Is it a correct way to deal with them the way they r doing?

Nishant, this is somthing very serious but i believe that tit for tat is not a solution. Because every aussie is not the culprit & if v ll start punishing innocent people in India then dats not justified. Only those should be taken in account who are involved in this.

But after hearing all these instance of attackes on Indian Students,i am bit surprised dat in Australia why only Indian students are attacked? As there is no reports of attack on working people (who hail from India) or people from any other country.
And somhow i am geeting a feeling dat is it some type of college rivalery or somthing.
I ll really appreciate the comments from fellow JL's on this.

This all is a sad part on humanity ........all this which is done in australia n case came out in india both r not correct.........a human life is being so cheap n unvaluable ..........nothing more to say .

mare vichaar se bharat main jitne austrelian se na , unko invite ker ke special treat deni chahiay aur ye dikhana chahiay ki dekho atithi devtaa hotey hain.fir bhi unko sikhana aur sudharana muskil hey, aakhir haien to "choron ki aoulaad".

Its not abt replying to what happened in Australia 3 days ago. It happens everywhere with indian students ,in Aus.USA,Britane etc...I think the people targeted here are the indian student doing part time job while studying. They do work for less money and for more time. This creates the insecurity among the native people.

As far as rising the concern of this issue at international level,Indai should apply strong ambessadors with strong diplomatic skills to the concerning countries.

racism still exists in many countries, australia is no different. i rate australia among top 5 on racism followed by...

no.1 germany
no.2 south africa
no.3 usa
no.4 india (... jaatiwaad... internal racism)
no. 5. australia

above orders can be changed/altered.

p.s.: my views, no offense to anyone

You r rite bhai!! The problem arises when local people see lots more of Indians/Asian people in their home, they will someway or other retaliate!!!

Let us assume that in our Jatland, lots of Tamils, Mallu etc. become members and they just talk about themselves, try to overtake Jatland, try to overthrow over moderators, how we all will feel? We do the same thing to them!!! We go there to study (though in our country people around the world to come to study) but then remain there and work there (offcourse cheaper rates).

We dont have to go so far for the problem, people who lives or lived in Bangalore/Chennai etc. may feel the same way. The overall general perception of people towards North Indians is not good.

I had an experience in Bangalore: I had a big fight with a local in Banaglore. He was a guard in our society and dont know why always he was angry with us. (My friends who lived wid me). One day we fought hard and as you have guessed Jat thrashed him. He was so pissed off that he started abusing me in Kannad. A near by shop keeper then told me that he was saying that "This is not my country. Go back to my country (North India). I cant live there unless I m a Kannad".

But according to me if somebody tries to say something to you (if you are not at fault) just show them what you are made up of!!! Even if you get injuries in that, those Australians will feel that they should take "panga"
with an Indian!!!

Jai Hind!!!! Jai Haryana!!!!:rock

Dont want to hurt!!!

Bhaiyon,

In my above post I dont want to hurt anybody's sentiments!! They are my personal views without targeting any Indian brother/sister who works in foreign countries.

I know its very difficult to work/study in a new country where many people are hostile to you!!!

So I bow down to all of you who are out of country to earn/study because you people show us how tough we jaats are!!!!

Another Indian Taxi driver attacked in Australia.
Lady, hope this clarifies your doubt.

If you can't match them, catch them.

Aussie might have been killed due to some other factor...please don't try to link it with attacks on Indians.

Australian ploice would register cases....so the attackers go scot free as soon as they appear in court. Mould the law and support your own clan. That's how it works here.

My point is why only Indians? what is d reason behind it. People from other asian countries are also residing in all the countries whom we say are doing racism, but why these people target indians only. I thnk we need a self analysis.

OR we Indians are so weak & vulnerable dat anywhere anybdy can attack us without any genuine reason.

The reason is they guys think that we are snatching their jobs. We r doing far better then those people in their own countries.

In one sentence, i would say Melbourne is a safer city than Delhi, Mumbai or Chennai
These recent attacks are not racially motivated.
In the most recent attack, the attacker and the attacked had liquor together and were part of a Drink Party attended by some Indian and local Ausee neighbors!. There was some fighting after the booze as usual. There was nothing racial.
On an average, one young Australian dies every week in the drink related violence.
Most Indian students are attacked in the late night by drunks and druggies for money. Now questions why only Indian cabbies and students. The answer lies in the fact that mostly late night traveler by public transport are the Indian students returning from work.
Can any body guess about the % of Indian taxi drivers in Melbourne?
Safest estimate could be 70-80%, mostly young north Indian and high % from Punjab with not very good Communication skills. Many a times their not so appropriate behavior also invites trouble.
There are lots of incident in the recent past when some old but natives were attacked for money.
The recent incidents have been blown out of proportion by Indian Media!

I am sure some one like Vivek Pannu, who lives in Melboune will also come up with similar views.

please go through this:

Tit for Tat is not the best solution , I fail to understand how people can be that crude with the mindset.
