There has been a downfall of 97 per cent in people employed in Madhya Pradesh under the rural jobs scheme in April, when e-transfer of wages was introduced, compared with last year, according to Government figures which have sparked allegations of corruption.
As many as 1.88 crore persons from 50 districts of the State had got employment under the Centre’s flagship scheme, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, in April 2012 against 3.4 lakh such beneficiaries in the same month this year, according to a report based on Electronic Fund Management System (EFMS), aimed at e-transfer of wages to the beneficiaries under the scheme.
The EFMS was implemented in the State from April this year.
The worst affected district has been Bhind, as only 161 persons have been given benefits under the scheme in April this year, whereas 42,231 people got daily wages under the programme during the same month last year, it said.

Cross questions, why government did not take any measures at first place. Why after loosing so much money. Clearly if there are loopholes in the system, corrupt people will take an advantage of it.

Congress is a great party. But Govt performance is very poor in this tern UPA II. They also know this very well. But u see the way of functioning of and reaction the party and govt as well.
If any neutral citizen comments on Govt performance without any political agenda than instead of giving reply congress declare him BJP or Modi man.
So either u have to say wah wah about Govt/congress otherwise u r a man of BJP/modi. Commenting on govt is not a easy task now because instead of listening yr comment , Modi supporter thappa shall be marked on u.
Even Journalists are facing this prob. so if u think that u r neutral and good citizen than dont say any thing.
so be careful

I thought it is the other way round Sanjeev, if you say anothing against Modi you are given the tag of 'Khangressi' and then the trolls bestowed upon you their love in filthiest of language. And if you are a journalist and write anything against modi or BJP, the very next minute you are declared paid media only until the same media channel puts something in your favor. Even jatland has numerous examples and follow any journalist on Twitter to see the attack they do. I am surprised at your post being other way.

PS : hmm..Discovered this after posting. "In January 2012, Pachauri was appointed the Communications Adviser to the Prime Minister of India, in the Prime Minister's Office, replacing Harish Khare."
I am sure you are not aware that he is the official media advisor to PM of India- he does not work for NDTV but government of India so it is fair.
And before you get on to nexus let me tell you media advisors post to PM has been reserved for editors from media houses. Sanjay Baru(Business Standard), Harish Khare(The Hindu) and many more from different publications have been associated with this post under different PMs.
What per capita increase this UPA is talking about ? This is the data at current prices. Would they show us % increase inflation adjusted. The per capita is increasing every year sicne the last 10 years and will increase because GDP % increase is more than the % population increase but there is nothing to be proud of when India is ranked at 141 even below than some small african countries.

महंगाई का स्तर क्या रहा इसका ग्राफ नज़र ही नहीं आया | क्या कृषि क्षेत्र और MSME (Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises) पर बढ़ता कर्ज भी खुशहाली का पैमाना होता है सरकार की नज़र में ? बेरोजगारी कितनी बढ़ी है इसका भी ग्राफ नहीं है और भ्रष्टाचार के आंकड़े सरकार देगी ऐसी उम्मीद करना ही बेमानी है | अल्पसंख्यक वर्ग ( minorities) पर कितना खर्च किया इसकी तो जानकारी दी है ग्राफ के माध्यम से, परन्तु बहुसंख्यकों पर कितना खर्च किया इसकी जानकारी नहीं दी गयी है, सिर्फ अल्पसंख्यक वर्ग के लिये किये गए खर्च को दिखाना साम्प्रदायिकता के दायरे में नहीं आता है?
मनरेगा में कितने जॉब कार्ड जारी किये ये तो बताया है लेकिन मनरेगा का कितना पैसा भ्रष्टाचार की भेंट चढ जाता है ये नहीं बताया| mid day meal का खर्च कितना बढ़ा इसका तो ग्राफ है किन्तु कुपोषण कितना कम हुआ इसका कोई आंकड़ा नहीं दिया |
