I’m with you on this one.
What an irony, nothing but the last name is critical for being a Jat.
Has this thought ever crossed a "Jat" mind that perhaps a Jat woman marrying a non-jat might be able to inculcate more Jat values in her “half”(if you allow) Jat son/daughter as compared to the one marrying within the community?
Mind dissecting it more at the microlevel? Wots the difference between an offspring of a Jat man with a non-Jat woman (which is permitted and acceptable! ) AND a Jat woman with a non-Jat man, if for a moment we forget that it’s a patriarch society and the man’s name is inherited? Both are a mix (actually better scientifically) and what matters is how strong and/ or true a Jat, one of the Jat parent is so that he/she can instill those values in him/her. Rest is insignificant.
