Lol thank u ... vaise ye kafi happy ending tho hai lekin kya ye sach mein ho saktha hai?? Aur ye attraction nahi kyu ke dono itne sundar bhi nahi dikthe... bas une sirf pyar aur pyar hi nazar ata hai.... by the way kya bhagwan ki maarzi ke age society kuch mineh rakthi hai?? Ye baath mujhe hamesha majboor karthi hai soochne mein... Agar bhagwan ki maarzi thi ke orginally ye dono ki shaadi ho jaye par kuch chize hui jis se ye nahi ho paye aur ab uski maarzi hai ke ab vo ho ke rahe ga tho iske saamne society kya kar sakthi hai???

It is very confusing but interesting when u luk at the matter reli closly and study the whole situation from one's point of view...

Thank u once again... :)

Ho kyuna sakta ... donua mein himmat honi chahiye ... er himmat na hai to ...lhuk-chup ke chalan dyo iss pyar ne, jo chal rahya hai .... ke sari ee duniya nhai-dhoi hai ...;)

Aur ye attraction nahi kyu ke dono itne sundar bhi nahi dikthe... bas une sirf pyar aur pyar hi nazar ata hai.... by the way kya bhagwan ki maarzi ke age society kuch mineh rakthi hai??

Ek rapist se rape bhi bhagwan hi karvata hai ... us bechari ki kya marzi ... us time usse bus wahi khayal aata hoga .... ye to bhagwan ki marzi hai ..... wo bechara bhool jata hai ki ye samaj ke najar mein galat hai ... lekin aakhir kya kare usse to karna padta hai ... kyonki ye bhagwan ki marji hai ...

Mujhe ye baat hamesha majboor kathi hai sochne pe ... ki us rapist ke man mein ye bhav aaya ... to usmein uska kya kasoor hai .. bhagwan ki marji thi ki wo aisa kare ... to society ismein kya kar sakti hai ...

It is very confusing but interesting when u luk at the matter reli closly and study the whole situation from one's point of view...

Recently there was a news related to a 54 year old professor and 22 year old girlfriend student ...

Girl says .... 'Love is far above the ritualistic relationship of marriage. Love is not a crime, nor love is illegal.'

http://in.news.yahoo.com/060707/43/65pct.html

They were in love ... this society !!!!...people are always jealous of others happiness .... they cant bear it even a bit ... and damn to that lady ... old lady ... who is still running after that Lover guy of 54 .... I dont understand sometimes ... why that lady is filing complaint against these divine lovers and why so many people curse this incident ...

It was all marzi of God that even he is not good looking ... so aged for that young girl of 22 .... even then they are attracted to each other ... then there might be some power controlling them .... society should keep mum and let them enjoy ...

hooda saab aapne meri baat ko agree kiya. thnks. aapne aur logon ki bhi aankhen khol di.
bhagwan aap ka bhala kare. hope manisha has got the desired reply

love story

''Yar itne sare critics padke to laga ki muje bhi apni girlfriend ko chhodna padega nahi to ye jhangu ji muje bhi jangva ke manegi''

:D:D:D:D
Just a Joke, Ghar mat batana.

Khaire, if it is a story let it be a story and lets find the happy end, like Dev ji missed, there is a 4th solution also,

Abhi tak Unke bachhe nahi hai, so let the boy convince the girl that she can't bear the child, and suggesses the second marriage and find a relative's girl ( he may suggess the name of his girlfriend)
let them marry and have kids from the second wife. its old fashion but happening here and it can be the happy ending.:(:(

Hey Manisha
You may probably wanna put upfront the wife's story as well. If she doesn't find her happiness with the man, I feel there is no point to continue. And if she feels that the relation between her and her husband would have been normal if her cousin hadn't come in the way; well then it is husband's fault or let's say it is "natural" infidelity by a man. So in that case her cousin (the unmarried lady) should realize and should get out of the way.

Thank you... ye sab bara acha hai....
The wife: She is very protective over her husband for some reason... e.g. if he eats chewing gum she will start to suspect him and ask him who did he just meet or who is he going to meet? And this happens very often and can tend to get ennoying... so it must be really hard for the husband to tolerate such behaviour... e.g. if they go cinema she will hold both his hands so that he doesn't do anything by mistake with any other girl.... a bit of confusion don't u think???

double standards

All relations of this sort husband-wife/lovers require faith/mutual trust/understanding of feelings/compassion and then love happens if these feeling aren't there then love can't happen/grow. The man who isn't faithful or trustworthy to his wife then how can he be faithful to a girl he feel he loves? It means both the boy and the girl are insensitive to their relative and SOCIETY. What if he/she feels same way again for the second time intheir life. If its LOVE then LET LOVE BE LOVE and move on with their life separately!
you mentioned a word SOCIETY ok! ab apki us double standard multi standard single standard etc etc theories ka ke hoya sunnitta maddamm ji!

Hello !

Hello to all fellow Jatlanders . M not a regular one here but was asked to read this thread by someone :) And after reading all the posts , could not help myself not posting.

I am not comfort at quoting and unquoting people so i would name the person and their comments and then respond to it with my views.

Hope u will bear with me . :)

Firts thing first , a nice piece of story or watever by manisha and the two ways one can answer this is by either creating a humour out of this or taking it pretty sincerely.

The first option was deliberated by Shweta Dhaka in a nice fashion , kudos , thatwas indeed a great response

replies !

Let me clarify in the first place that i am not jumping to a conclusion , rahter i would wish to take the things in a discussion mode ( please see that i myself dont appreciate getting into arguments , i extend till its healthy basis reciprocation of ideas :) ).

Since i have joined in a bit later , so let me first respond to people who are concerned !

@ MAnisha : I am not happy with you in the sense that u did not clarify everything in the first post of yours. FActs and all of them need be resent there before asking anyone to comment on it. anyways , coming till the end u mentioned a few things like the behaviour of the wif is protective , not upto the mark and that suggest that the husband is not satisfied and he might have a point . But then the only thing is ( and that is keeping aside the relationship with another girl ) that either to settle their relationship through whatever mechanism or to end it :) There is no point in continuing a relationship which cannot generate happiness.

But the post suggesting that the relationship between husband wife is not good came at the end and the discussion was before it.
So i would like to respond only considering the first post by manisha !

hypothesis : only the first post by manisha !

I would congratulate manisha for at least imagining such a issue and having the courage to put it on the discussion floor ! No need to actually put facts and figures but these things do prevail and in plenty these days in our society.
So y not talk about it.

@ manisha : I would try to walk in through some of the replies of honoured members here and as already mentioned i dont jump to conclusion in a hurry and it will take some time ( after discussing my views and listening to others) for me to come out with a solution.

NOTE : I am not trying to make any personal remarks , so please take it in a positive way !

@ Yash beniwal :

Sir , in the first post of yours u mentioned :

" true love never ditched anyone.. "

Two things :
1. Which sacred text reads the way u said ? :):)
2. Where in that first post of manisha , she mentioned that the husband is ditching his wife. And u r jumping to a conclusion basically extrapolating by yourself that the love of the husband for another girl is equivalent to or at least will lead to ditching his wife ?

@ Rainu Ohlyan :

I could gather these two points from your post.

1. U said " one should be loyal to his/her life partner " !

The point is this " should " , its not an compulsion in the literal sense of the thing u wrote ! :p
Jokes apart the meaning of loyalty as gathered by me are :

a. loyal == Steadfast in allegiance or duty . Just by loving a lady other than the wife where is the non allegiance or non dutiness shown ? May be the husband is motivated even more strongly to take care of the wife ( and i mean it on all the domains of physical , mental , emotional and spiritual :) ).

b. loyal == Unwavering in devotion to friend or vow or cause Again the point is the might be the devotion increases due to increased consciousness ! :)

2. U mentioned that marriage is a divine relation and phenomenon .
I want to ask you that is not love a mystic and a totally divnine phenomenon as well and how can say that love is anywhere less in its greatness than the marriage ?? :) Both these are non comparable and one should not even try to compare them !

hypothesis : only the first post by manisha !

@ harendra tomar :Sir , u mentioned that pyar ka matlab khushiyan hota hai !

Even i believe this and my philosophy when considering reltionships is that :
Any relationship which can generate enough amount of happiness to overcone the not so happy things and time it has genrated is justified.
And If two people are in love and they can ( possibly at a later stage ) generate happiness , nothing like it.
U said this story contains problem only ! Its the constrained mindset that is actually seeing this stroy as containing elements of unhappiness only. Its that routine way of looking at things that is not allowing us to think in any else direction.

Else just from an outsider's perspective , this stroy does contain flavour of some divine and mystic phenonmenon as love and feelings and emotions !

Let us not be pretty usual in our approach and see to it that we can actually fare much better than being routine ! :):)

@ Sunita Hooda : Quoting u :

" All relations of this sort husband-wife/lovers require faith/mutual trust/understanding of feelings/compassion "

I would reemphasize my hypothesis of being limiting to manisha's first post only that the husband is thinking on this issue is only a demonstration of the trust and faith and loyalty for his wife.
Else eveybody knows that these sort of things do happen in our society and never get disclosed.
Coming to the compassion and understanding part of the relationship , i dont believe that start of a new relationship can ( if the person is good enough ) lead to decreased compassion . And i am also not of the opinion that parallel ( please dont take me wrong and dont interpret my words ina negative sense ) relationships has to a spoiltsport. Yes , it is in the most of the cases but exceptions are always there and i believe we are discussing an exceptional case in n e case ! :)

The whole point in the argument is that it is totally dependent on the people concerned whether they take things in the negative sense or they are good enough to be positive about things and then discuss and deliberate it and then come to the conclusion ( the conclusion can be anything ) ! :)

@ yash beniwal ( second post ) :
Quoting u :
can u tell me whats the fault of this wife,,,, will she get love for her sacrifies????

Exactly this is the point i wish to ask that is the husband good enough to justify and satisfy his wife ( on all fronts ) and love him even more or at least the same ?

But everybody here is just not looking at this possibility at all ! :| Pretty strange for a bunch of highly intellectuals :(

hypothesis : only the first post by manisha !

@ yashpal antil :

Sir , u mentioned 4 T's ! Nice ones !:)

My query is that is not the husband showing truth by actually thinking about the problem at hand although he could have gone unnoticed !
Secondly the touch and the taste part are not getting affected !
Thirldy is not the wife has equal share in showing the tolerance ? :)

U concluded that man is guilty because he has not been honest. The irony is that he WILL be termed as gulity if he will display honesty.
The only reward he will get out of this honesty is that he will be termed dishonest , unfaithful , non loyal and so ... Pity!!!!!!!

@ RAvi Chillar : Quoting u Bro !

Marriage is other name of commitment n working together to make that commitment persist.

the point is " Working Together " ! LEt me ask everyone involved , y is it that the wife ( who all of u are terming as sufferer ) was not able to keep her husband within her possession only !
I believe and i very strongly believe that if u r in an relationship and the relationship is strong , any allurement cannot and i repeat , any allurement cannot make u commit a thing that is harmful to the relationship .
so if at all u believe that theres been a loss in the commitment then i would say that the commitment u are talking about didnt existed in the frist place and even if it did , it was not of enough substance ! :)

hypothesis : only the first post by manisha !

@ Dev Dahiya Sir :

Your post was the most balanced one of the lot .

And i cannot agree with you more when u say that :

One ought to have control over one's emotions and never ending desires and should see reason and logic through the lense of wisdom.

And when u suggest that :

i am of the view that people are free to choose any of these options after proper stock taking and with a readyness to face the consequences.

Awesome i must say and thats the right approach infact.
When i started reading the thread , i was just eager to read a post like yours , a model answer i must say !!!!!! :)

Thanks a lot for guidance . :)

I would end my say on the topic as of now and looking forward to comments .
Please discuss contructively :)

Thanks and Regards ,
Anil

There is a girl who falls in love with her Cousin's husband.. this cousin is long related... But that girl does not say anything to the boy but the boy then tells her how he feels about her in some way and they both end up loving each other... this is true love and somehow shows that this was meant to be but they both don't know what to do??

:)

First of all, i hope it's just a story !:)

Now coming to the point, who is going to decide that this is true love. Is there any definition or rules and regulation upon which it can be decided that it is true love or not ?

These days especially this so called next generation have moulded the meaning of love according to the norms which are suitable for them. Today they are in love with someone and next day with someone else and ironically when asked they will say proudly that their love is true love .... EVERYTIME ..... LOL. :)

A person got married with someone, spent few years with her and now he feels that he is in love with someone else. Is that true love ? What if now he ( somehow ) marry his sister-in-law and after few years later he again realize that he is in love again with someone else and want to marry her. Where to put full stop on this love happening 'again' ?

The girl, i really wonder on her way of thinking, does she knows what she is doing ?

First, she is ruining her sister's married life and ironicaly she is thinks that she has a lovable heart and want to see everybody happy. Does she have any love for her sister ? What is true love in her views : between a man and woman only ? So, this is real love : damn with her sister, society, parents, relatonships and so on but let's just fall in love get it at any cost. Can anybody tell me what is selfishness ?

Second, how can she ensure herself that the person who is ready to leave her sister even after marriage for her would be faithful to her in furure ? Hoe can she ensure herself that he would not say her one day that he is in love again with someone and want to marry her because he is in true love with her. If he is ready to forget his commitment with her sister, how can she so sure that his committment with her now are forever.

History repeats itself ! :)

It's great that you like to explore dictionary to gather the exact meaning of the term 'loyal'.

So, in your views ( extracted and/or analyzed from dictionary ) if someone is in love with other than his/her spouse, he/she is still loyal to his/her partner. Wow.... this world is so beautiful. There is no committment of being faithful to your partner even after the sacred knot of marriage. Both husband and wife are free to be in love after the marriage and still are considered 'loyal'. They also get motivated from their love and hence take care of their spouses.

Folks ! Wecome to the newly discovered loveland !:)

Yes, Love and marriage can't be compared. There is lot of difference between them. Love is the feeling and you can have it for anyone but marriage is the sacred knot with which two persons are bonded with each other. Marriage is the recognition of the relation by this society. We are human beings and live in society. This is the basic differnce between us human being and the animals.... otherwise animals also have feelings and love other animals. We have to follow some society norms ( more or less ...depends ) otherwise what is difference between animals and humans ..... both fall in love too.

I hope that difference between love and marriage and importance of marriage is quite clear .. Now :)

happy ending of love story

Pyar karne ka matlab yeh nahi ki jisse aap pyar karo usko hasil karo, try to give him all happiness in life. The fellow who loves her is alraedy married so he can't break his family,he search a good gentle man for girl,n finally that girl got married with that gentle man n live a very happy live.He use to solve her any problem she face in future, also girl help her lot when he was in problem.

@ Vijay Sir !

I am not a maven in the field of understanding the meaning of words as you are . So i at times do have to refer to dictionary for meanings.
another reason i look for help from the written text is to look for another sense or interpretation of the word in the context i wish to see.
Anyways , that my personal way of doing things .

Quoting u :

Again i am not as genius as you are to interpret things at such a rapid pace . I hate using BIG words such as loyalty and commitment because to me these words do not have a single or a narrow interpretation and the context in which they are used and the range of areas , emotions , feelings in which they are ascribed to by writers is vast.
If u happen to read my posts carefully , i through the course of my posts and infact in the very neginning did make it clear that normal course of events cannot be moulded in this way.
I was up for a exception and that is why i dealt it with care far greater than i should have ( at least after your remarks i feel so now).
But i have not started doubting my convition as yet so i would like comment on the committment part and would say that instead of pouncing on the husband and humiliating him , we should be a little more spectical about the whole issue and should go for a closer look at things.
And Sir , committment as you say cannot be measured on the scale of just not doing the course of actions like not going further with the relationship with his sister in law.
Committment was utterly broken even when the slightest of the feelings came for another girl .
If we are up here for committment then it has to be present at all four levels of human faculty ( physical , mental , emotional and spiritual ).
If any person ( be it husband or wife in the marriage relationship) even thinks about having a relationship other than the marriage one and thus degreades the very sanctity of the "sacred marriage" , either he is not being a human or if it is , then there must be some very strong forces or causes behind it.
And for sure we are not talking about non humans ( as i believe for persons who break the ties for no reasons and for petty satisfaction , there cannot be any advices [:)] )here !
I was shocked a little by reading the posts of felow members when no one actually tried to even look for another perspective or cause of such a problem and eveybody just blabbered on with the usual narrow interpretation and outlook and i am disheartened that even after explaining my part and my opinion of having a deeper insight into the affair , the process continued.
Now let me ask you this one :
Suppose the man in question is not satisfied ( physically , mentally , emotionally , spiritually , a combination of all or some of these ) and i tell you that he is totally right and committed at his end , does he have to suffer throughout his life ??
IS his satiation of his soul nothing ! Just for the sake of pleasing the society , a soul remains in disarray for some 40 odd years.
( Note : It is difficult to judge the what is true and what is not ?
I am hypothesizing before u that the man is true and committed on his part and tried his level best but is not satisfied by the wife ! )

I might sound a fanatic but i would love to be called myself this way because life is to grow and learn .[:)] !
I forgot the exact wordings but Einstein said that if given an hour to solve an problem he would wish to spend 55 minutes asking and understanding the question !

hey thank u for ur quotes and do apologise for not giving enough detail in the first post... there is very good length of understanding in your discussions which is a great thing to consider on... I was looking for the end to end in what a human feels to do and not what a society orders it to do...
But couldn't find the right reasons to why it could happen like that... I'm pleased and hope this disscussion carries on and I could gain a deeper understanding of the whole situation for my story...

Thank you once again... xXx
