RIDDLES -- Dimag ki batti jalao

Reasonableness

Please don't go beyond reasonableness. You talk about a probability but at the same time you should kept in mind the following issues:
1. You talks about thickness of line but never talk about the distance between dots
2. Definition of a line : Line is a path of dot. Hence thickness of dot and line will change simultaneously.
yeap!! that's the ans.... u r a gem....
now this is in for devender: ( i figured this out while pursuit of more practical ans)
another ans to this prob can be to have a line thicker enough to cover all the dots in one go.
how about this one..... sanjeev

have a look and try very simple ans is hide inside qusetion only

An outdoorsman walks out of his cabin, and goes out to check on his land. First, he walks ten kilometers south to a road and does some maintenance work on it. Then, he walks ten kilometers east and shoots a bear . Finally, he walks ten kilometers north and ends up back at his cabin.

The question: what color was the bear?

Now try this

Imagine you are in a room with 3 switches. In an adjacent room there are 3 lamps which are on a regular table - all are off at the moment, each switch belongs to one lamp. It is impossible to see from one room to another. How can you find out which switch belongs to which bulb, if you may enter the room with the lamps only once?

No help from anybody else is allowed.
Find out which switch belongs to which lamp - identify all 3 switches.

Its White.. Am I correct?

Dharampal ji very simple,
switch ON one switch for a while and than switch OFF this switch and ON the next one. Now go inside and see , the bulb which is ON, pertains to the switch which was switched ON at last. Just check the temp of remaining two bulbs, the warm one pertains to switch which was switched ON at first, and the last one pertains to the untouched switched. I hope, this way u can identify the switches and connected bulbs.

Will need a globe to explain it more clearly but the guy has to be on north pole for him to move south, east , north and find himself back at his starting position without moving west.. Since you only find polar bears on north pole and they are white, so the bear is white....

Ya , Sandeep very correct, but explain it for others too

What color of his cap?

An employer conducts an intelligence test to select an appropriate candidate for job. There were three candidates. The employer shows them 5 caps; three white and two black. He asked them to look another side and put one cap on the head of each of them. Now the candidates are required to tell the color of cap on his head. The situation is:

· One cannot see the color of his own cap or of the caps remained with the employer but can see the caps on the others head.
· The employer put all the white caps on the heads of the candidates and retained both the black.
· Everyone is confused to see the white caps on the heads of both the other candidates

After a few moments, one of them vehemently told that there is white cap on his head. The employer selects him.

Now, you are required to explain, how he came to the conclusion that there is white cap on his head?

What a quick response !

Dear friends the puzzle is good one and not very simple. In your case either:
  • you are gem, or
  • you have already face the puzzle, or
  • you have taken help of net.......

Dear Dharampal ji, I am an electrical Engineer by profession and the puzzle was from my own subject, may be, thatswhy i could get it correctly. otherwise this was the first encounter with this puzzle, Moreover i take little bit interest in puzzles.

This is quite ordinary and popular puzzle now a days. Its a polar beer. The situation blongs to north pole only. I mean going south then east and than north and u reach same place. Similarly u can make a puzzle for south pole.

I have solved a puzzle long back which was little similar to this one. But still it took me more than 20 mins but i got the solution finally. It was quite interesting. Pour more suc puzzles.

Here there may be 3 combinations.
W --- B --- B
1 --- 2 --- 3
Here, 1 will shout immidietly.

W--- W--- B
1----2----3

Here, candidate 1 or will find out coz if 2 is not shouting coz he is not shouting so he is confused because he can 1 black and 1 white but thre can be only 2 blacks so he finds out hez cap is white coz if it is black then 2 will shout out his color immdietly.

Now, as per the sitution

W --- W --- W
1 --- 2 --- 3

Here, the guy duidn shout immidietly this is imp consideration. Suppose candidate 1 shouts. Now, 1 can see that 2 and 3 ar white so his color may eithr be black or white but if it is black then the solution is explained above i mean either 2 or 3 shud shout. Now, no one is shouting so he will com to know that 2 and 3 are confused about their own colors coz hie(cand 1 ) his own color is also white. So, he shouts.
Similary 2 or 3 may also shout using the same logic.

Some similar puzzle about the colour of a bear.

A bear has fallen from a height of 10 meters.
It took square-root of 2 seconds for it to fall on the ground
Now can you tell me the COLOR of the bear based on this information?
