Stop wearing fur!!!

I said this in other thread and I will reiterate it here. Death is always painful it really doesnt matter how the animals are killed. Even if there is some process to kill them less painfully, then also we do like them to be killed. It is a moral crime against animals to nurture them for our luxury and for our taste. There is no place in the world where it is done in a better way, the only difference is that we have the videos to criticize these countries.

Prashant bhai, what do you think what can be the "compassionate" way?

Yodhvir bhai, does electric shock not count for brutality? Forget about brutality, the conditions they are kept in, are worse than the hell. Chickens are made to grow to twice their normal size in half the time. The result is that their bones and muscles are not fully developed and they can't take few steps with this added weight and have less than 1/2 sq feet of space to live in.

It is all about making more profit with less resources. Do we really need to see the videos to understand the human brutality against animals. From a week from now we will forget about such things and would be talking about sehwag or something more interesting.

How many people, who are participating in this thread, will refrain themselves from using the leather products?

It was something about cruel and compassionate slaughter so was just curious to know what is the compassionate way to kill an animal. Apparetly, I think this compassionate slaughter is nothing but merely a clever "pretend" to defy the wicked and disgusting human nature. There may be some more NRI's stories to enlighten us about this compassionate slaughter. Just wait and listen!!

The Nature of the World Includes Cruelty As Well

The video (about fur) is really very horrible and very hard to be watched fully. As far as shoes, wallets, jackets etc. are concerned they may have been prepared with the leather of naturally died animals. If any animal dies naturally due to completion of age then its skin should not be wasted. If anybody really has any sympathy for the slaughtered animals, then being vegetarian is a good way. I think whosoever see such videos, mostly of them will say no to the furs or other things like that.
Some guys (above) said that so many people die in India, there is so much cruelty in Asia and India blah...blah...blah...I want to ask them don't people die in the countries they live (or serve) in? In India, not so many people must have died due to terrorism or Naxalism as died in 9/11 incident alone (appx. 10,000) in USA. What about H1N1? So called '1st world countries' are very neat and clean, safe and developed medically as well, then why the lacs of people are down with swine flu there, out of whom thousands have been dying each month?
Actually be it any corner or nook of the world, the result of human being is same, I think. Human being will live as child first, then youth and then old and then will die after suffering a lot. Be it poor or rich, 1st world's countries or 3rd world countries. No one is spared. In so called 1st world countries life is such a hell I think that some people get so frustrated that they open fire publically and after having shot 15-20 innocent people or as much as they get in their range, they (shooter) shot themselves too. I am amazed why such incidents occur only in 1st world countries, mainly in USA.
Finally I would like to say to all guys that 'Be Brave'. The nature of the world consists some cruelty too. Whichever power has created this world that power does want some cruelty here. If it was not so then mostly living beings (lion, eagle, crocodile and many others) wouldn't be carnivorous. If cruelty is a bad thing then why the lion is sent to this world which can't exist without showing cruelty. So guys be ever ready to be cruel to the cruel world.

I have not visited other countries but in USA I have noticed that these people like beef and pork more than any other meat. Though I am not vegetarian but restriced myself only to seafood and chicken. Yudhvir ji, do u have any idea how cows and pigs are killed here? by electric shock or is there any other more "compassionate" way?

Parshant bhai dard to Palak, Giya, Tori, Tamatar ke bhi howe hai.. But we our botany science hasn't made much progress to gauge that pain and show it to us on youtube.

Bade bude kaya karde: "Jee kaa Jee bari howe hai"

Pet barna hai toh koi toh marna padega.. otherwise koi option nahin hai.. Mati khaa ke kaam kona chala...

A line needs to be drawn between cruel and compassionate slaughter of animals. You dont have to torture an animal to death in order to consume it. An animal's suffering can be minimized or maximized when preparing it for consumption.

Ofcourse there is no such thing as zero suffering that an animal will have to undergo when it is being prepared for consumption. But that factor can definitely be brought close to zero.

Animal products have been a part of Western diet much longer than they have had certain basic standards of decency when it comes to treatment of other beings. That's while Western people prefer to consume animal products that are produced in strict adherence to the standards of basic decency.
I think I understand now..
but still it doesnt assuage
had posted on Herald Sun..looking for an answer..none found

why not poison an animal n then consume it right away.. all in the name of 'compassionate slaughter'.. 'sympathetic consumption'..
Haha..u wish..
Hope they drug the animal..endorphins or a pill of Valium..the poor animal falls into a dreamy sleep..lights shining..
waiting to be slaughtered!
