Education is the most important key today for jat girls and other girls too.

So that they can stand their own and be confident of herself.

So that they need not to look on other for her survival and need.(any time whn required).

Indu.

absolutely right indu ji,

education is the most important key for everybody....

either a girl or a boy.....................

of course

Education is very important for all, wether it is boy or girl. When i see the India Shining advertisement in TV, I keep on thinking where India is shining. Till then most of the population of India is uneducated how India shines. Education is the root cause of all the problems wether it is poverty, population, crime etc.

It is true eduation is important for girl as well as boy, but education is more more important for girl than boy. Now a day it is very important that every girl become financially independant. In Indian culture (Religious Book) women/girl is equal to a goddess, but in real life girl life is worst. A girl has to bear a lot in her life. She has to live whole life on the mercy of the men. Now too India has ration 837/1000 ration of girl and boy, yet the parents of the girl has to give dowry for her marriage, just because she is not financially independant. A women has to spend whole life with a sharabi husband bearing his physical & mental torture, just becuase she is not financially independant. A women/girl is consider equal to men/boy, yet she dont enjoy the same freedom as men/boy.

Yes Indu, you are right in ur first post "AAJ KI (JAT) GIRLS" need the education very badly to free themself from this society which force them to live on the mercy of the men.

Dont mind, but truth is truth

This reminds me the saying of one recent Arya Samaji reformer, may of my age group must have known,..Prithvi Singh Be-dhadak. He used to sing a song on girl's education. Two lines which are so popular till this day;

Jab MA pass Chamari ho, LLB Ghasyaari Ho
Tab desh ka naksha badlega......

And on the lighter side here are the views of Jats from Baoli, the famous Jat village nean Barout. Once someone suggested there that there should be a Girl's Postgraduate College in the Village. One elderly man said that the College should be in Shamli and not in Baoli. His logic being that if College is in Baoli, they will be educating their daughters for Shamli area boys and if College is in Shamli, they will be educating the future wives of their sons.....Jat Mind at best....hahahah

Mind without education is nothing just a piece of anatomical hardware. Education is the software and makes this harware useful. Education is a ongoing process. One will always notice bugs even in what we know.

Regards
Rajendra

You are very right Rajindra ji, the need of today is that the girls too should be given proper education. The jats should stand up in every section and at every front in society.

chalo ya sahi he ki education is important for girls...sahi he ...bilkul sahi he...lekin koi girl ye batayegi ki unaka basic purpose kya hota he padai kerne ka...???....sab ye bol rahe he ki education jaroori he..jisase wo usake pairo pe khadi ho sake...ye bhi sahi he....lekin ye baat to sabhi ke liye sahi he aaj ke senario me....fir perticular girls ke liye hi kyon.....speech likh dena alag baat hoti he...usako life me use kerna agal.....
mujhe jindagi ka itana jyada experience to nahi he...lekin itana jaroor jaanata hoon ki girls kitani bhi educated ho ,gents unako kabhi bhi unase ooper bardaast nahi ker pate he....hamare jat samaz me abhi bhi ladakiyo se dowry maangi jati he...
bahoot si families he jo already itani ,economicaly sound he fir bhi ...bhookhe rahate he....ladaki kitani bhi padi likhi ho...kuchh bhi job karti ho...koi firk nahi padata un logo ko...even ...byav ke baad unase job kerne ke liye mana ker diya jata he.....ladak excuse ye dete he ki ....jab me kamaa raha hoon to kya jaroorat he ladaki ko job kerne ki......to fir se ladaki ka educated hona ho kaam hi nahi aaya???....fir...abhi aaap log ye kahoge ki ..kabhi pariwaar ko jaroorat padi to...ladaki yadi padi -likhi he to pariwar ko help ker sakati he....educated he to bachho ki parwarish achchhi tarah se ker sakati he....is modern dociety me kabhi kisi kaam me usako problem nahi aayegi....!!!...ye bhi me maanata hoon...aap log ye batao ki yejo purush pradhaan samaj he he hamesha laddakiyo ko neecha kyon dikhata he.....bade paise wale log padi likhi ladaki isa liye dekhte he jisase ki usani us "society " me naak unchi kerke jii sake...usaki bahu..bahoot saara dahej le ke aaye..car ,banglow...le ke aaye....kya he ye sab...hamare me se kafi log is baat ko achchhi tarah se janate he....yaha ladake us ladaki ko jayada value dete he ..jo "bade" pariwaar se belong kerti he...bahoot padu likhi ho....chahe wo ladaka kaisa bhi ho...lekin usake liye ladaki sundar honi chahiye...ashwarya mafik...hahaha...really very funny.........wo mainly padaki ki education ko to dekhte hi nahi he......poochhenge family background kaisa he......are yaar jindagi ke 40-50 saal ladaki ke saath katega ya ladaki ke saath.....to yaha ladaki ki education ka funda kam value kerta he..mera matlab byav ke case me.....ladaki kisi "bade jack-check "wali family se he to chalega ek baar ......aisa hi he na....yaha aaap logo me se bahoot saare shaadi-suda he...wo khud hi us time ke baare me soch le jab unhone byav kiya tha.......fokat impression mat maaro.......jab khud ki baari aati he to sab pasar jate he......aur laar tapakane lagate he.....me ye baat is liye bol raha hoon kyon ki me khud is situation se gujar chuka hoon....

sorry me jyada hi bol gaya hoon ....aur kya bol diya he ...me bhi clear tarah se explain nahi ker paya hoon .......lekin ultimately mujhe ye hi kahana he ki ...jab aap log padaki ka educated hona pasand karte ho to usaki education ki izzat bhi karna seekho.....me jaanata hoon nahi hota he hamare samaj me aisa.......chahe wo US me chale jaye ya yahi rahe hmare india me.....jat samaj is maamale me to kabhi nahi badal sakata.....yadi koi 1- 2 jane ladaki ki education ko support bhi ker le ek baar aur unase byav ke time pe kuchh nahi mange(dowry) to bhi...baad me jabwo kabhi ye sunate he ki unake kisi jaankaar ki bahu to bhai bahoor saara dahej le ke aayee he to .....kahi na kahi fir se ek baar usano feel to ho hi jata he.....ki hamane bhi dowry li hoti to ...aj ye hota wo hota........are yaar hota kya tum khud is layak ho to khud kamao na.....kyon bhiikh lete ho.....bhiikh hi he ek tarah se ye to.....us tim wo bhoool jata he ki ladaki achchhi he padi likhi he........kaha kaam aayee fir ye ladaki ki education....education to ladako ki honi chahiye....neta giri to bahoot ker lete he.......ye ker lo wo ker lo......khoob bhasan baji ker lete he......lekin jab khud ki baar iaati he to ......

waise me ek baat ye bhi kahoonga ladakiyo ke liye ki chahe wo kitana bhi pad likh le....kuchh bhi job karti ho....lekin hamare ghar ki laaj to ye ladakiya hi hoti he...kabhi wo chahe wo mammy ho,bahan ho ,bhabhi ho........khooob modern bano...lekin ek limit tak hi thik rahata he...ladaki me pade likhe hone ke saath sharam -haya ho to sone pe suhaga wali baat hoti he....usako hamere culture ko nahi bhoolana chahiye....
oh fir se sorry mangata hoon...me actual leak se door chala gaya......lekin jo bhi he bol diya.....a..aa...a.. mera communication style thoda thik nahi he ....so plz...take it easy.....

What Hemant says is very right but what is remedy?
Answer is education.
Education and awerness can bring what Hemant wants.
Keep on.

Dear All,

It is necessary to understand the difference between 'Education' and 'Independence'. And the most important thing is 'Willingness' of the 'Male Samaj' to 'Accept' an 'Independent and Educated Girl', 'Bahu' and 'Bhabhi' etc. I have surely confused you. Let me explain.

What is education? Is it just a degree or much more than that. Long time back I remember an old man telling a few others about a girl who was pursuing Post Graduate studies. When asked as to what is the girl doing, Tau said "Khuchh na, bhyh (Marriage) tanhyi padhai kare se". What he meant was that the girl had crossed marriageable age and was studying for the heck of it. In most villages this mindset prevails, yet there are examples of unexceptional braodmindedness from the most unexpected places.

Is our JAT Samaj ready to accept Educated Independent Girls and Women? Ask yourself and you would get the answer. NO, we are NOT yet ready. Please don't equate the Samaj with 1754 members of this site. However, it does noe mean that we can't make a difference. We will make a difference by setting personal examples. One more thing I would like friends to remember is that we should learn to differenciate between INDIA that lives in the cities and BHARAT that lives in the villages.

Do we involve our girls and women folk in decision making process?
Do we give visible equal opportunity to girls?
Are we ready to accept Girls who say NO to marriage?
Are we ready to accept an outspoken JATNI amongst the so-called-correct-elders?

I can go on and on till cows come home.

Also does education and independence mean giving up our values and age old customs and traditions, even if some of them have no relevanace in present times?

My request to all friends is to implement what we preach in our daily lives. I am very clear that my only niece, despite my younger brother's mild protestations, would be allowed total freedom in choosing her profession, career and future. We would only make her aware of the advantages and disadvantages of different options. We would very much like her to marry a JAT boy, but should she choose otherwise we would not stop her. However, I am not concerned about my being open minded, free and frank but what I dread is the mind set of those with whom she would have to spend her life with.

Regards,

Lt Col JS Malik (Retd)

All folks!!!

1.Girls don't need to do job,n live like a "laxmi of ghar" thats best option if girls are not interested to do job.->sounds of heaven life

2.if girl is highly educated and doing good job but she never feel that i m independent,n feels i am dependent on my husband or uncompleted without my husband-> then its good.->sounds of heaven life

3. if girl feels independent then sounds of chaos, coz girls never can be independent(money n education not everthing).sounds of choas in life.

A. A girl needs to be well educated and supported in a scociety and the she should be given a choice to work or make home.

2.if girl is highly educated and doing good job but she never feel that i m independent,n feels i am dependent on my husband or uncompleted without my husband-> then its good.->sounds of heaven life

A. I am not sure how can you answer for what girls want?

3. if girl feels independent then sounds of chaos, coz girls never can be independent(money n education not everthing).sounds of choas in life.

A. I respectfully don't agree with your thoughts above. Given a good environment and education, every girl can do a good as any other boy.

I completely agree with Indu..that education is neccesary..but more important than that is for the girl to realize the importance of being financially independent. Most the girls are educated by their parents so that they could find a good match for her...ultimately its for the girls to realize the importance of being independent. For that to be possible the whole society should be made aware of this and i do not know what will make this happen! I can only hope that it happens

Education : To acheive self grooming, development, confidence.

Independency: it can be acheived via education as education can provide you financial indepency and further confidence.
