: chalo jeee nai maada daat loon soon bhagwaan aapki manokaamna mere byaa,h ke baare mein :D safal kare :D

@ vijay : u r right but things are stretched too far.

i wont categorise these things as constructive.

we all know and appreciate human relationship and feelings are very complex things and there cant be an end to it . and similar things have been put in some other form somewhere !! u cant just keep making threads with all flashes of thoughts that cross ur m during the day. at least for me there is a limit to which i can redo similar things !!!!

Aapki Manokaamnaa poorn hove sheegraha, hi aisi hamaari bhi kaamna hai :)

By the way Anil ji, Jatland doesnt suggest us anywhere to discuss only 'constructive' things, does it ? And can I have the manual laying down guidelines so as to explain what comes in the definition of 'constructive' and 'non-repetitive' ? It entertains general discussions, humour, time pass and even social responisibilty concerning issues.

Precisely, it has been left to individual discretion as to what one wants to read, write, discuss and talk about. And everyone is allowed to

do so + dont do so (if it makes one feel like re-doing anything)

So, let the NON-re doers go on the way they want to.

And if they dont wish to go, believe me...... really take my word for this, I wont take them out of their homes forcibly to come and comment cumpulsorily ...... :)

"Is all this a game of fate, or just a play of coincidence, a fluke ? It would be great to listen to people who wish to share any such incident or how they met their life partner or did it came as a surprise for them or it felt pre-destined ?"

That was the question the author of this asked . However , no one except me have narrated the incident as to How I and my future Bride met and what was it that passed in our respective minds at that time and slightly later'

Are all contributors to the thread unmarried ?

BLS

Agreed Sir, no one answered what I asked ! Are all the contributors to the thread unmarried or are all the unmarried are the contributors

It was such a meaningful and interesting question but no-one answered it and thought that this thread is about 'marriage' !

This thread is about 'destiny' ! Is marriage a game of decisiveness or a play of destiny is what I asked, based on incidents one must have experienced on his or her ownself or the people around. But people are interpreting it in their own ways !

undoubetdly, it's all abt the luck , decisiveness has nothing to do with it. Apparently, ppl hunt & strive to get a better life partner and stretch out their brain muscles...what a panic phase:p.....but it is luck that holds everything....:)

First of all , Thanks :D for UR Kaamna regarding my manokamna :D

Next ,

To reply on the things u said :

I agree that it would have been better for me to have opted out of the thread if i felt repetitive. And u r right that u dont ask anybody to comment. :)
Of course there are no written rules and an comprehensive list of DOs and DONTs , i would argue only that you have initiated quite a few threads on topics which run at least on the fringes of this one. Human relations and relationships , destiny etc.

It would have been much better if we can continue on those and try and make out ome conclusions and summary of what all we discussed.
Jatland does not give a mandate to discuss only constructive issues , but i guess this should be every individual's endeavour. :)

Hope u appreciate the point.

An extract from my forthcoming book

"...Though the main doors to the Drawing room were open I still took a detour and entered the room from the side-door. There she was and it was for the first time that I was looking at a girl like that.
…..I was instantly captivated by her expression of innocence which effortlessly penetrating the numerous layers of defence so assiduously built over time by me falling in quick succession.

…..Strange things do happen in life: Unknown the two of us, at that instant, till now two strangers were falling in love.

….Though seeing her for the first time strongly I felt that I had known her for long she was the exact picture of someone whom I have been searching all this time. She looked at me not as if at a stranger but at some body long lost her eyes trying to tell me some thing also as if she was trying to make sure if it was me in reality.

I knew that my search had ended; I had found her at last. I still remember that day as if it was yesterday. …..I looked at her and saw the innocence and open vulnerability in her expression. The looks in her eyes and the expression on her face were more important to me than how she was dressed. I don’t think I can describe it. But yes I could sense an internal struggle and the clash of thoughts going in her mind...."

And this she is what she experienced on that Day of our first meeting....as she wrote …. And I found after 42 years of our first meeting in her affects after her sad demise
….as you entered the room I lowered my eyes knowing fully well that every one would be looking at me and that is exactly what happened. I looked at you the moment I got a chance and saw you looking at me. I was not scared but the very thought that you must be wondering as to why she is looking at me I let my eyes remain where they were but removed my attention. Once again I tried to look at you unsuccessfully three or four times and then when you were busy showing me the photos I looked at you. Once again I felt that I had seen you earlier-but where I could not fathom. Till now I had not reached any definite conclusion in my mind I clubbed you with the others wondering that if we got married the wishes of this person will rule over me.

Then once again I looked at you I wanted to conform if you really did like me although from all your talk and actions the proof was there for me to see yet I could not believe it. I was looking at you in surprise

….wondering as to what was in me that you had found such faith in me and accepted me so quickly. I was finding it difficult to understand the situation as to why you had done this and also why nothing was happening to me. And then when you told me about your going back I failed to understand as to why you had mentioned that to me….. That is what happened the last day that you were going it appeared all so strange. I was wondering as to why all this was happening and in this confusion you left. Once you left I developed some courage in myself and started thinking about this turmoil going on inside me I even started missing you and feeling your absence. I wished that you could repeat your question. Yes now I may be able to say some thing. I felt bad as to why I did let you go empty handed why I did not say any thing at that time but then whenever I had looked at you I went blank I do not understand as to what I was thinking at that time. I feel I will never be able answer this.”

A s translated from Hindi

Sir, its not that I missed reading this, though I missed asking few questions, in case you wish to answer.:)

Firstly I must say, a vivid description of expressions of both the people ! This was a story when you met her..... what was the story before that.... i mean how you got to know about her, what thought pondered in your mind on hearing that you ought to visit a girl for this purpose, had you met any other girl for the purpose of marriage before meeting her, did it ever came to your mind that this meeting will materialize into a relationship beyond life, on meeting her did you felt something like that this was what you were waiting for somewhere deep within ..... any many more ..... ! We would love to listen in case you wish to share with us ! :)

hahhaaaa .... Di .... aapne sahi kaha ..... par aapne bhi peecha chuda hi liya ..... likh bhi diya aur nahi bhi :) .... aapne bhi na sunaai koi apni baat, hum to taakte hi reh gaye ki lo aaj dii bhi bataayengi apni kahaani ... :p...

Well, I can realise its not that easy to pen down a bundle of so much cosy feelings !

Shaadiyaan to sabki hoti hain di, bas 'already trapped' logo ki daastaan sunana sabne acha laga kare hai :) ..... aakhir ye pata chaale hai akk kaun kaun kyunkar arrest hua ;)

Another extract will answer your about your next question your I will post another extract once this has been digested bu the readers. I do wonder as to why we drift away from the subject of the thread BLS

Coming to Dehra Dun had always been with a feeling of anticipation and excitement, much heightened this time, with anticipation of setting my eyes on my future bride. It was a strange journey as I had already fallen in love with the perceived image of my bride to be; it was ‘Love before Sight’ if some thing like that is possible.

The letter had enclosed within it a small a 2 ¼ x2 ¼ small print with six of the seven sisters including the mother jostling for space. Travelling all the way from Jalandhar to Dehra Dun I was trying desperately to solve the riddle of identifying my prospective bride I had been give no clue in the accompanying letter about her identity; third from left or fourth from right in first row or the second?

I fell in love many times but with the same person. I saw her and was ensnared on the spot, to remain for ever a prisoner of her web. Every one has some vague image in his mind of the one he wants to spend rest of his life with I was no exception and Rosy simply moved in the vague outline completing the picture. But this happened later.

First I had to face and qualify in an interview for which I had neither advance intimation nor time to mentally prepare for.

A very old proclamation which can be heard every now and then ! But it is quite often said that marriages are made in heaven. Is there any logic behind this?

I have seen many a couples embracing the wedlock in a much unanticipated manner; they liked someone else, situations turned them apart and they end up marrying someone who was nowhere in the picture earlier. Many a times a person searches for his or her soul mate but it takes too long for that search to bear fruit, and then all of a sudden when he is tired of this prolonged search, he finds that special one in an unexpected manner !

Is all this a game of fate, or just a play of coincidence, a fluke ? It would be great to listen to people who wish to share any such incident or how they met their life partner or did it came as a surprise for them or it felt pre-destined ?

This is not simple question shwetta ji , if u would have asked this question about 3 months back i'would have said "all bakwaas" {in a typical jat style} but now i can feel the seriousness of this question b'cause i have come across a strange phenomenon (am weak in spellings pardon me please!) called LOVE though it was one sided but this is strange thing , really. later i came to know that she was just playing with me and my mind . (she is actually from japan and works with me ) she provoked me to ask for marriage by her behaviour ( i think so !) we were going out for riding classes (horse riding) we used to remain (spelling problem) together even upto whole day (on weekends), going here and there in malls , on roads , outside bangalore,in bangalore everywhere, we were just meanderers. what was that if not love or attraction ? when i proposed her she kept silent and just behaved normally(better than normal) for 2 weeks , but u know we r jats and i'm a typical one ,i cdn't tolerate more and on a monday evening she just said flatly "no u r not that one" i was just shocked like anything , just got paralysed at the moment , what the hell that was ,was it the same girl whoe's behaviour was now like a stranger's.
point of whole stuff is that if ,if she would have accepted me than i'd have said "yes ,yes marriages r made in heaven" but the fact is just opposite now
i'm not understanding what the hell is this "fate" or heaven , i'm feeling broken down to the soul , to the core of my innerself , where is that god now who made this "fate" by which we met (i don't know actually what i'm writing now but these words r coming frm my heart, broken heart , and mind it broken is just not a word everyone can't understand this )
