Who will form Popular Government in Delhi

In view of fragmented mandate to the three contesting parties in the Assembly of Delhi, none of B J P, A A P or Congress is in a position to make bid to form popular government in Delhi. However, since the time, A A P government formed with outside support of Congress resigned, talk of formation of another government is always in the air.

Would any of the two major parties in the state assembly A A P or B J P succeed in formation of government enjoying majority in the present strength of the house 67 and three vacant seats. If so from where they will get support to swell their number to 34 whereas presently they enjoy support of 28 and 29 members respectively with congress having 8 members.

Before dissolution of the current Assembly, which is in the state of suspended animation on the recommendation of the L G Delhi, the election Commission has no role to play in this matter.

Governor could decide it . Aam Admi party want reelection but BJP haven't give any single yet. that's why it's delayed

Governor could decide it . .........

Minor correction. Delhi has no Governor. It is headed by Lt. Governor.

Lt. Governor can only recommend dissolution of Assembly and the Government of India will decide whether to accept his recommendation or not. If they do, then the President of India would dissolve the Assembly and direct holding of election.

It is yet to be seen when this all procedure will be followed

or

the members of the present assembly would decide to form new Government.

Lt. Governor of Delhi seems to have initiated steps to find out whether there is any possibility of formation of popular government in Delhi with present Assembly or not.

In his attempt in this direction, he has invited A A P leader Mr. Kejriwal for discussion today.

The ambiguity in the statement of Delhi Unit President's statement keeps one guessing about the fate of the present Assembly. On the one hand he says his party is ready for fresh elections; and on the other hand, he says the party will respond favourably to the Lt. Governor's call to form government as and when it is received.

Hence, the stalemate and suspense continues on the issue.

Perhaps none of the political party want to face the electorate at the present juncture. Hence President's rule would continue in Delhi for some more time.

About six months ago, the President's Rule was imposed and there seems no chance for Delhi to get popular government. Perhaps, it would be extended for another six months.

AAP wants elections and have gone to court seeking earliest elections!

Cheers!

After running away from contesting HARYANA Assembly elections, AAP starts to gear up to garner support of the people of Delhi for the party as and when elections to Delhi Assembly are held.

Today they are going to organise a show of strength at Jantar Mantar.

On a TV Show, yesterday, the participants from AAP, BJP and Congress expressed the view that Delhi must get a popular government. But how, they could not spell out clearly. Some allegations and counter-allegations on one or the other party ensued and no final consensus could emerge.

The non political journalist and moderator rightly concluded that political parties were buying time to prepare themselves to elections or some of them were trying to form government with the help of present members of the Assembly.

This means none of the political party is serious to sort out the stalemate by going to the people for seeking new verdict at the present juncture.

When I hear of kejriwal, few things primarly come to my mind.
1) How confident he is that he will fool the people again.
2) Who are those people who are still supporting him.
3) Which agenda he is left with him on which he has not taken a u-turn so far.
4) When will his claims of self certified honeslty will end.

Friend,

At the time of hustings !

Thanks.

Delhi is capital of INDIA but nothing special in this city. Metro system is 5 star, but Roads, pedestrian way, Road gutter is zero star.

It must be clean, beautiful. Only modi can do it because he want to do it.

Kejriwal ji to kabi asi chizo pe dhyaan dene se rhe.

At last, the dead lock on formation of popular government in NCR Delhi seems to move towards resolution as LG Delhi has submitted his report to the President of India recommending installation of popular government which would be given a specific time line to prove majority support of MLAs in Delhi Assembly.

The President of India has forwarded the proposal to Home Ministry for their comments on the proposal.

According to media reports BJP with 29 MLAs, being the largest party in Vidhan Sabha, is likely to be given a chance.

One Independent MLA has promised unconditional support to BJP in Government formation.

It would be interesting to follow the further developments on Government formation process.

Kindly keep sharing the latest comments of political luminaries, media persons and public as well as on further progress on the issue !
