Story of 2 men who met in a hospital . Their GF are in coma . Romantic with tinch of humor . End was tragic but in a way happy as well.

Story of con couple of Irving ( Christian Bale )and Sydney ( Amy Adams ) . They got trapped by Richie - FBI ( Bradley Cooper ) and forced to work for him to catch 4 corrupt people . After series of events they turn the table around ......and finally got rid of FBI trap and decided to leave con life . Irving is a married to Rosalyn ( Jennifer Lawrence ) who played a role of dump spouse ......did quite well .
Christian Bale Superb ......look was great ( same guy from Dark Knight , Machine ) . Bradley over ambitious FBI -great again . Many hilarious scenes there is one between Bradley and his boss where his boss always try to tell him a story of Ice Fishing but never let him finish rather finish himself by some assumed ending , Fake Arab by some Puerto Rican , Dumb spouse tend to consider smartest of all ......- movie is all in all delight to watch .

Also Robert Dinero- very small role but good

While its great to hear your views, I think you must find a way not to reveal the plot and other details of the movie. It spoils it for everyone else. Not sure about you, but some people (me included) like the film's plot revealed to them on screen rather than here. Keep the details high level :)

Comedy - Drama . A rich woman has to leave all n move to diff town to live with her sister . Interesting is the climax when her step son found out who was behind all mess. One very famous lesson " Never ever make any decision out of anger " .
Fun to watch , Kate did great a Nervous Break Down Ex Rich Woman

Dallas Buyers Club

Movie is about an Electrician suffering from AIDS , then struggle of acquiring Medicines which are not approved by FDA . Matthew McConaughey SUPERB , amazing act damn too great . Worked so hard to look skinny ( remind me of The Machine - Christian ) . As based on AIDS we expect people dying , crying etc .......no such thing ( apart from one ). Very original ending ( may be coz based on true story ) . So many great scenes like .......Hero reaction on finding out ......fight at club ......wrong notion only Homo can have this disease....argument at mall .....Jennifer try to hang a painting on wall ..... Jennifer ( Doctor ) played fine . Sequence of events is good or quite controlled
Those who like him for his Charming looks - do not watch it - very big disappointment .

Movie is on Sad subject ....though it is not Sad . It is a Delight to Watch the movie
 
For the first time : We Agree to Agree ( though ratio could be 100 : 0 , as I find JL members quite smart so no chance they could not understand it )

Captain Phillips

Plot : Cargo ship under attack by Pirates . Based on real story .
Movie has some ups n downs , how a Captaon struggles around . In 1 hr it would seem movie is finish though it is not . Last scenes of Navy Seal and Negotiaition fine


Few Points : Great plot different exciting . Movie start pretty decent . Somalian pirates getting ready for attack.Yougsters eager to join the Pitates gang.
Many good scenes like in the beginning Pirate giving Captain name Irish , Pirate flaunting about taking 10 mil dollars and captain being sarcastic still you are here ,
.Actor playing Pirates Leader great - confused , acting smart ,eager to go to America ,at points kind ....great . Tom Hanks as usual good .....last scene acted superb ....showing mix of feelings shocked , brave , relief ,
happy , pain due to injuries .Movie goes okay , pretty as per expectations . I missed that typical adrenalin rush of Struggle - Life & Death . So ......

IMO - 3 on 5 ( I may not watch it ever again once is okay )

Though many Movie Review sites has given quite good rating .
 
Gravity

Plot : Very used and typical plot of people going some place . Accident happen then struggle for survival . One would sacrifice his life for other . Only difference is this is Space ( Zero Gravity - when I first read about Space and Zero Gravity - thats what I imagined about astronauts - space ship crashed then Super Gone ....horrible death ) .
Anyways back to movie.

Few points : Good actors obvious . Decent flirt by Clooney . Sad past of Sandra though one thing good atleast no Flash Back of her past . Even during struggle no
sad past stuff . Again I missed that life and death situation , may be little drama over someone put his/ her life in jeopardy in order to save urs . Effects great
whole movie seems in Zero Gravity and all looked so live n real .

IMO - 3 on 5

Same Though many Movie Review sites has given quite good rating .
 
Sexy Beast

You will see from where Anurag Kashyap is coming.

Good soundtrack esp''Peaches on the beaches''

Ray winstone and Ben Kingsley at their best.
 
Good movie, but I felt somewhat unrealistic at some point and felt it was over acting at the end by Tom Hanks, when he was released from pirates.
Funny part was when one crew says "he did not sign up for this" and talks about unions in the middle of crises.
In Real life he has filed a case against the company, that he was sent to pirate infested waters.
Ship comapny have donated the actual life boat to the muesum in FL.

I was to write the same thing, after getting tired of no option but to skip the portion of posts where plot is detailed.......that used to help so far.

@ Rekhaji, There are many sites that describes the plot.So don't take the pain :-). One tip, you can also rate actors rating and performance. That'll be of great use to us.
Sometimes, the movies turn out to be an average/moderately good on box office, but actor make it worth their while with their great performances to make them not to miss. Bollywood, being an exception majority of the times.:livid:

Also, once i see members rating here. I do crosscheck with imdb, rottentomato, metacritic for alignment with critics if they are aligned in the same direction before making an attempt to watch a movie.

Hollywood wale yeh bat chupa gaye ( end mei likha tha based on real story )......
I also liked the dialogue : I m not Al Qaeda ( Bad Publicity for Al Qaeda ......ab Somalia par poore chances hai attack ke )
