Apart from staunch SAD supporters, jatt of amritsar are going to be with Amarinder. There are high chances that jaitley will get defeated from there.

But apart from Jats, Bishan Singh Bedi with his band of cricketers, who have grudge against Jaitley regarding running of Delhi Cricket functioning, have also jumped in the band wagon of the supporters of the Captain.

Thus caste barriers are looking to be broken there in view of political expediency.

A very interesting fight is emerging between Manpareet Singh Badal of Congress and Harsimartkaur Badal of SAD in Bhatinda Lok Sabha constituency.

Here the role of Sacha Sauda Dera would prove to be crucial to clinch the issue of victory. So far Baba Ram Rahim singh is keeping his cards close to his chest regarding showing his preference between the two Jat candidates.

A new turn in Congress thinking on construction of Ram Mandir issue in Ayodhya.

Rajender Kaur Bhattal, former CM and Punjab Congress Election Incharge now, has supported the BJP on the construction of Ram Temple describing it as a matter of faith but has critised BJP for making it election issue and including it in BJP manifesto.

Would this statement influence and change the voting pattern in Punjab, is yet to be seen !

The half mark to election process for electing members of the 16th Lok Sabha has been reached.

Overwhelming turn up of electorate has baffled the political parties as well as the poll analysts to decide who is going to win or loose;

but,

this encouraging trend is proof of further cementing faith of the Indian citizens in the democracy.

The campaign for remaining seats of the Lok Sabha where elections are due has picked up to sky high and everyone in every party who holds some posts in his / her party hierarchy is trying to sale dreams on behalf of his/party to attract the voters' support.

But voters are keeping their choices close to their breasts and this is bewildering the vote seekers to a large extent.
None is sure to predict the final outcome of the results.

No sooner had they trampled Jatland, BJP had just let its cat out of the bag. With an eye on their votes in Jatheartland BJP spokesman just kept quite till the voting day in their areas.

Now since that phase is over so the love for Jats.

Dalbir Singh Suhag as new Army Chief? BJP slams likely announcement amidst elections

(Ex-Army chief and BJP leader…)

NEW DELHI: With reports of the UPA government planning to name the next Army chief before it demits office in May, BJP has questioned the 'hurry' to make crucial appointments in the middle of the general elections. Vice-Army Chief Lt General Dalbir Singh Suhag is tipped to succeed General Bikram Singh as the new Army chief.

Ex-Army chief and BJP leader VK Singh accused the UPA government of 'playing with the institutional integrity of the Armed forces'. "This undue haste and breaking of norms is playing with the institutional integrity of the Armed forces. See, my case was different. I think sections within the bureaucracy and the government had some misgivings, some misapprehensions. So, they announced the things three months in advance," VK Singh told Times Now.
"Now, you have got whole of July, whole of June, you have got half of May. I would feel that the government would be prudent to do it after the election process is over. That is normal," Singh said. "What the government wants to do or what the bureaucrats want the government to do or some sections within the government have different ideas based on some other considerations, I have got no clue about that. But, all that I would say is, let us not play with the institutional integrity of the Armed Forces. It is not good for the country," he said.
VK Singh also said that the likely decision to name the next Army chief will not reflect well on whoever succeeds General Bikram Singh. "See, everybody in the Army knows what this is all about. It will only bring down the credibility of the new man. It will show him as a stooge of the government. Government should not create a situation where the Rank and File of the armed forces feels uncomfortable," Singh said.
Ravi Shankar Prasad of the BJP raked the Model Code of Conduct on the issue. "I am not going into the specifics of any name but surely but the larger issue of naming the next General. We would expect that when we are in the midst of elections, when the Model Code of Conduct is on, at least till 16th of May all these things must be avoided," Prasad said.

No Marks for guess regarding their next target ....that has to be Jat reservation
.

But let us have faith in our BJP brothers ...they might be advocating our case with them(BJP brass)with the same zeal as they show regarding them on our site.

Rajputs aisa hi karte hai, ek to RSS with rajputs like Sangeet Som ne Jats ko pagal bana ke muslims se lada diya, uske upar se jaton ko koi help nahin ki. Baki Rajasthan ke Barmer regions main Rajputs ne Jaton ko murkh bana ke 2 seats par muslim candidate hara diye and rajput candidate jitwa diye. sath hi priyanka choudhary ko barmer se vadakhilafi karke hara diya Now Barmer se Jaswant khara ho raha hai and he may win with Muslim support and anti-Jat polarization . Rajput brain at work. Only a foolish Jat will trust a Rajput. Abhi bhi koi der nahin hai.
Baki yadi bjp ne jaton ko 7 ticket di hai to koi ehshan nahin kiya jaton par because they can't win without Jat candidate (Muslims and NEo-Buddhist Dalit to vote dalenge nahin bjp ko).
Baki merey ko to lagta hai Jaton ko amicable solution nikalna chahiye Muslims ke sath, you can never trust Rajputs and likes.
This is not new phenomenon in history, in sekhawati region Rajput betrayed and killed Jhujhar Singh Nehra
Jujhar Singh Nehra (Hindi: जुझारसिंह नेहरा) (1664–1730) or Jhunjha was a Jat chieftain of Rajasthan in India who gave name to theJhunjhunu town situated in Rajasthan. He was born in a Hindu Jat family of Nehra gotra in samvat 1721 (1664 AD). His father was a faujdarof Nawabs.
Jujhar Singh when became young was made the general of the army of Nawabs. He had a dream to establish Jat rule in India. He was planning to have a joint rebellion against the Muslim rule in India. He had heard the stories of rebellion by Jats of Bharatpur such as Gokulaand Raja Ram. Meanwhile he came in contact with one Rajput Shardul Singh, who was an employee of the Nawabs. The Jats through Jujhar Singh and Rajputs through Sardul Singh agreed upon a proposal to fight united against Muslim rulers and if the Nawab were defeated Jujhar Singh would be appointed the Chieftain.
Jujhar Singh one day found the right opportunity and attacked Nawabs at Jhunjhunu and Narhar. He defeated the army of Nawab Sadulla Khan on Saturday, aghan sudi 8 samvat 1787 (1730 AD).
According to the book ‘Rankeshari Jujhar Singh’, written by Kunwar Panne Singh, Jujhar Singh was appointed as Chieftain after holding a darbar. After the ‘tilak’ ceremony of appointment as a sardar or chieftain, the Rajputs could not digest it and killed Jujhar Singh in 1730 AD at a lonely place. Jujhar Singh thus became a martyr for his community. The town Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan was named so after the memory of Jujhar Singh or Jhunjha

No need to be panicky.

None [no political party] can now dare to alter the Jat Reservation category Gazette Notification if it is found by the Supreme Court that the Central Government issued it after ''due application of mind,''

So vote according to your own application of mind instead of fear of loosing or gaining reservation tag.

Friend,

History is a two edged sword, use it with caution to prove or disprove a point in discussion ! Stray examples would not do any good to any.

You are right to suggest that the community should seek cordial relations with other segments of the society and there seems to be no need to spread sense of fear or panicky situation in the minds of the Jats anywhere.

Use your vote with due caution in the interest of democracy to flourish in the country.

Thanks and regards,

Well, I meant Jat should be cautious while dealing with groups like Rajputs and like minded people who believe in Machiavellian logic.

Well ! In today's age of consumerism in relationships, one must of course remain vigilant and cautious while developing social relationships. But no caste or community as a whole is good or bad for that matter !

Well, people of community are voting as a whole, at least in barmer constituency. Even people of China and Pakistan as a whole are not good or bad for that matter, still we have stereotype about these countries.

Much is not known about the demographic composition of Barmer Lok Sabha constituency and its contesting candidates. So I am not in a position to offer comments.

Well...if you read the complete news and think like a person not as a JAT. It's a common sense to oppose this kind of decision at this point no matter if it involves Jat or non Jat.

- The tenure of the current General will end in July 2014 (New govt will be formed by May end or early June)
- During elections NO policy decisions can be taken especially this important should be taken by the new govt.
- If the current govt. is so sure to come to power why are they taking decisions during this time...just wait and watch.

Contrary to your perception most of our members never think in terms of Jats or non Jats while discussing issues of national importance.
Can you explain Why this common sense went for a six when Dhawan was appointed Navy Chief ignoring seniority of another officer FYI It is not some policy matter it is a routine exercises and by this time as per the convention Army Chief name should have been declared already. There had been attempts to scuttle Suhag's appoint earlier where he came clean in inquiry on the contrary there had been attempts to promote persons , whose promotions were severely criticized by courts and army tribunals .

I hope you read the case of promotion of Brigadier Rathor or Ajay Sing Pawar of Rajput regiment to rank of Maj Gen If not, do read and give your feed back.

Problem with us is we have an inferiority complex where if some one raise a finger we immediately find a fault with us and never look impartially as a neutral person whether the objection raised by others is genuine or not.

I don't think that bjp as a party is anti-Jat (or pro-Jat for that matter) but some elements and particular persons in it may have anti-Jat prejudices. I have seen numerous posts in social media stating Muslim relatives of top BJP leadership.

I understand that no one has opposition for the appointment of Gen Suhag, it is only showing the solidarity to concerns or pain expressed by BJP in election fever. IF it is wrong, then someone will surely go to court. It is obvious a new incumbent shall like to take a pride of signing the order. But I am not sure that it is a new policy decision, knowingly taken by present Govt or since the process of appointment was initiated much before the election code of conduct?

Govt getting set to announce Lt Gen Dalbir Singh Suhag as next Army chief

.jpg

NEW DELHI: The government seems determined to announce the name of Lt Gen Dalbir Singh Suhag as the next Army chief, holding that it was an "apolitical" appointment based on the well-established principle of seniority.

The defence ministry, in fact, is now giving finishing touches to the "process" of background checks and clearances of the five senior-most officers in the "zone of consideration" to take over from General Bikram Singh on his retirement on July 31, say sources.

In the seniority list, Lt-Gen Suhag (current vice-chief) is followed by Lt-Gens Ashok Singh (Southern Command chief), Philip Campose (Western Command), Sanjeev Madhok (Training Command) and Rajan Bakshi (Central Command). Two other senior Lt-Gens, Anil Chait (integrated defence staff chief) and Sanjiv Chachra (Northern Command) are not in the reckoning because they are slated to retire in May-June.

After Admiral R K Dhowan superseded Vice-Admiral Shekhar Sinha to become the Navy chief on April 17, the 1.18-million strong Army has been all aflutter over whether its own chain of succession would also undergo a change, as was first reported by TOI last week.

It gained currency with BJP warning the UPA regime to not be in a "hurry" to name the new Army chief before demitting office in May, and even complained to the Election Commission (EC). BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Ghaziabad and former Army chief Gen V K Singh, who has made no bones about his repugnance for the line of succession, also jumped in with all guns blazing to further queer the pitch.

But the MoD remains unmoved. It is working to "move" the file for the next Army chief by next week to ensure the political leadership — first defence minister A K Antony and then the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) - gets a fortnight or so "to take a call on the matter", say sources.

The MoD believes the Election Commission (EC) will not hinder the "routine administrative decision" in tune with the long-standing convention to announce the name of a new Service chief at least 60 days in advance.

"The EC's March 27 order gave an omnibus or blanket permission to take decisions on appointments, transfers, contracts and the like. But if required, a stand-alone clearance for Army chief's appointment can also be taken," said a source.

"The Navy chief's appointment was done in unusual circumstances (with Admiral D K Joshi's sudden resignation after a string of warship mishaps). There is no such issue in the Army chief's case, with Lt Gen Suhag's name heading the list of five officers. Over the years, names of Service chiefs have been announced 58 to 89 days in advance," he added.

Ex-Army Chief VK Singh is known for his anti-Jat policies .. I don't know why he has ill-will against Lt. Gen Dalbir Suhag ..
But today I found a solid reason why he is opposing appointment of Lt. Gen. Dalbir Singh Suhag as next Army Chief .

Daughter of VK Singh is married to son of Lt. Gen Ashok Singh (Head of Sourthern Command) .. He want his in-laws to become next Army chief ..
In order to strengthen his family relation he is opposing appointment of Dalbir Suhag ji ..

Now no one can stop Lt. Gen. Suhag to become next Army Chief .. History is going to be created on 1st August,2014 when a Jat would lead army for the first time since 1947.
