Guys check out this amazing video of ronaldhino........
Here is the link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJ1cytxOGe0

Mind blowing! (Although I agree with vivek that it seems digitally doctored in parts).

After watching this, however, I can't help but recall one of the anecdote or legend as some would like to call, which I grew upon listening to. It's the breaking of the stick of hockey wizard Dyanchand by the officials in the Amsterdam Olympic (1928) so as to find out whether the Indian had some magnet hidden in his stick!

It's time to break Ronaldinho into half to find what is keeping the ball glued to him:) . Wot say guys?

I am not sure about ronaldhino............
But dhyanchand was a hockey stick wizard...... 8 successive olympic golds .........32 years of domination....... even after that......
You have heard just one of the truth about him
I would bet any day nobody can beat India even today if you play on grass or clay.............dribbling past 5-6 people on one go is not a rare sight ........I represented Rajasthan 3 times .... I know this stuff........

Hey hey............. Nothing like it..........
Infact Last month I went to chkout the state hockey club here .....
I spoke to the guys and watched their game .....All they do is hit and pass
After the game I grab the stick of one of the guys and showed them a few dribbling tricks..... they were amazed and invited me to come and play...
Enough Now....
Lets get back on track ...... talk about football.......

The video was amazing.

my vote for ronaldino and that ukarine fella.

BRASIL remains favorite as team.

Cant wait to see it start , now.

Predict the score

Hello everyone,
Hardly 5 days left when the second biggest sporting event ,after Olympics,on this planet will kick off. Hosts Germany will take on Costa Rica and Poland will face the challenge from Ecuador. It seems like two different continents i.e South America and Europe are against each other on the soccer pitch.
For Germans I predict the score 1-0 for them.
For the second match my predictions are 0-0.
Have your say fellas!!!!
(Off the topic: England thrashed Jamaicans with an impressive win of 6-0. A hat-trick from LIVERPOOLS's Peter Crouch was another highlight of the match.
Trivia: Peter Crouch is the tallest player to play for Liverpool with a towering height of 6'7" and as far as I know he was tallest in EPL in season 2005 as well.)

Yaa the Opening match is almost here!

Yup, can't wait for the World Cup kick off match!
Germans versus the Costa Rican's (I also predict these two to be the final picks from this Group A; so watch out for this thrilling game!)

My views: The Germans I think would be under intense pressure to win the opener (and to stamp their confidence), and anyways the pageantry of game one is always worth watching!

Player to watch: Michael Ballack of Germany!!! (remember this attacking midfielder who went missing in the finals against Brazil last cup, having incurred a yellow card in the semi-finals?)
He is supposed to be one attacking mid-fielder who can generate play from anywhere!
Lucas Podolski, another German is also an emerging star!

Also watch out for Paul Wanchop of Costa Rica, a 6-4 tall forward that is a good scorer!

hey everyone....

well brazil r perfect this time!....the team has been in good form in the qualifiers.....no injury scares....excellent repo among the players...the coach has a winnin record....so everythin seems tailormade for brazil to win its sixth cup....nd thts the scary part...TOO PERFECT!!....nd whenever brazil has been this way....they have lost!....lets hope it doesnt happen this time around...
but i put my money on GERMANY....home advantage surely plays a big part in a team's morale....south korea nd japan frm 2002 r the examples...
nd if not germany then ARGENTINA....

England without Rooney???

As I understand England is supposed to be the strongest squad on paper at least, without the ball being hit yet...

By the way, for you guys who know your football: England is reeling under their biggest injury upset/scare- their star striker Wayne Rooney has been ruled out of the squad (for now, unless he makes a miraculous recovery in time of the start of the games) on the basis of a double fracture he incurred in a match with Chelsea!!!

Kick off soon

Yes Shailendra, It would be a bit hard time for ENG to be on soccer pitch without Rooney. They still have got strong Defense(Sol Campbell, Rio Ferdinand,John Terry, Ashley cole) and Midfielders (David Beckham,Frank Lampard, Hargreaves and Gerrard). Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope that gets well very soon. I too want him to play. ENG would definitely be a hard nut to crack in the tournament. They have first timers T&T from Caribbeans. Hopefully ENG would cruise through to next round. But I want FRA to lift the cup.

Also some more info on the game specifics:
The new Soccer ball....
All world cups invariably see a new kind of soccer ball introduced into the tournament. Most of the time, made spcifically with mind to make the play more goal enriched and this 2006 world cup ball is no different.
There's a lot of difference in this new one, from the traditional one being used till now in the major tournaments. It's is being called a very goalkeeper unfriendly ball.

As explained by the English Goal keeper when it was tested out by the team in warm up games:
It's a different ball -- there's no stitching on the ball, it's glued together in two panels. It's more like a water-polo ball or volleyball. It's very light and moves a lot in the air. And it's got like a plastic casing around it, so when it's wet it's not ideal for goalkeepers.

Alright less than a day to go!

Wyane Rooney is now back in the English squad (he apparently has healed his injury)....
Anyways, see you all after the German CRica game!!!

Another addition to injured list

Yes...It is certainly a good news that Rooney is back in the squad.I want to see him in action right from the first match. Hopefully he would be able to sail England through as far as he can.
But theres another addition to injury list.Djibril Cisse. Liverpool and French striker broke his right leg in a friendly against China.Still France have Henry,Saha and Trezguet in the squad. Wouldnit be nice if Henry scores atleast 12 goals in the tourney with his cunning skills.less than 12 hours to go......wish i were in the stadium to feel the feeling of the game:)

What a match!!!
Six goals scored in the opener itself! I just hope this is the model of things to come!...........Maybe the strategy of the light new ball might actually be working of creatiung more goals!!!

But the last goal by Germany (Frings Tortsen) was a scorcher!!!
Germany 4-Costa Rica 2!!!
Amazing opener game, loved it!
