Why I'm not "Proud to be Indian" kinda citizen !!

Yo to na banne aade don't worry. Before joining my manager in bank believed that Indians are in general are average height, easy going, self centered geek sorta people of Punjabi brats but once he told me while having beers that I don't look like Indian .. cuz Indians are not that tall and athletic in genral. Then I told him about Jats and their contribution in Army, Farming and Sports then he realised of our calibre!

i proud to be indian (filam) ali na bann ja Jitte tere gel hude Aastralia me...

You sure, you were able to differentiate that as a comment or complement?

So, what did he tell you .. you look like who? A tanned Camel rider lost in Sahara desert? or you forgot to ask, in a rush to start your tales instead, running out of time to finish it before the manager's beer ends.

Jats have to be their own brand ambassadors and I think we all need to do our bit as Jit did.

These Punjabis leave no stone unturned to badmouth the Jats and to top it all, EVEN the Biharis now shrink their noses on the mention of Jats. Instead of telling about the good things about their own community, these Punjabis and Pandits take pains and time to say bad things about Jat community. Of course we as a community have our shorcomings but we do not make badmouthing any other community our single-point agenda. So ulitmately, it is upto us to set the record straight (if possible across the world). The way to do this would be educating others about our rich history and also excelling in our own respective professional and academic fields. Let's not only set the bar (benchmark), but also raise it!!!!

I beg to differ.

There are so many threads on Jatland itself criticizing tilakdharis and bhappe, the person you have quoted has cursed muslims. I am not saying it is right or wrong but let us not be hypocrites and live in a state of denial at least, we all put down other communities when given a chance.
