Gud to c so much worthy inputs n advices, thanx a lot!!!

Btw, gud news both guys again on the track, I mean they're almost destroyed but they're again on right track, one boy is goin abroad for Phd on full scholarship & other guy is workin in a big MNC as software engineer.

But as for gals, I guess situtation is still same, one gal perhaps got engaged & parents of other gal is searchin for the right match...well, after readin n think a bit replies, I feel guys r right but gals r somewhere wrong & specially their parents... well, u should not make promised if u cant keep'em...so those gals shud had to think twice before fallin in luv! & I guess gals r not timid, they're just sacrificin for their parents false happiness.

Anyways, If same situation wud persist with me, I wudnt give a damn! coz I believe aaye to acha naa aaye to aur bhi acha & Jaane walo ko kisne roka hai...I dont give a damn! If that gal really luvs n cares for me then she'll get back as right here Im waitin....but wudnt spoil my career, my life & my happiness!!

Thats why Im Single & Happy :) ;) :p

Absolutely right, Praveen

But, i had saw something that poeple from a good background doing something that may be insulting if his/her family or friends ever know about that.

But still they proud on themselves. GREAT !

welll , first i decided not to give my input to this thread because the word "LOVE" will always leave u in a confusing state. Till now i am not able to understand the behaviour of human emotions. It varies with time. human emotions are uncontrollable. Love can be a mile stone in ur path if everything goes accordingly as u like.. otherwise it will the stumbled block in ur life.............

true story

really it happens,
i know one of my friend has suffered and paid ultimate prize
.
girl and guy both are jats. girl is from rajasthan (no offence for other rajasthanes) in a priem. insti.outside rajasthan
she proposed the guy saying that she want to marry him and bla-2. the guy told her that he is ready but before begining a relationship be sure if u can pull it off if not then leave it here otherwise it will spoil 4 lifes and 4 families. he said take ur time and decide. but she was adamant to marry him. even in front of god (mandir) she said all it and planned future life. as usual girls mother was a vilian she was keeping the girl in dark that she wil talk but nothing like that happenned . she wanted her money as they were in debts.
time passed bye both were happy but she was fluctuating, she say yes and no 15 times a day sometimes she say i will make my parents realise, aand cry in front of him , but when boy said lets get marry and give formal name to it , she refused giving thousand reasons, some from her some from mother. her mother did everything bad she can. still the guy wanted to marry her , as he wants her not the family.she could not think what was right.he tells her she doesnot know what does seperation means and her family will force her or she herself will say get me married to anybody after the boy was gone she said no , i will not marry anyone. family press. inc. .everyday he tried to make her feel what is hapening but she never wanted to feel doing everybad she can in the process. she couldnot feel relation means both are one, not individuals. , he even refused to marry other girl. he even broke his engagement 4 times for her and everytime he told her that he was doing this 4 both of them but the girl came forward. said u marry i will live alone, even she tried to sabotage him and his family. He even then tried to make her understand what does a marriage means .one fine day the boy got married without his will, as she was not ready his parents want marriage after the marriage . she went to common friends and cried what i did and never realised what it means.cried-2.
the boy also was broken to pieces .he could not live . t
he girl even used her in every possible way she can.
the boy never utterred a word to anybody about anything in her life, as for him that girls respect and image was most imp. in his life.
she say all lies to everybody about the marriage telling everybody , boy was not right and he betrayed her and so on , even she tried to blackmail him she will tel everything to everybody and as only girls voice is heard (thats our society aand system). she even did that
he never said anything bad about her even to her and his parents frieds were ofcourse out of question.
he valued her a lot as a person she never realise it

then one day she came and said that i was gaining experience from u in everytype of thing experience can be gained and now i m a xperinced person u never exist i my life , i love some body else.

the boy was broke to hell. he tried to handle the press. for 3 yrs but could not handle all those things more. that was the final nail in his coffin and he expired still thinking about her and his past (he didnot commit suicide his brains nerves blasted away), repenting about his life.
he was an exceptionally briliant guy stood first in every exam , college and even topped the university. also he was an allrounder briliant in sports and extr curricular activities
he cleared all the compititive exams he gave he was never a looser he face all the hardships of life taking all in his strides.

but that was a tragic end for his life . we came to all this at the very end of his life

the girl will realise her mistakes one day but again that will be too late

God bless her

Hi! Gentle Folks,

Well, I’m just goin to start a thread based on true story & looking forward to get some valuable inputs on this serious topic, I also request u guys not to make fun of it.

Ppl, u must have heard a word 'FANAA' with punch line Destroyed in Luv, it reminds me of my couple of gud old Jat friends who're almost destroyed in luv, thus I often wonder why does ppl become mad in luv rather victim of luv and Why do it always said 'Fall in Luv' why not 'Rise in Luv' ???

Anyways, here I start the true tell of my friends, Well both guys r brilliant & been scholars thro'out their lives, both have completed their higher education from premier Institutes & even got prestigious scholarships too but all gone vain, as both guys have fallen in luv & surprisingly both gals r Jats but dont know why but here both gals
Parents become villains specially their moms!

I dont get what is the prob with their parents, as both of my friends belong to gud families & both r well stable but still there is big NO from their parents, I feel its just sheer obduracy!

But here comes the real prob, both gals r kinda timid in front of their parents n just cant talk openly n take any bold decisions and now the prob & my friends lives r gettin worsen as parents of both gals r started searchin matches for them...so my dear friends life gettin hell.

U know both guys got some rare opportunities to study abroad on full scholarships but they left it for their luv but these gals r just not able to take bold decisions & due to this adverse condition both guys career, health & life is gettin spoiled.

Well, both guys have met those gals parents in person but result is same, parents of gals've just refused & said whatever we wont marry our daughter to u.

All in all, they're spoiling their lives & gettin destroyed in luv! I find only one solution, those gals must come forward n take bold decisions and marry those guys as I believe if u make commitment to somebody u must fulfill it anyhow!

So I need some valuable pragmatic advices & gud inputs from nice sensible & intellectual Jats of Jatland :)

waitin desperately....

Rock on...

I ignored this thread for a while becuase I thought it would be another of those "bakwaa" threads.

But, it is indeed a worthy topic.

One thing that I am yet to undestand about our culture is the taboo over "love marriages." I am a still a big fan of the "old school," whereby marriages were arranged. But, due to my relentless belief in liberty, I wish people had the ultimate say on the issue of marriage. If someone likes someone, they should have the right to go ahead and solmnize their relationship. Even our law protects such vulnerable people. So, parents really need to start respecting their children's wishes.

On the other hand, when I look at the situation from the parents' position, I guess all they want is their children to be happy and well off. Besides, they want this to happen without any objections from the society.

Our society does not permit intercaste marriages, or marriages wherein the childrne walked over their parents responsibilities and chose their own partners.

But, my question is: Who is the society? Society is just an agglomeration of people like me and you. We as human beings derive pleausre out of the suffering of others. And this is a fact. If not all of us, maybe most of us. But, the fact is that humans are saddists in general. If the neighbors daughter eloped with her boyfriend, we would spit on her family. But, if a similar travesty were to be cas upon our own family, we would expect mercy.

People need to start minding their own business. We are no one to judge the actions of others' children. Atleast, we should resist ourselves from throwing mud upon parents who are already in the middle of a tragedy. If we cannot support them in thier hour of need, we do not have the right to mkae things even worse for them. You may reserve your bitterness for their children whose actions collide with your opinions. But, you must not judge the parents who just did everything for all those years to raise their children in an honorable manner.

Sumit,

If I have my say, I would abolish the entire institution of marriage as it installs the rights of reproduction among incompetent people. Only alpha males should have the rights of reproduction and all others should be involved in child raising...LOL This way we will have most healthy offsprings and no hospitals...Laws of nature should prevail in total..then we won't need any govenments.. No law books...walk any where on earth and live any where...

RK Sir!

I dont think males are incompetent just because they are unable to hook-up. They just lack confidence to approach girls. And even if they do, they highlight their low self-esteem before they utter a word.

Girls look for confident, convincing and self-respecting men.

By the way, I agree with you about the whole institution of marriage thing. I think marriage is an institution that has outlived its utility.

The other day I was telling a friend why marriages will stop working very soon. Now a days both the husband and wife are if not equally, very highly educated. A girl definitely did not put 15-20 years of her life at school just to stay back home, make rotis and look after children. Girls are very career-oriented now a days.

There is nothing wrong about it. I think it is perfectly alright for girls to pursue their ambitions just like men do. But the trouble happens when children come into picture.

With both mother and father away from home, working in offices; children have all the time to do the very things that they are not supposed to be doing. Besides, when a child comes back home from school and does not have his or her mother waiting for him with lunch, it has a very negative impact on the child. Children of the future won't be as emotionaly strong in general, compared to children of our and your generation. Mother makes a very strong impact on a childs mental and emotional development.

These are the very reasons why there are so many screwed up marriages in the west. The residue of these screwed up marriages are screwed up children. School shootings, teen preagnancies, drug abuse, child abuse, teacher-student relationships are jsut some of the evils rampant in the western socieities.

At the end of the day, children will realize that they got screwed because their parents screwed up. They will turn away from the notion of marriage. In some european countries, more unwed couples live together than married couples.

I had a serious discussion about this issue with a feelow jatlander not long ago. He totally disagreed with me. I guess he just felt that I do not hold the moral ground to comment on this just because my own activities may contradit my opinions, once in a while. There are certain things about me that very few people know. And I am not embarassed about them, because I highly respect my decision making capabilities.

Similarly I know I will receive a lot of heat for this one. But believe me, when I say something, I say it with all my heart and mind.
