What is Important- Certificates or Knowledge or Both ?

Now i will tell u two diff incidents:

ED (Executive Director) of an Navratna PSU was not able to get his son recruited in that particular PSU because his son was not able to crack the recruitment test. two three yrs old thing

In 1981 or 82 a person approached interview commitee of an PSU with letter of that times PM, but he was not selected for the post.

Aapke bataye incident ko main sahi maanti hun lekin i tell u the difference of the approach. In our college two people with CM Hooda's approach came to us to get their sons' admission in engg. college. One who adopted the same method like the one u told and was not able to get it that way. But other came with Hooda's team during some inauguration n CM himself gave that letter and talked to the concerned authority......n that student got the admission. These both cases were under me. So, approach ke tarike hote hain jo hume bhi nahin aate ya humari khud ki approach nahin hoti wahan tak.

Rahi baat un logon ki badai ki to I know where they stand. That person's father went to jail n was suspended from job for taking hefty amount of bribe. That aunt only told us abt the big amount they paid to get the job for their child. Even they wanted to do the same again for their next child but now the reputation has been lost so was not able to do the same. Approach kiski lagai thi ye nahin pata but suitcase kaafi bhara hua diya tha.

Iss cheez mein badai nahin karte log. Aur jo insaan bribe le sakta hai to wo de bhi sakta hai......dene ke liye hi leta hai.
 
And now pls, stop this extra conversation here only......be'coz people can believe only what they can see. Even I do the same. So I expressed what I had seen. You will also share if ever you get to know abt any such case........."Person without degree at managerial level"

Cetificates are like preliminary filtering for the candidates and knowledge is the main one.Both are important at their place.During the degree,it is not only the knowledge that a person gains but the attitude,the smartness of dealing and communication,the sense of discipline and responsibility which can really help him as well as the company in the job.For this I wud say that why the children go to school though they can learn everything at home or tutions?Because in school he learns more than studies.So certificate tells that the person has learnt more than simply the knowledge of operating the things/studies.
Moreover it acts as a filter else for any job the people from all the fields and even without any degres will apply saying they have knowledge about it but it will cause massive burden on the recruiter who will be flooded with applications.So certifiacte is required to apply for the job that assures that at least the person knows a basic of that thing.Then it is the knowledge who carries him forward like on that ground he gets the job or excels in the field in which he is working.
 
Certificates and degrees help to set the benchmark. In professional career, They give you edge but sometimes help us to stand out of the crowd.. However, When we standardize things, we loose creativity. Certificates derive boundary to judge the person's knowledge and I think in Information ladder, Certificates can't judge the Intelligence of the person.

People with exemplary skills like writers, artists, sportsmen, singers, painters etc don't need any degree or certificate to hone or showcase their skills and still they are successful and they are most deserving...

Rest, I also have seen some guys studying at reputed universities/engg. colleges but making their interest as the profession. I recently, seen one video of NIT Hamirpur- a student expressing his poetry in such a perfect manner that I said he looks like a professional and the very next day my brother provided his details that yes he is a professional now and made me listen one of his beautiful ghazal. So an intelligent engg. turned into a poet.
 
Certificate and Knowledge. Are we talking about their particular importance in INDIA?

Yes certificate is important to get into any corporation, be it private or public!...just to make a living...But knowledge is that which leads you to your supreme.

I would prefer knowledge at any situation. Knowledge is must for survival certificate is not.
 
neelam bilkul sahi kaha hai ye kabhi nahi rukta becos kabhi-2 life me aise incidence aa jate hai hum logo ko iska sahara lena padta hai
