Hum logon nein ( humare purvajon nein ) jo sarv khap ke jhande tale panchyat ki fauj tayyar ki thi , vo Taimur ki parajay ka karn bani thi kuch Bhai yahan sabbot maang rahe hai Harveer singh Gulia se bada saboot kahi nahi ho sakta hai jo 21 saal ki umar mein vo kaam kar gaya jo aur kissi se nahi hua. Ijaat ke liye aaj bhi hum se kattar koi nahi hai aur aaj ka media bhi is baat ko manta hai chahe unka batane ka najariya kaafi uddasin hai.

सुमित भाई कुछ लोग यहाँ पर केवल पत्थर मारने आते हैं | उनको कितने भी सबूत दे दो वो उनको मानते नहीं | उनको जाट गर्व ,भाईचारा, सम्मान आदि से कोई लेना देना नहीं हे | इस प्रकार के लोग नकाराताम्क सोच के स्वामी होते हैं और इस्सी प्रकार जीवन पर्यंत अशांत हो कर जीते हैं | मुझे तो शक हे की वे जाट हैं भी की नहीं ,कंही नकली आई.डी. बना कर घूशे हुए अन्य जाती के लोग हो सकते हैं जो जट्टों से जलते हैं |
 
It is great motivation for the present generation to belong to a great race. However, for me, Jats' perception today has two very distinct flavours. One perception is that of gutsy, straight talking and hard working folk who will lay down their own life for someone else's sake. This one is extrapolated from history. The other one is that of a rough talking, not-so-bright mentally rustic, devoid of sophistication. This general perception is happily peddled in cities like Delhi/NCR by other races and communities.

I have Jats as some of my best friends and brothers for over 30 years now and I am every bit proud of them. Being a sikh, I have been so frequently the butt of their jokes but I have loved every moment of the boisterous times we have shared all these years. But, they have loved me more than any other sikh friend I ever had. I love my state Haryana and its people, Jats, whether you were born one or not.

However, coming to the central point of this topic, I am no fan of the state I find Haryana's villages in today. Filth everywhere. Poor healthcare. Poor education. Whenever I travel through Haryana e.g. on Jajhar-Dadri-Loharu route for example, save for the villages clower to Rajasthan, the scene is pathetic. Time has stood still in these parts.

The point I am making is that a race is as great as its abode and its least common denominator. Jats on this account have not done too well. We have failed to create a great race that God almighty has gifted with the most fertile land, warm blood and the moral high ground of Swami Dayanand and Arya Samaj. We are busy ruining our great legacy, busy smelling the metaphorical desi ghee on our palms. If our khaps take pride in being a parallel government by themselves, they need to look around and take responsibility. For instance, let the Samast Dahiya Khap make sure that all Dahiya villages are model villages and every Dahiya is educated, medically cared for and well-settled, and no girl child is killed at birth and no woman raped. These factional set ups have too long been exploited by the low life and the politicians for their lust and greed.

Enough hedonism. Brethern, we are on your way to extinction.

The world thinks of Jats no better than it used to 30 years ago.

हमारे जाट इतिहास को इतने भारी-भरकम थोपे गए ऐतिहासिक सूरवीरों कि जरूरत नहीं है आप और महिपाल जी तो पूरा इतिहास ही बदले दे रहे है

In history perhaps we are mentioned as brave race, however times have changed and all that good words from Alexander and other people does not stand legit, today if you ask about Jats as a race, people build up an image of illiterate guy with lathi and funny accent. Lack of development, antagonistic attitude towards education and irrational reliance on public sector jobs from village youth has not helped the case either. villages are the heart of our race and if they will keep resisting the adaptation of modern social laws....we will lag behind the rest. Timely modernization is the key for our race right now, if missed, our mention will just remain in extinct history books and this thread!
Perhaps am not the most informed person when it comes to news from our states, however, i do not believe we have been on good side of publicity in recent past, whether its unlawful acts in desperation of being OBC or honor killings or unimpressive sex ratio in Haryana. I hope picture will change in coming times and we will also find our due place in developing society.
