi ho sakti. Power controlled by mind can only be beneficial to the society. Abrupt power gathered from abnormal sources will not be in control and will always result into conflicts. Point is if anyway meat is healthy, energetic, powerfull, person should also develop his mind accordingly with same pace and should not endulge in such a way with others that without any observation directly start attacking others physically or in any other way. I would not name anyone but one thing is sure if the guy will talk openly about eating cow beef burgers in a village, I don't know what will be his fate.

Second point is there are certain things which integrate India in one country becose they are acceptable to a large part of society. Others out of that set should at least honour feelings of large set so that conflicts can be avoided and nation can grow peacefully. I think cow family is one such symbol which helps in national integration. Guys who cannot care about their mother, cow and nation, can also meet to same fate one day. Displine is required everywhere. And this may be more economical than revenues generated with healthy animal meat, on cost of religious tensions.

Bhai non veg dosto, kum tai kum cow nai to baksh dyo. Iske to burger na khao. Iske meat ke cripsy burger ki jagah aur bahot crispy cheez sain.

i dont want to comment on anybody's eating habits.

personally im lacto-vegetarian and if i ever buy a farm in india and keep cattle, i will make sure they are well taken care of even after they go draught...their retirement :D.

and i dont make any distinction between a cow a buffalo or any other animal.
i believe that we shud do our best to minimize suffering in this world.


and as far as no-vegitarian ppl go, then they can go their way to a chicken or some beef or whatever they like, while i grab myself a footlong veggie sub from a subway :D


PS: i think buffalo's are much more cute and calm than cows

What i have observed is that not only killed in the slaughter houses but in daily life also .. in the urban areas they are dyeing eating polytene, metals etc etc. apart from these in rural area if a bull enters in the fields of somebody they used to hit it with a "Jeli" and same thing is with cow.

People are now turning as wild animals ..... and they are more dangerous to animals.

The slaughtering of Cow and calves is bad ... and even killing of any animal is bad. I don't know where is humanity in humans.
