ravhi bhai.. by haryanvi i meant.. the language... jaat log speak haryanvi... so i said.. ki this section sud only be for haryanvi jokes....:) ... u took it wrong way.. or maybe i wasn't good enough to deliver the msg! ... whtevrz the case... i hope we'r on the same page now..:)

This is for the simple reason that this site is oriented towards Jats and you can read non jat jokes (especially Sardar jokes) at thousands of other sites on the web.
I am putting up a poll, and it will last 15-20 days after which we will decide which side's opinion is stronger.

bhai,satyeshwar ,manne ya baat padh kar bhut dukh hua ki itni door ja ke bhi aapki mentality bhut simit rahi.kya hame ab hasna bhi unhi chutkalo par padega jo jaton ke hai. bhai humor ko to kam se kam limited mat karo.humrous baat to koi bhi aadmi kah sakta hai. kya ye sirf jaton ka hi right hai? bhai mere mat bhulo ki hum ek secular country me rahte hain.aur aap jaisa aadmi jo website ka editor hai ,aisi baten shobha nahin deti,ye chhoti-2 baten hamari communal harmony ko nuksan pahunchati hain. so plz dont do like that.

My dear Jat Fratenity,

This is my first mail. First of all, I seek apology from other deswals -particularly my agraj Shri Daya Nand Deswal, for grabbing 'deswal' as my user name. For many reasons I found this the most appropriate. I do hope you will excuse me for taking such liberty. The photo I selected with the user name is that of Chaudhary Chhotu Ram-my adarsh. Let nobody get confused. It is my right (and I have exercised it)to put his photograph where most of the members have put their own. I am trying to insert his name below the photograph.

I am writing for the first time but have been visiting this site -particularly the humour section, since 2001.

Now my views on the jat jokes vis -a -vis the haryanavi jokes:

Dear Mr. Editor, you are thinking of restricting the humour section for 'jat jokes' only. But why? Probably you want to obviate any controversy that may arise due to use of other characters in the jokes like sardar, chamar or baniya. Anmol Ratan's stand. last year, on use of sardar characters refers. If so, you need to seek opinion from the legal angle and not from that of a layman. If not, there is absolutely no need for any restrctions so long as the language used is parliamnetary or ,if put in other words, the joke is fit enough to be enjoyed by the baap and beti together. That is what I want to say.

I also want to say that such decisions are not always to be taken by majority vote. Majority is not always correct.

Bhai eeeeb kime baat si dhyan mein aai ... eeek pache te ghaniye thepadi paath gya koe ...jyah tahi yo poll se ......thread te khole nu soch ke ek kime le aandy original sauda pavega eer pave nira CHOPY PASTE sauda ....par bhai nu hai ek je kime aandy sa ee sauda pave te ke uneh bhi translate karange ke ...??

thik baat kahi aapne humour should not be restricted to jat only it should be free flowing
 
And the results are in...

Doston, we have counted the votes and it seems like more than 3/4th of Jatland janta wants us to have Jat jokes only. The moderators have also discussed this issue amongst ourselves and we have come to a conclusion. I would like to apologize to the other 1/4th population but we are not going to allow any non-jat jokes on this site anymore.

All of the moderators will actively monitor this section and remove any non-jat jokes. Since we may not be able to catch every single post on time, I would also like to request members to report bad posts to us by using the link for bad posts or simply emailing at adm@jatland.com

Once again, a big thanks to everyone who participated in this poll and who informed us of their views!

by the way if any one wants to come up with nonharyanvi joke they are alwayz welcome in timepass section
and concerning haryanvi humor only one line is enough to roll over..............ab kamse kamm weh sante bante,new joke and joke time types te nahi paddhne padenge....:p

MERA JAT MAHAN- YE BAAT TO JAT LAND PER KAFI BAAR SABIT HO CHUKI HAI.
This is not fair that you restrict our friends to enjoy a variety of humour from all the corners.
WHAT ABOUT THOSE JOKES CONVERTED FROM OTHER FIELDS TO MAKE IT SUITABLE TO JATS.
Could you identfy those kind of stuff and what may be the guidelines or standards to call them THE JAT JOKES.

Bhai, we should maintain the USP of this online home for JATS otherwise it will be like any other humar site and the sole purpose of creating jatland will be defeated.
So It should be a only JAT content portal.
