Death due to Hunger Strike against Reservation...

Mohan Bhargav (KEM Student), has died because of hunger strike protesting against reservation & media is not covering it.

A student dies in hunger strike; Media still not allowed covering the events...What a manipulation by the country's Govt. could we can’t do anything about it than just talk.

God Bless all who are fighting.

All Effort In Vain!!!

Well........plan has been chalked out for the implementation of 27% reservation for OBC's in higher education.......yesterday at 10.30 pm Pranab Mukherjee anounced the same along with P. Chidambaram.......it will be implemented from June, 2007 onwards........so no use cryin out loud now........again politicians have won the battle .......VOTE BANK FOR THEM IS THE ONLY MOTIVE I GUESS!!!!!
It had been rightly said ....NO BODY CAN BEAT THE GOVERNMENT!!!

this is a hoax nothing else. I saw on star news, one of the student admitting that they have been receiveing this message on mobile which is not true.

Lekin ye baat such bhi ho to kya fark padta hai. Inn politician ki khaal itni moti hai aur itne sawendnawihin ho chuke hain ki chahe 100 students ki hunger strike mein mout ho jaye, inhe sirf vote bank dikhai deta hai.

Kuchh logo ki niyati hoti hai ki maut ke darwaje par bhi paap kamaana, aur ayese hi ye sakhas Arjun Singh hein. Kabar mein pair latkaye baitha hai aur peechhde voton ka laalach abhi bhi nahi chhut-ta. I wish somebody would kill this unscruplous ideot who is responsible for the present crises.

Another funny decision supported by most of the parties incuding by NDA
supporters that 27% seats in all inst. of high learning would be resereved and impemented from 2007. The is on the pretext that the currently available intake of condidates won't be disturbed but on additional seats with no mention of improving infrastructure.

Let us see what turn the present agitation takes after this announcement.

Yesterday only i saw an email chain that some srivastava died coz of hunger strike.....
All rumours..it seems...
 
Chahe Rumour hih saahi, Voh jo hunger strike per baithe haiin Kamse kam himmat toh kar raahe haiin System sey Ladne kih.

Deswal ji thik kah rahe hai kii this is rumour or nothing else. No student die due to hunger strike. But jo bhi hai un logo ko bhagwan un logo ko himmat de aur unki manokaamna poori kare.

If you read carefully the message, you'll find it dubious in the first place. First the name of the student -- Mohan Bhargav. It seems fictitious and inspired by Shahrukh Khan's character of reformer and crusader in Swades.

Ok, I admit I am getting too skeptical but now look at the other part:

Today only I saw an NDTV journo talking to a guy on hunger protest. He did not mention any body's death.

These days when the media has become so intrusive that it can even bring to ur living rooms say Shakti Kapur pleading a girl to make love or Bangaru Laxman receiving as littile as Rs 100,000 under-the-table, I wonder who's stopping those newshounds and their hidden camera.

Next time you get such message, please verify before simply forwarding them and adding fuel to the flames.

The Other Side of Reservation

Yes they are fighting for a cause, I am not in favor of this kind of reservation either but is it the best way to protest?

I have full regard to for doctors but what happens to the patients while doctors are on strike. Destroying public property, hunger strikes, suicides and self immolations….I mean burning this country into ashes is not going to solve anything. There has to be a better way.

Also why is it always young adults and not elderly people coming forward to protest and take the burnt? I think elderly people are more resourceful and would know better and more peaceful ways to tackle this problem.

What are the better ways remaining?
Do you think a doctor who got degree with 'baisakhi' of reservation can treat people properly?
And this issue is related to the future of young generation thats why they are coming forward to defy this. They could not succeed but still they sent a message to the whole community that there is limit of appeasement. This message goes to political system of India as well.

these docs r still practicin patience n perseverence, else jus think- lakhs f students write exams in DPMT havin around 250 seats, all of them burnin blood alongwid midnight oil, in this cut-throat competition, n now they r bein shoved off in d corner, n gettin treated like a piece f s*** !:(
wud they b in a mental state to treat any1??:confused:
n jus realize how tuff it wud b to get into jobs-or to do PG?? V guys here cant feel the agony they r passin thru.

I see what you are saying there and I agree on almost all of that but the question I was trying comtemplating is that is it the best way to do it or there better ways to do it.

How can you say that i forwarded it. did not mention that in my post. I did not forwarded it to anyone, i just post it here for an open discussion.
i don't know whether it is true or not but i know only that it's very good,if no one died, but i personally support those medical students, who are on hunger strike atleast they are fighting against the system....and secondly (this is not for you )...kam se kam un logo ka majak to nahi banana chahiye hame....
 
Pragati Madam ji....... don't u think what they are doing that will go in vain....no fruitful result.......if u don't remember , i would like to brush up ur memory......In VP singh days.. when first time reservation came into effect & was protested loudly in all over India ...... Ppls from all professions, students from every stream shown their protest against this reservation..........aapko yaad bhi hogga kitne ATAMDAAH hue the................... eibb nu batao jibb kuch hua tha..... 1-2 meehne main saab thandee pad ge the.....arr VP singh yu reservation ka lath gaad gya tha mharre................. or eibb to baas ye medical aale rooka maaran laag re ...... kon sunegga inki.... koi na sunne...... .......& I want to know what we ppls are doing to support those medical students who are on hunger strike..... anyone who is posting here so long paragraphs on anti-reservation, has provided any help to them??...... no need of crocodile tears........ aarr yha rookke maarre te ke fayda............ jaake MOOCHAN pe latak jaao Arjun singh ki..... paard lyo jaad tai hi............ jibb to baarra paataga protest ka...........................

Plz read my post again, I wrote very clearly that i personally support those, who are on hunger strike. Atleast they are fighting...wo kuch step to le rahe hai, results chahe kuch bhi na nikale, but, i appreciate their efforts...
