Firstly must say shweta you choose a beautiful question .
Then moving on to you point yes physical beauty does count but when it comes to serious work and all it will be sheer hard word that is going to matter . As physical beauty is temporary it can be a medium of instant captivation but it is not of great help in long run.

Well, as i was going through a thread based on the importance of "luck" in life, it just came in my mind that being beautiful or not is also a matter of luck to an extent! One has no control over his face cut & the basic looks he inherits. But still one has to go along with his looks all his life, and has to bear the agony if the looks are not so called 'appealing' & enjoy an undue edge over others if the looks are appealing ! Beauty is skin deep indeed, but when it comes to real life then the funda is why to go for 'Celina' if 'Katrina' is there! Moreover, in today's world where 'outside appearance enhancement' is gaining such momentum and looks have taken a front seat, its very difficult for a normal looking person to be mentally contended with his average looks !

Baat me bas namak aur mirch hi hai, baaki kuch nahi! Timepass ko ok hai! Ab kya kare kuch logo ko TP ki itni buri aadat hoti hai ki kuch seriously likh nahi sakte. It would have been a worth appreciatiaing joke, if it would have been coupled with some sensible talk too! Now its weight tends to be directly proportional to a 'kaddoo joke'

But on a serious note...Gagan is very much right Shweta.... u just pay attention to his humrous way in which he has taken a serious issue!

Here in India, most of the beauties r weightless......cuz almost all of them r under-weight, unfit & pale face due to dietin/junk foods/not work outs etc.

I strongly believe all that remains eternal is certainly inner Beauty but u cant just neglact outter beauty too...healthy beauty to be precise!! Like the famous sayin, "Beauty is in the eyes of beholder" .... so I suggest instead of wasting all of ur precious time in "16-Srangaar" ... u should pay serious attention to Healthy life style.... like work out, nutritive diet & proper discipline!!

Cuz I believe if ur fit n fine.....it looks beautiful!!! as it spreds Positive Energy!! Think bout it!!

I am a bit struck at the first line....Weight???.... I do not think that one can weigh beauty....Beauty give some kind of joy and pleasure and one can not think of weighing it.
Different people call different things as beautiful depending on their perception or what fascinates them.
People say Tajmahal is beautiful...wat makes it beautiful......symmetrical structure, white marble or the associated love story. May be all three of them....some say its beautiful just because they look at the structure, some find it beautiful thinking about the brains gone into constructing it, some find it beautiful bcoz this is unique, some find it beautiful bcoz of the love they see behind the constrution.
They all are right in their own sense. Its ofcourse beautiful but in totally different way for each of them.
A small dog on the street with white long hairs.....i find it really beautiful and so I noticed it.....that fascinates me. I move ahead on my way....Ofcourse I found the dog beautiful.....so...
Physical beauty is surely one of the beauty one can enjoy very much like the beautiful monuments, beautiful creations of nature. There is no harm in that.
Now if one has to make a comparision between external beauty and beauty of soul, then i would say its totally a personal taste and choice. One may have eye for external beauty so only see them, someone else may eye for beauty of soul and they find it more fascinating and enjoyable than the physical appearances. But both of them are right in their own frame. They have to live with the consequences of their choices and will pay for it accordingly.
For instance someone with blue eyes was complemented by two persons that you have beautiful eyes. One say that your eyes are blue in color and they are unique...they look beautiful.....Other says....your eyes speaks volume ..they reflect your soul.......
Now is it justified to say that only one of them is better than other?? They both are right. They have their own choices. We can not make them look the way we want.
And as far as nature of person is concerned it comes into picture depending on the grounds of being together.
