Sant rampal is flaunting his strength now a days, embarrassing force. Even after so many court order, he is still defiant, protected by self appointed army of black commandos and many locals with sophisticated weapons.
the only detail I have about this saint that he belongs to dhinana village of rohtak, and in past his followers clashed with arya samaji. In the clash , few killed and many injured. Is he a jat? Anyone having some detail info about this person, please share

हरियाणा में संत रामपाल दास महाराज को लेकर कुछ ऐसा कोहराम मचा है कि स्थानीय प्रशासन की नींद उड़ी हुई है. संत समर्थक और पुलिस बल आमने-सामने हैं. एक किसान के घर में जन्मे रामपाल की खातिर सैंकड़ों लोग अपनी लाश बिछाने को तैयार हैं. एक नजर संत रामपाल के जीवन पर-- सोनीपत के गोहाना तहसील के धनाना गांव में रामपाल दास का जन्म हुआ.
- पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद रामपाल को हरियाणा सरकार के सिंचाई विभाग में जूनियर इंजीनियर की नौकरी मिल गई.
- नौकरी के दौरान रामपाल की मुलाकात 107 साल के कबीरपंथी संत स्वामी रामदेवानंद महाराज से हुई. रामपाल उनके शिष्य बन गए.
- 21 मई 1995 को संत रामपाल ने 18 साल की नौकरी से इस्तीफा दे दिया और सतसंग करने लगे.
- संत रामपाल के अनुयायियों की संख्या बढ़ती चली गई. कमला देवी नाम की एक महिला ने करोंथा गांव में बाबा रामपाल दास महाराज को आश्रम के लिए जमीन दे दी.
- 1999 में बंदी छोड़ ट्रस्ट की मदद से रामपाल महाराज ने सतलोक आश्रम की नींव रखी.
...और विवादों में घिरते चले गए संत रामपाल महाराज
2006 में स्वामी दयानंद की लिखी एक किताब पर संत रामपाल ने एक टिप्पणी की. आर्यसमाज को ये टिप्पणी बेहद नागवार गुजरी और दोनों के समर्थकों के बीच हिंसक झड़प हुई. घटना में एक शख्स की मौत भी हो गई. इसके बाद एसडीएम ने 13 जुलाई 2006 को आश्रम को कब्जे में ले लिया. रामपाल और उनके 24 समर्थकों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया. 2009 में संत रामपाल को आश्रम वापस मिल गया.
संत रामपाल के खिलाफ आर्यसमाज के लोगों ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट का दरवाजा खटखटाया. कोर्ट ने उनकी याचिका खारिज कर दी. 12 मई 2013 को नाराज आर्य समाजियों और संत रामपाल के समर्थकों में एक बार फिर झड़प हुई. इस हिंसक झड़प में तीन लोगों की मौत हो गई, करीब 100 लोग घायल हो गए. अब इसी मामले में संत रामपाल को पंजाब और हरियाणा हाईकोर्ट में पेश होना है.
5 नवंबर को पंजाब-हरियाणा कोर्ट ने संत रामपाल के खिलाफ गैर जमानती वारंट जारी किया. 10 नंवबर को संत रामपाल को कोर्ट में पेश होना था, लेकिन संत के समर्थकों ने रामपाल को अस्वस्थ बताकर, गिरफ्तारी का आदेश मानने से ही इनकार कर दिया और संत रामपाल कोर्ट में पेश नहीं हुए. अब कोर्ट ने बाबा के लिए 17 नवंबर की सुबह 10 बजे का अल्टीमेटम दिया है. नए वारंट के साथ, कोर्ट ने पंजाब-हरियाणा सरकार और प्रशासन को भी बाबा के लिए फटकार लगाई है.

Yeah bhai, I had the same question in mind. But I am sure he deliberately used it in JEST and it does make (use of the term, "SAINT") a good and provocative ATTENTION GRABBING headline. I found this to be FUNNY and a USEFUL WRITER's TRICK.

Hinduism seems to offer LOWEST BARRIER TO ENTRY for all the wannabe and aspiring GODMEN. Easiest to become Baba shabba in Hinduism.

Btw, reminds me of another thread on Akbar. Even he tried to become the Godman in the later years of his life through his DEEN-E-ELAHI. I mention this because that topic is currently being discussed.

Business of religion is evergreen, low-cost, where paddlers of salvation sell the product of "afterlife" which they do not have to deliver in this life. For all other products, if the seller promises to deliver something and fails to deliver it, then they can be charged for the fraud, they can also be charged for the false advertising, amazingly there are no such charges against paddlers of only-faith-based prophecies (sans verifiable rational evidence). One can propagate any nonsense in the garb of faith, and it goes unchallenged in the name of religious tolerance. Indulge in any convoluted debauchery, call it faith/religion/sect, as long as one can collect enough fools/followers. Once they have the critical mass, they become untouchable as in invincible/infallible/unquestionable.

Tolerance should be tolerance of FREEDOM OF SPEECH, FREEDOM of EXPRESSION but that does not mean such baba shabba or any other faith must go unchallenged.

We can respect others right to believe in any nonsense/BS, but we do not have to respect the nonsense/BS they believe in.

1 number ka ghatiya insaan.......karontha gaon me iska ashram tha, udde te e iski poll khuli thi........jab us time main b tha us rolee me (kyuki mere gaam (Simli) dhore h iska aashram).

Akhir kisi Jat ko jo pakadna h. Sant Rampal dusre Sant Jarnail Singh Bhinderwale sabit honge.

I never understood why mobs of people run after other people(Babas) in search of Truth? Do it yourself, why spend thousands n lakhs of rupees n lie down in their feet? Anyone questioning them immediately becomes an enemy of the religion itself. Though, these babas always talk of moh-maya-mukti etc, n yet will hide behind supporters, moving in z-plus security. The high court bench said Rampal should be "smoked out even if he is hiding in a bunker". Let the Haryana state implement the orders of the court, whichever way they do it. N we should refrain from calling the types as saints. Yes, if the court would address them as saint, I would amend myself.
