Well, most of the old political system/establishment that this country has been voting for so long, has only provided misery. One party dwells on the image of the founding fathers of the nation like Mahatma Gandhi while other on Vallabh bhai Patel and so on.
People as voters tend to forget that the images of the people on which these political parties dwell, were the people who were really standing for a cause and they did not stand for corruption, nepotism, etc.
In today´s context this does not hold true for the polticians and politicial parties standing in the election and trying to come to power in the center although they may be trying to encash on the image of Mahatma Gandhi, Vallabh bhai Patel and so on.
If u look at such political parties, they have become safe heaven for nepotism and family based politics and are often supported by parties and people of same ideologies, every member of the family near and dear is a politician. The successors of the parties are coming into power because they are from a family and not because they are standing for a cause.
On the contrary a simple example is the case of "Mahatma Gandhi" and his family, he stood for a cause but his family members did not turn out to be politicians. So in real sense, these were the true leaders but due to concept of "idol worship", brains of the nation tend to search for "idol figures" as the doers and the people who are really going to save the people and nation.
Coming to the other end, there are parties who encash on religious ground, but what has religion brought this nation and Indian subcontinent? Division of India and Pakistan and two troubled neighbors called Pakistan and Afghanistan. Who are the people killed in conflicts? Normal population going in trains, in buses, on road, so on or then the next line of casualty are the people of Defense forces, Paramilitary forces trying to defend the people. Now the conditions have become so bad that rather than restoring peace and order, at times even the police personnel have to save their lives in the line of duty. There was a time when the service of any of the forces like paramilitary forces, police forces, defense forces was related with dignity and honor.
So, in real sense, lives of people in the region of Indian subcontinent are not driven by education, rational thought and common sense.
Who are the culprits?
People and political parties supporting and promoting religion and the political parties who have been in power since the so called independence of this country .
In today's context, trade is global trade, education is global education. People, Political parties driven by religious and other such local thoughts are restricted by their narrow mindedness and primitive ideologies which are still trapped in false nationalism, they will again trap the local population in their local crap and the nation might again land up in a bad situations.
If a nation wants to progress at world stage in today's context then there should be no place for political parties trapped in nepotism and religious identities.
Talking about AAP, at least Kejriwal is standing for a cause himself. He is not inheriting any nepotism or promoting any nepotism, nor is he standing for some religious ideology. If he carries on that path, he might be able to focus on "policy based issues", which is the need of the hour.
Looking back at other political parties, when it comes to corruption they are friends and when it comes to the one who was not able to do corruption they start shouting like rowdy people in the parliament.
One can see the extent of the corruption:
Defense and Paramilitary forces involve people who are trying to defend the country and these are the people who are killed by their own equipment, a recent example is that of the Indian submarine. Nothing new? So, how much can such political system and establishment respect the life of common everyday person? Common people just become fodder for the system, such people are left without education, promise of a crime free life and so on.
This is an ongoing process, which has been happening for decades and it is becoming problem of the system, there is no value for common human life although there is value for crime based, corrupt, religion based, nepotismic political people.
Life of these political, nepotismic, crime based, religion based political people is defended by the so called Z++ security, this security and the politicians with their goons have the best resources available where as the military and the paramilitary persons, who are trying to defend the nation have the worst equipment.
