National interest

The civilian nuclear deal was something which any country would die for.
Pakistan begged for it but was not granted.

CPM which choses to lick the feet of chinese (who backstabbed us in 1962) has successfully sabotaged the deal.

And the whole nation is mute spectator.

After all who is bothered about national interest or national pride or national shame. We are more bothered about the extra bucks we can earn today.

We think we do enough patriotism by jumping madly in a cricket stadium. That is the best we can do. Shame on us.

The tragedy of this country is that the educated chose to be quiet.

Chinese writings interpreted the nuclear deal as a realisation of India's 'great power dreams', as the key to unlocking the door to India's entry into the big league of world politics.....This our communist will never like...
The death of the deal "would confirm the widely-held belief in China's national security establishment that despite its recent economic strides, India remains a 'weak state characterised by abject poverty, and religious, political and regional faultlines' that is no match for China.

Navin Bhai,
Sahi kaha aapne.
It is a win -win situation for both India and US.
Hopefully people in India would not forget this by the election time....

On a side note. Juliani, Ex NY mayor, who is running for President elctions has recomened to expand NATO to include India, Singapore and Australia.

Dear members,it is all drama going on.....as i said earlier also INDIA can ill afford to commit suicide on this issue....Deal is on and it will be signed 100%.These politicians[both sides] are playing games.I am sure of this.

I am also of mind that manmohan will sign the deal at any cost eventually. all this ruckus is probably created to avert people's attention from other failures of the govt. like inflation and quota.

wish it is so
because the PM is horribly outnumbered.
For others the personal, political benefit supercedes the national interest by a million times.
the left is a chinese puppet.

yesterday manmohan was in other mood as one can make out from the news on air. the deal will be signed. but the surd's statement to bush on hassle in it is a big shame in anycase and of course a big damage to the country's leadership that such big people also retract words. bloody bastards.

If allowed, Left parties would drag the country to stone age. Problem with these major decisions are that it could be done if the ruling party is in full majority. It rarely happens in India. Here this time, though a rare event, Congress high command has taken a good decision to go by this N-Deal but these coaltion parties won't allow it. I hope the next election would bring a full majority ruling party.

Waise bhee yeh left walon ko Bengal se bahar nahin nikalney dena chahiye. Usko hee narak bananey do...desh ko nahin!

Lots of debates have been going on at all sorts of places on this subject. If our aim is to have just another debate, I feel its waste of time. Those of us who feel for the nation, let us gather at India gate with playcards in support of the deal. I am 10% sure our movemn et will gather momentum till its non political. Let Navin lead all those who wish to join. I am for action and not just empty debates..

RK sir, I wouldnot mind sitting on a hunger strike too. Let us do it. I am in. When do we start?

When the whole country feels otherwise then how can we allow left to sabotage the deal.

Why is the BJP not supporting the deal? All parties who feel national interest comes first should support the deal accross party lines.

my number is 9810245996, let us go and do it.

I suggest following;

1. Let us get stickers on our cars supporting nuclear deal. WE stick the same on as many cars as we can.

2. Let us gather in small groups at some strategic locations around parliament.

We might have to do it almost on daily basis till our movement gathers steam and common man joins us. Let us begin in a small way from tomorrow itself. All we need are just 10 pepple standing in line, let us say along a small segment of parliament street with banners in our hand. Think of a suitable banner ..

Time has come when we have to create pressure groups if we want some action. Let there be issue based pressure groups.

one slogan

"I support nuclear deal,
I support INDIA"

I appeal to all members to please stick above slogan on their car and where ever they can. Let us reach as many people as we can. Try to come with innovative slogans which catch public eyes...

this sounds appealing and workable option ... sir stickers in flex / vinyl could be printed ... costing around 1000 rs.for 100 -200 stickers .. of around 5 x7 size ... where that has to be seen ???

making and distributing stickers from one place would be difficult to coordinate. I suggest that we rite the slogan on a white sheet and stick it at the rear wind shield of car.

plz go ahead. it reminds me of RDB, too much inspired by that movie, my anthem. i am with you. though i can't join you in any sitting or protest due to the oaths we media fellows have to sign to not to indulge overtly. but i assure i will give your moemtum all due coverage. ha ha

Sasta..sundar...tikaoo kaam hai. And moreover it would look more authentic.
