Movie about an orphan gal fond of reading who was given to a family for adoption . Movie was of Holocaust - Germany Hitler World War 2 . So many beautiful scenes . Geoffery Rush calling the gal " The Majesty " on 1st meeting , Jew asking gal to describe the day , kids singing German Anthem ( anthem lyrics talks about anti jew ) , Rudy n gal yelling they hate Hilter , Leisel telling a story about her Jew Friend to other people when they were hiding , Leisel trying hard to hide secret that they were hiding a Jew , etc . Like any other holocaust movie people try to live normal life in abnormal times . Amazing acting by Lesiel ( orphan gal child ) and Rudy ( her friend ) . For a viewer watching a Holocaust movie is like it would end in tears and some tragedy . Tears were there - tragedy obviously but there was a happy ending as someone came back for that little gal .
Also I like the pronunciation of words " No like Naieee something " , " And like Und " .....Story was told by a narrator which was really good introduction of gal ......tragedy at climax .

Overall delight to watch .........kids can watch however I would strongly recommend Adult Supervision

Super Amazing Movie . I m not much fan of Sci Fi stuff but it was a super delight . Move goes with a smooth flow .......keep viewer on toes what next . End is neither sad nor happy . Falling in love , 1st fight n breakup with some OS amazingly shown . Concept of using Surrogate as OS is feeling inferior not to have body remarkable idea . Confusion of both OS n hero is pretty well shown . Phoenix great work done .

Shows coming age of Programmed Conscious.....

Must watch ........not for minors

Some times back I read an article about Oscar ........2 Subjects are sure win as Nominee or Academy Award : 1- Tragic treatment with Black ( Slavery .....etc ) 2- Germany Holocaust .

What I wondering so many movies made ......stories told ......still countless left to be heard.

I like most is the dialogue By Solomon when he returned back to family ......No thanks ......Love you .....miss you speech rather an " Apology "

Same old Story .....predictable twists . Over acting by both . Something strange in almost every scene if one laughs other laughs too , if one throws punch flying other one too , dressed also same .......they are friends not identical twins . Irfan Khan is okay ......he must stop doing such cliche rolls someone with great potential all wasted . Saurabh Shukla and other cop junior to Irfan few scenes but good work . Priyanka.......role is confused ......dancer / lover / sympatiser / cop .....

Arjun and Ranveer both okay actors but in movie almost every scene they overacted .

Full time waste
 
The Art of Steal ( 3 on 5 .......1 mark for Kurt Russel after long time funny role & some funny dialgues )

Fine story seen many better movies .......predictable twists . I liked Jay & Terence most .....funny dialogues.... like Terence being sarcastic to another inter pol , Jay being surprised on finding Interpol exists , One more from Jay about his Arms and Prison rape ( I even spilled my coke over it ) , Negotiation on taking a dive , Jay crossing the border .

Good time pass .

The Stoning of Soraya M., One Iranian Movie that will shock you to the core and leaves your soul crying.

This film is breathtaking beyond words. It honestly left me speechless. I struggle even to put this review into words. It show's the brutal reality of abuse and discrimination in a powerful way. The tears in the eyes of Soraya's children after she is publicly executed. The anger in the eyes and hearts of the men as they kill her. A lot could be said of the stunning performances, the brilliant writing etc. But this movie has something that goes far beyond entertainment and artistic value. It gives a glimmer of hope to those suffering this kind of abuse through out the world. It takes a megaphone to a sleeping culture and says "You shall not be forgotten".

Highway – 4 on 5

Super Delight to watch the movie every thing was in place . Watching Ali movie means 2 things for sure one among the couple …..dhh would realize later that he / she in love and Happy ending with Couple being together by the end ( 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] thing was changed with passing of Heroine in Rockstar ) .
This is entirely new …….its not love story rather a connection between 2 people from 2 different world one thing common something too miserable in their pasts…..which they can not let go . Alia Superb….2[SUP]nd[/SUP] movie and she did brilliant …..RH was indeed good – command over typical Gujjar dialect ( possibly coz he is from Haryana ) . Dark , guilty conscious …….afraid to dream about a better life coz of bad past ------amazing . There is one scene of RH …..where he acted like some helpless fellow & everything better is waiting ……but so afraid …….He did GREAT . So many scenes rather in every scene there is something . Transition of crying hostage to happy hostage was too fast ……..did not look awkward rather like some deep desire which comes on surface with favorable situations . Great locations……beautiful view ( those who travelled ….can easily relate to those places ) .
With 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] half curiosity increases about how would movie end ……typical Bollywood ……Hero- Heroine together or how . But ending was very practical though very sad .
I liked the idea of No Songs …….( background songs only ) . There was gun shot during end ……it was so clear like hearing in a close room ……..shows it was so silent n then boom.

There is something of Child Abuse ( those who planning to watch with kids please care )

PS : In beginning there is a Ragini ( background ) …….made me think movie might be shot somewhere in Haryana but not

More than expected…….Must Watch N number of times

SUPERB! She delivered long shots with multiple expressions and no where will you feel she over acted

I am really surprised at the divided opinion Highway has generated. Some have really liked it while some have completely trashed it especially Alia and Hooda's performances. I plan to watch it soon and figure it out for myself.
 
Highway – 4.5 on 5. (An extra half for Alia Bhatt)
It is a film about nature and travel; about a meandering journey without a definite destination. About flowing with the flow of your heart. It doesn't try hard to make a statement.
Brilliant Cast.
The Audio of Rahman is a delight to savour and fulfills all expectations. Marvelous and Melodious!

Story about miracles-magic-destiny-angels etc . It reminds me of a quote something like " Believe as if everything is a Miracle or nothing is a Miracle ".
1st Half wonderful ...good naration....well connected scenes ....everything of a Absolute Beautiful Love Story . Collin Farel good...his looks really helped...first of his Romantic role ( I may have missed others if any ). Russel Crowe .... better with negative roles . Many good scenes ....1st meeting of heroine- hero ....Little Villa about some fairytale kiss ....Calling White Horse as Dog by Russell ...Argument of Lucifer with Russell ..almost whole of 1st half .
Needed more drama in 2nd half ..... more struggle.....movie could have been better then IMO

Nice story, light on humor and touches an important note of how men exploit women in today's context

Kangana WoWed me. I have never liked her before this movie.
