Took a little (lot?) while to grasp the story :D.......

the punch lines:

1) You only get better by playing a better opponent

Waited 10 yrs. for the Technology to catch up!!!...

You will find humor, action and a message.....and a dream may be....:)..

Hmmm....will have to go watch this one for sure!...(Once the mania dies down a bit and one can actually step into a theatre without crazy/hysterical folks scrambling over each other to get in.....;))

...and by the way apart from (or more astonishing) than the $380 mill. plus price tag on the movie, there's another piece of most interesting tit-bit:

James Cameron turned down a chance to make “Avatar” for Twentieth Century Fox more than a decade ago to wait until technology caught up with his imagination. [Wohooo...I like that! :rock]

“Avatar” was shot using a dual-camera 3-D system that Cameron, 55, invented with partner Vince Pace after the director’s 1997 success with “Titanic,” the all-time top-grossing film.
Apparently Executives at Fox, (the studio that had also backed “Titanic,”) were willing to start work on “Avatar” almost right away after the huge success of the oscar winning movie...

Cameron didn’t think the technology was ready. He teamed with Pace, who specializes in making film equipment for tough locations, and spent 10 years developing a camera system that mimics the human eye to add realism to 3-D imagery. “Avatar” btw also is Cameron’s first feature film since the hugely successful “Titanic.”

Now that's what I call having a drive for something....for your dreams....... whew!!! :):):)

True true true !

I took my glasses off few times to see how i feel if its not 3-D....nd ye no point watching it without 3d.
