Hard hitting truth about so called minorities and their stone aged religion !!

Hi All,

First of all I'm not a religious person and don't have any soft corner for and hatred towards any cast, creed or religion. But I've been deeply hurt by recents incidents & episodes being carried out by one particular community lately. Yup, I'm talking about Muslims and you all are aware that they have always been getting the benefit of being shown as minorities or so called victims, which is actually not at all truth. I believe Muslims keep their religion above all else .. even before their country, their family and even themselves .. humanity is far cry. Every now and then they prove it by doin' such things. And when few people try to protest, they are declared as extremists, pro-Hindu, RSS supporters or even Saffron terrorists by so called Sickularists.

I come thro' a simple yet eye opening article that depicts nothing but factual truth about the true face of Muslims of India.

Eid Mubarak to them, may some sense prevails in them ..

This article or excerpt is making the same mistake as many others - generalization.

As Atish pointed out, there are rogue elements in every community. But due to the antics of these elements one cant generalize and condemn the entire community. We have short and partial memories. We will applaud the patriotism of APJ Abdul Kalam and the poetry of Javed Akhtar but turn around to question the patriotism of Indian Muslims. We will enjoy Zaheer Khan's swinging deliveries or Azhar's wristy flicks but on watching the news of recent riots, quickly say "Yeh log to hote hi aise hain!"

Is there radicalization in some Indian Muslims? Yes. Can this radicalization be solely blamed on their religion? I am not so sure of that. Islam and its teachings cant alone be responsible for the radicalization and terrorism incidents involving Muslims. There are ample examples of Muslims doing well in their chosen fields in spite of being, well Muslims. A lot depends on the social and economic levels of the people. Muslims, being among the most socially and economically backward in the country inadvertently have a higher susceptibility to indoctrination. Taking things globally, a majority of Muslims live in the world's most volatile regions of the world. So the events happening around them have a major influence in shaping heir actions.

Further, lets not forget that the same religion's people are responsible for many scientific advancements. Many architectural, culinary, mathematical, artistic and navigational inventions and innovations can be attributed to the Arabic golden age. That period saw the Arabs rule an area that stretched from Spain and North Africa to Sindh in the subcontinent. So every region and religion has seen its period of glory and decline.

The overarching point is that one shouldn't solely attribute the ills of a community or a few people to their religion. If such generalizations were extended by others in the world, then perhaps Indians are corrupt and are expert at mismanagement because most are Hindus? The western world is advanced and better governed, because they are Christians? And more specifically for the members of this forum, all Jats are rude, lack academic and communication skills because, well they are Jats. We all know how we feel about that.

i agree with siwachs words that muslim lag in economic nd social sevelopment..the kind of education that they are getting in "madarsas" is just to know about their religion nd islam where they are more diverted to their religion. the tutor there nd their mentors play a big role in carving them as an individual.

they teach them kuran in a very manipulated way nd make them feel that islam is above all religion, treat every other religious person as kaafir, specially hindu..

i think hindu the most liberal religion where u r not strictly restricted to follow any particular tradition..its more of giving freedom as a human being than being hindu.

nd our neighbour country pakistan has always direct influence on muslim activity here..its actually a source of infection or can say nidus of bacterias thats called in medical terms if a disease is chronic and non healing where the infection is coming from some other part nd causing disease smwhere else in body...same is happening in india untill nd unless this source is not treated this so called disease in india will not heal..

whatever riots or terror attacks hv happened in india pakistan has direct involvement nd will always hv in future also..u cant improve muslim community in india as long as it has connection with pakistan.

i think now its time that india should take some strict measures for immigration policies from pakistan and bangladesh nd revise visa terms.
also should revise tha law for terror acts nd it should not be running as usual case nd taking years to come to decision..once the person is found guilty of involvement in terror activities punishment should not be pending..it should be strictly dealt seperately..

now if it is proved that mms were coming from pakistan in assam nd mumbai riots, why india is waiting for pakistan aacept, they will never agree..take action..instead of banning sms perday in india to 5..u should be banning communication with pakistan,nd if u hv proof u can do that, no country will interfere with u..
who interfered with U.S when they charged osama of terror attacks nd shot him in head by entering pakistan even not knowing the country there..

if india is finding pakistan guilty of continious terror attacks nd has enough evidence to prove, gather support from other countries ,take U.N help nd deal strictly.

its now or never situation for india

This chalta hai type attitude among we lazy hindu's is the main reason why the water is above neck now.And that's why we've always been ruled n runned over again n again.

The govt has pampered this only minority community a lot coz of a larger vote bank.

On the contrast you're right, that there are good n bad ppl in every community. But in muslims, the bad ones' overshadows the good ones. And we all would agree on this.

Time to abolish Hindu Law, Muslim Law

If I m not wrong Hindu law , Muslim law come in picture where there is something related to religious customs like marriage n all that jazz .

All indians are judged under one Law of India

" औरंगजेब के द्वारा हिन्दू मूर्ति / मंदिर तोड़ना जायज था"

It was never justified even in all books n by all historians it was condemned so badly

This is what I always say -
Just because every Terrorist is Muslim , that does not mean every Muslim is Terrorist

I guess we should all understand the difference

Mate, this is not generalisation but factual truth and Muslims are not only problem for our country but world over. The gap between Muslims and other communities is increasing day by day, everybody get threatened by them .. reason you all aware .. their religious extremism, stone-aged religion n' practices and the terrorism. They say not every muslim is terrorist .. I do agree but then why most of the terrorists are muslim?

Islam is like a cancer, it'll eventually kill them if they don't introspect and evolve. Sia - Sunni conflicts, suicide bomb attacks in Afghanistan, Pakistan and other middle east countries are some of examples. All religions are evolving with time and getting rid of their bad customs and practices but Islam they just refuse to evolve rather they want it to more conservative and strict .. Talibanism and Sariyat is example for that. There been many examples where they've been protesting to allow Burka, Khizab and other shyte practices. They've been creating problems every where in the world be it whole of their middle east, Russia, China, Europe, Indonesia everywhere. Wherever they go after a while they start demanding shyte rights and other unlawful demands. They issue Fatwa every now and then to anybody who speaks against their religion Tasleema and Rushdie are latest examples. They hate every other religion be it Christians, Hindus, Jews or anyone else for that matter. You talk about backwardness and education, well it's their own choice .. they send their kids to Madrasaa not to schools, who's fault it is? They don't believer in family planing, keep 2-3 wives and dozen of kids, who's fault it is? Even educated lot of them are brain washed too .. how can you forget those tube attacks in London executed by well read even Phd Holders, how can you forget 2008 Mumbai attacks and there are numerous examples that proves you just can't trust them. They still being treated as minorities despite the fact they are more than 20% now and the real minorities like Sikh, Buddhist, Parsi never got anything but they neither demanded.

It may be generalisation for you but such generalisation comes thro' observation. And this is high time we should impose strict martial law to tame these notorious people before they make India another taliban!

Cheers

Wishful thinking brother and am not talking bout fighting or revenge, you got it wrong. I'm trying to prove it's in DNA of muslims to be like notorious and put their religion above all else. We need to have strict law in place to deal with them.

I don't care how they live, what they do with in but if they start to show their real color by disturbing nation's integrity n' peace they should be taught a hard lesson. They are not peace loving people and to deal with it we need iron hand, just like what Modi did. Did any muslim protest there? If they got guts to do it there?

If you remember they tried to create problems here in Australia as well few years back and at that time PM Howard just clearly said to them, look you all are immigrants here and it is a christian country, you wanna live here then you'll have to follow our law and customs. You got any problem with that, you can go back to your country!

So matter of the fact is, we need iron man like Modi to tame these sickheads!

Jit,

There are rogue elements in every society. But hate or fight is not a solution. I am not saying that you are suggesting a fight or revenge. Let the law take its own course. We need to be more practical. Being a practical means that we should not blindly follow any custom or practice which harm our society and waste our energy. In this modern era whosoever invest in science and technology will lead the world. Instead of thinking about these rogue elements, we should focus on how could we progress in future. Things will automatically change if we progress.

The oft-repeated illogical diatribes by some zealots in social media (including this site) against the establishment alleging it with communal bias in favour of one particular religion or the other has started giving a nauseating sense of déjà vu. The debate occupies the centre stage whenever there is communal tension in some part of the country. At the same time the inane homilies and pious plastitudes of the establishment to explain their position is nothing more than a ritualistic praxis. There can be no denying the fact that the situation is grave and cannot be pushed under the carpet. But no one is coming forward with any viable solution of this deep rooted and perennial problem. Before whipping up the communal frenzy and a relentless hate campaign, we must analyse the problem in its historical context. Almost all of us know a little of Indian history. We also know very well how the Islamic invaders made inroads into the Hindu dominated land mass called “Bharatvarsh” and consolidated their empires, eventually uprooting most of the Hindu Dynasties with finesse. The simple answer is the orthodox clergy of Hinduism who could not keep their flock together because of its inherent fallacies and a sharp divide in the name of caste or ‘Varna’. Most of the indigenous Hindu Rulers used to devote major part of their time-table to drinking and womanising under the very patronage of the pious ‘Rajpurohits”. There was a complete disconnect between them and their poverty-stricken subjects. Also, the lecherous and dissolute Hindu kings were deeply divided into small kingdoms and principalities which could not resist the mighty Islamic Invaders. Therefore, it is our own religious leaders and weak rulers who are responsible for the instant problem. The situation is not much different even now and the Hindu religion is fighting for its survival because of this divide. There are hundreds of sects and faiths within Hinduism subscribing to orthodox, superstitious and outdated value system. Hindu society being highly stratified is sharply divided into different classes and categories. But that division is not without any cogent reasons. First and foremost, unlike Islam and Sikhism, Hinduism is not based on the principles of equality and fraternity which is normally the unifying force for any religion. Simply crying foul about other religions is pointless. The second important factor is vote-bank politics. No political party can afford to ignore the sizeable chunk of Muslim votes. Name a single political party which does not have some Muslim faces in its top layer (the saffron flag-bearers included).

In a stratified and class divided society, it is difficult to bind people together simply invoking religious scriptures. Among Hindus there are different strata of people. On the one hand you have Hindus who are masters with wealth and political clout on their side, on the other there are servants - the impoverished people struggling for their survival. Officially, the masters and servants may be reckoned in the same religious bracket for academic purposes but given the inherent clash of interests they will always remain at loggerheads and religions will always remain a fallacy for them. In the same religion you will find quislings, touts and village toughs who trade in votes and work as agents for the corrupt politicians as well as the ordinary mortals who are living in appalling poverty having no access to even basic amenities. For them the religion that helps only a few to flourish is meaningless. Gopal Kanda and the deceased Geetika Sharma’s family belong to the same religion, officially. But can they ever forge ties to further the interest of Hinduism. For Geetika family a poor Muslim living in the neighbourhood is, perhaps, less enemy than a Hindu Kanda.

It is easy to identify and highlight the problem but much more difficult to find a solution. Can our ‘revolutionary brigade’ offer any sustainable formula for solution of the communal violence while keeping the state players outside the purview? This is a macro level problem and in a multi-ethnic country like India, no community can be allowed to flirt with communal fanfare and chaos - be it Hindu or Muslim. The matter should, therefore, be left to the State to sort it out. If the incumbent establishment has failed to contain the rogue elements, people will reject them in the forthcoming elections. But, in a democratic system we have no provision for a direct confrontation or taking the law in hand to undertake ethnic cleansing. If anyone is toying with the idea of ethnic-cleansing, he or she is living in a fool’s paradise. Those who are not satisfied with the present state of affairs have no other option but to wait for the next general elections. They can avail that golden opportunity to replace the erring politicians. I think by that time, they can give some rest to their tensed brain cells to prevent brain haemorrhage.

I dont know brother, I have reservations calling any religion bad when I see positive examples of the same religion. And even the people following the religion are humans with everyday problems like me and you.

There are contradictions everywhere. The same religion can cause people to blow themselves up and the same religion has given the world one of the most beautiful and peaceful religious tradition like Sufi. And even Christianity, especially the Catholic kind, believes in Jesus being the one true God and Christianity being the one and only route to salvation. If one picks up the Bible, one can find numerous things that seem out of place in today's world. And even Christians waged holy crusades to win back holy lands in the middle east from infidels. The slaughter of native Americans was seen as purging them of their backwardness and a necessary evil.

Talking of PhD holders planting bombs, the core Naxal group even today is from middle class families educated in best of the colleges as were the original founders like Kanu Sanyal and Charu Mazumdar alumni of the prestigious Jadavpur Univ in Kolkata. Still they espoused the cause of violence by overthrowing the govt.

At the same time one cant ignore the fact that Muslims are today in the midst of problems in a lot of places in the world. And its true, the people themselves have to take a part of the blame. But more blame rests on those who interpret the religion in its archaic sense and convey the same to the masses. As most people following the religion are backward they are easy targets and prone to manipulation.

Lets take another example. Sikhism, in spite of its peaceful beginnings, totally legitimizes the use of violence to defend a perceived attack on the faith. And undoubtedly it has a militant side to it in current times as seen in the 80s and still visible in the West. But why did it not then self-immolate itself after 1984, often seen as the biggest attack n the faith? Was it govt's hard hand tactics? I think it had more to do with people being economically and socially (to an extent) progressive. People didn't see it as a cause worth fighting for and wanted to carry on with their lives. Indeed more Sikhs were fighting against the Khalistani cause, in the police and the army, than for the cause. So I again think that backwardness is more a problem rather than a religion itself.

I think Indian Muslims today lack leaders and idols. Apart from actors and a few sportsmen there are hardly any people they can look upto when growing up. One Kalam and one Premji are hardly enough real world examples for a 200mn strong community. A poor Muslim kid growing up in a slum or a village needs faces he can see in the news/ TV and take inspiration from. So the onus is even greater on the community's leaders to ensure he follows the correct path. But unfortunately, the imams are more focused on passing idiotic fatwas and securing political mileages than taking care of long term issues plaguing the community. But it also cuts both ways, the society including me and you have to be understanding enough, so that when that poor kid grows up and becomes a colleague we shouldnt look at him with resentment and stereotype him. It will take effort from both sides.

jaspreet what you say about recent Arab revolution are they all poor and uneducated , if not, then why they become the part of civil war like situation.
i think they all are not loyal to their people and even their religion , all them want power which shows their greed

i think they all are not loyal to their people and even their religion , all them want power which shows their greed

Regarding the bold, they are just like anybody else, arent they? Are others any different? Our country doesnt even have a civil war but we have even more greed for power and money.

The poor and backward point is more applicable to Muslims of the subcontinent. I made the comment about volatile areas for the middle east. Hence you are right, they arent all poor and uneducated. In fact most countries which witnessed revolutions had per capita incomes higher than India. I think their civil war are actually a result of positive actions. These countries are all dictatorial in different forms. These revolutions are an effort by the common people to reclaim power from the hand of despots and their cronies. So its actually a positive sign. Whether it leads to a better future, remains to be seen. Fighting a revolution and achieving your goal is one thing, but making sure you satisfy people's subsequent expectations another thing. Egypt and Tunisia are still facing problems implementing democracy even after more than 18 months of the revolution.

One would want to believe and talk what one really want to (like you talk of that martial law shyt a lot here). If you switch on TV today and see some EID news, one news is doing rounds which is about Muslims celebrating EID in a Krishan Temple in Panipat city. Rest is upon one's rational and logical capablity to understand any propagated shyt.
