VP Ji, noone asked you to support Modi or for that matter Rahul Gandi, it was poll conducted by the agency and result were put here to discuss. Why Modi is preferred over Rahul Gandi? Why people feel a need to change the govt but your post given this thread a different look as we are supporting BJP/Modi and opposing congress? Nobody is saying Modi will be next PM. It was your wrong assumption that people are supporting BJP/MOdi.
Now, please come back to topic and lets discuss the main issue.

Fateh sir,
As we say that no political party is good, than we don't have any option but to put the country under Army rule, which will not be better in long run , i m sure.
Now the people/Leaders who are associated with BJP are the one's who willfully opted for a weak party that means they oppose the thinking of Congress or its leaders , so it means they have a will to do things differently.
I agree, there will be a couple of opportunists there also who might get busy in making money but that would be definitely less than what congress has done to country in last 52 years of Rule.
BJP leaders will be having in mind that they need to perform otherwise they may not get in power in another 10 years, so this will be their chance to leave a very good image in people's mind if BJP wishes to be in power in the next term.
Plus we all know that the last government term of BJP was 6 years full of progress. I hardly remember any SCAMS (i may be wrong), and its not only that Mr Atal bihari vajpayee was there, they had some other good people too.
Last but not the least if BJP is just 50%(not 100 or 1000%) better than Congress than atleast India will see 50% better opportunitites than today. Than probably we will see any other leader or good party arising.
We can't see a drastic change at the blink of an eye, we have to Improvise year over year.

NRI तो पंजाब में भी भतेरे सै , इस राज्य का नाम तो लोवे धोरे बी कोणी प्रगति में ..अर पंजाब की धरती भी बेहद उपजाऊ है ..!!
यानि के हम कह सकते हैं के मोदी ने जबरदस्त काम किया है सिस्टम को efficient बनाया है ! और आज हमे कुछ ऐसे ही नेता की जरुरत है !

Time and again, on various threads u give a bright ''shadow'' of being a ''Kattar'' Congressi (there is nothing bad in endorsing a party, but one can atleast be rightful in that) but i must admire your jugglery with language to twist the topics ..but don't worry we catch u well..!!

Modi is preferred to Rahul because he is a better and tested administrator in comparison to Rahul who is still raw in politics.
People's feeling for a change is legitimate as the present government has failed to deliver upto their mark. Therefore, people's aspirations for a change are legitimate.
CPM and Congress are two distinct parties. It is a pity that educated people like you are not able to distinguish between the two. Time and again I have made it amply clear that I have all along been a left sympathiser and the left has always distanced themselves from the BJP. CPM and other left parties had only a tactical alliance with Congress just to keep BJP at Bay and that alliance is now well nigh over. I hope that sums up my political orientation. So, let me make it clear again and you please note somewhere that I am still a left sympathiser. Is it clear???

भाई पन्नू पंजाब आले NRI बचत घाट करैं सै, खा पी के बल्ले बल्ले कर देवें सै आर ये गुजरात आले NRI की बचत का remittance गुजरात में बहुत ज्यादा है I दूसरी बात यह है कि गुजरती NRI अधिकांश उद्दमी हैं और उनके पास पैसे का ब्योंत वैसे भी पंजाबी NRI से कहीं ज्यादा है और उस बचत का एक बड़ा हिस्सा वे गुजरात में निवेश के लिए भेजते रहते हैं I ऊपर से वे कंजूस ज्यादा होते हैं, सीधा सादा जीवन यापन करते हैं और ढोकला खा के गुजारा कर लेते हैं I वैसे भी उनमे कोए दुसरे एब नहीं होते जैसे नाच -मुजरे देखना या डिस्को बगैरा जाना I मैंने तो सुना है के वे बेचारे तो इतने सादे हैं कि अपनी बीबी को भी बहन कह कर पुकारते हैं I उनका सारा ध्यान पैसा को multiply करने में ही रहता है I इसके आलावा गुजरात में हीरे का धंधा, और पोर्ट सुविधाए भी अच्छी हैं जो वहां के राजस्व में अच्छा योगदान कर रहे हैं I पोर्ट सुविधाए एवं अन्य अनुकूल परिस्थितियों के कारण राज्य में निवेश काफी अच्छा है और जाहिर है कि पैसे से विकास होता है I
फिर भी ऐसा नहीं है कि गुजरात में गरीबी है ही नहीं I आप लोगों ने अहमदाबाद, सूरत, वडोदरा और भावनगर बगैर की चमक-दमक देखी होगी I कभी दूर दराज़ के गावों में भी जाकर देखना I यों तो लोग कहते हैं कि केरल के गाँव सारे देश में सबसे अधिक आधुनिक सुविधाओं से लैस हैं , लेकिन वहां तो मोदी नहीं हैं I और हालत पंजाब की भी इतनी ख़राब नहीं हैं जितना आप लोगों ने वर्णन कर रखा है I खेतों में आलीशान बंगले खड़े हैं वहां भी I हाँ यह सही हैं कि बादल परिवार ने वहां की अर्थव्यस्था का बेड़ा गर्क करने में कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ रखी I
निष्कर्ष यह है कि मोदी भाई साहब काम करने वाले आदमी हैं, किस्मत के धनी हैं परन्तु गलत पार्टी में हैं I

Vpji, App sahi party batao konsi hai, 2014 mein vote utte jaga.
It is though too early to predict but a third force comprising parties other than Congress and BJP would emerge on the Indian political horizon. You can vote for that third front.

Same perception was about Vajpayee that he is in a wrong party. Vajpayee proved to be one of the best PM that India ever had, (corroborated by Poll on Best PM on this very site) . Precedence was set by Vajpayee Ji, Modi, given the same perception, can be a good bet.

:rockVikas, no doubt Vajpayee was a thorough gentleman and a great statesman but, I find Modi even better as an Administrator and a pragmatic politician. But the mainstream national party he belongs to does not have a concrete programme to salvage the country from the quagmire, except that time and again they have been raking up the highly unproductive Mandir/Masjid issues which are of no consequence to the poverty stricken country confronted with some other real issues. How a person like Modi would be able to contain the communal and saffron renegades, is a matter of conjecture.Same perception was about Vajpayee that he is in a wrong party. Congress mein hijdo ko shashan dene ki padyati hai. Is party mein naam bhale hi kisi ka bhi ho raj sirf Nehru/Gandhi pariwar ka raha hai. Wo kisi bhi aise ko gaddi kyon sonpenge jo sabse pehle inko hi fansi pe latkaye. Inse bada desh mein koyi bhrat aadmi nahi hai aur ab ek aise pradhan mantri ki avshyakta hai jo inko mudha maar de. Koi bhi congressi neta jiska kad Nehru parivar se upar uthne laga use ya to kinare laga diya ya fir maut ki neend sula diya. Manmohan aur Hooda jaise talwe chatne wale kutto ko hi Sonia ke darbar mein jagah milti hai. Ya fir kalmadi jaise jo kama kama ke inka ghar bhar dein aur iljaam apne sar le lein.
