Dear Members …
Koyal used to get into Chaupal and Chat there from my id confusing people
So I thought it best that she too be a member here with her own identity. Probably she is the youngest member on Jatland.

Ramesh ji… the name of her school is Gurukul… a CBSE board, day-boarding school. It is a blend of our traditional Gurukul system and Public schooling. Timings 9am – 5pm and the day begins with chanting of Shlokas(Sanskrit is introduced from 1st std ).
Koyal too recites many shlokas and some wonderful poems in Sanskrit.
Children till 4th std. sit on mats and each has a writing table.
The food provided is vegetarian and nutritious(all those green vegetables ) … and each child has to clean his/her plate.

The things that children love about the school is… uniform only on Tuesday and Thursday … minimal home-work…
and …
The GURUKUL EXPRESS… the classrooms for 1st – 2nd std. children are … old Train bogies… with the sleepers removed and turned into classroom.

Dear All…
This Koyal is really naughty at times… especially on Jatland.
The smileys she uses … doesn’t listen to me when she writes here… writes whatever she pleases.

And this young Jatni is so enthusiastic … the moment she meets anybody from Haryana.. the first thing she asks is - Are you a Jat? And each time I have to tell her –not everybody from Haryana has to be a Jat.

Yesterday we went to meet someone from Haryana (he is BC and I do not know his caste).
Before leaving, Koyal’s first query was as usual… Is he a Jat too? I told her I did not know, but he is not Jat.
The moment she met this guy, the first thing after greeting was – Are you Jat? He said –No. She just turned to me and said- Mummy, aapka Shaq sahi tha!!! ( thanks to Cartoon Channels… the Hindi words she uses !!!)

Just imagine, how embarrassed I must have been

hope she behaves well here.

Is main Koyal bitiya ki koi galati nahi hai. Acche bade bade yahi samjhte hai ki Haryanavi matlab Jaat. Haryana mai Jaton ke prabhav ka asar hai ye.

Kuch saal pehle ki baat hai Haryana se Chetan Sharma Indian Cricket team main khelte the. To mera ek Maharashtrian dost bolya , dekho ye tumahre Haryana ka Jaat hai, maine kaha par yeh to Sharma hai. To bolya dekha nahi kaisi tadi (pride) main rehta hai aur phir haryana ka hai to Jat hi hoga.
