saathi,, my heartiest congratulations on coming p wid a gr8 idea....but tell me one thin ,, wot makes u think dat u can do smthin different for the community or ur better than thoose who r serving the communityfor years?

What makes me think I can do it ? - My self belief and my dedication to the cause.

wot u have done /achieved so far? du know the basic problems of an aam aadmi?du know how many villeges and jat gotras r there in haryana ?ru planing to cm back to india or u`ll manage things frm there?.......

Whatever I have achieved so far and done so far has been in my personal and professional life and does not concern anybody else and is not a matter of public discussion.
I very well know the problems of aam aadmi .. I come from a semi-rural family .. half my family is still based in my village and are farmers. I have not been far away from home for so long as to be unaware of the problems back home.
No I dont know exactly how many villages are there in Haryana or how many Jat Gotras ..... but how many people living back home know the precise figure ? and does that cause a hinderance in my work in anyway .. if it does them let me know and i will learn the facts and figures by heart.
At the moment I am not planing to come back home for good .. but I will consider it in future ...

dude if u really want to work for community, drop d idea of an organisation and go join any organisation.. we already have a lot of organisations in every distt. in haryana...where a young boy with lot of new ideas`ll b wlcmd...cm on man take a start frm the root level....and if ur willing to add ur name in organisation`s list then its ok................ bhai thode dimn pehlam I.I.Tians ney bhi ek political party banai thee.......yaar ib laag kuch na bera unka key hooya............ bhai iss suuki fukrapanthi mein kimmey na dharya...agar social work karan ke jee mein sey to JAN JAGRATI join karle.... ya too aapne aadmiyaan ki ey hai.....its a suggestion ,dont take it otherwise..cheers[/QUOTE]

I am not looking to set up a political party and my agenda is not purely social work ... my agenda is to promote Jat Pride and awareness of Jat history, to promote the real Jat Image of hard working, proud, fair, honest, hot-blooded patriots ..... to rise a feeling of pride and conciousness among the Jat masses and to promote a joing Jat , Jatt fornt.
So my agenda is political and social .. politiocal not in terms of power politics but a jat political awareness.

Your suggestion is highly appreciated and if you have any more views on the issue .... you are welcome to keep me posted ...

Dear All, the seeds of the Brave, Defiant, Confidant, Just, Resilient, Heroic, Gallant Jat blood,

I am in the process of setting up a Jat Youth Organisation in India .... primarily dealing with upholding Jat unity .. and especially bringing the Jaat, Jatt and Jatt-Sikh brothers together into a united front ......

The main agendas as I think of now are going to be:

• Jat Unity : above religious lines

• Promoting historical friendly relation and co-existence among Jats and other castes and/or tribes who have co-existed with Jats in our villages and are an integral part of the social-structure of our villages.

• Getting a much more significant youth participation in Jat Mahasabha and clan panchayats, so that our traditional systems are not shunned by our youth.

• A joint Jat voice against age old prejudice prevalent against Jats.

• A Jat youth ground-worker organisation to champion social causes like female infanticide, standard of education in rural areas, promotion of education, female rights, farmer rights, influx of other people in traditional Jat lands causing disturbing demographic changes.

• A youth lobbying organisation to push for community causes and issues.

• Fight for and guard against any injustice against Jats anywhere.

• Promoting the true, hidden, undocumented Jat history among Jats and other communities to arouse pride and to defeat the biased historians.

• Preserving Jat culture and heritage

• Fight for equality and justice

I would like the community elders and the Jat youth to add to or suggest improvements in the above stated agenda.

I would also like you to propose a name for such an organisation, keeping in mind that it is a youth movement.

Nitin Dahiya started a revolution through Jatland and now its time we took the next step.

The aim and intent are good.
But how will you do that ?

I mean wats ur organisational struture?where will be the organisation's office?
From where will you manage funds? staff ?What will be your strategy to achieve all these aims i.e :participation in panchayats, khaps etc.

there are so many points to be sorted out first.

but Hope it ll be a positive and good movement for jats

va bhai chhoro, mazza aa rahya se. tumm ne dekh ke manne apna bachpan yaad aa ryasse! good work, keep it up!!

Most of the social work groups are pretty ineffective when it comes to making difference at macro level... however difference can be made at small scale... such working units already exist at most of the places... Theoretically, panchayat itself can be made into sufficiently efficient social work group for the welfare of a village... NGOs can be vehical of achieving personal goals of people and give good feeling of satisfaction and virtual selflessness to people who volunteer but they provide pretty inefficient ways of making change unless orgn is BIG... There is no such organization for Jats right now... Discussion in forums can generate myopic vision of possibility of social changes but most of the talks are nothing more than rubbish... Just keep that in mind...

Well i am over the biggest challenge i.e. to decide to do it .. the rest will come to place as well, once i get started.

You are talking too much in terms of a management gradauate ... some organisations do not have a set structure and some structures evolve with time .. so it is not a must to have a structure .. what is really needed is to know which direction we are headed ...

Funds .. i will dedicate my own and whatever i can raise .... I am priviledged enough to know and be placed in the upper-middle class of society and I intend on trying to get them to dedicate funds and efforts for this cause.

The last bit is pro-active participation in those forums and being there and try to get more youth to participate.

Mate everything is not so scientific and mechanical as you read in management text-books ....

Does an elephant weigh 10 tons when its born or a great white shark measure 4 meters when it pops out of mother's womb ?

Everything start at zero and so will we ... and if there is enough energy, passion and truth to the cause then it will surely succeed ..

Panchayat itself can be .. but only theoratically due to the power politics at play there ...

And there is nothing called selfless in this world .. everything is driven by self-interest and selfishness .... selfishness is what drives everything living beings do .. it is the very essence of life .. and my selffish interest is the belief and pride i take in my race .... and hopefully my selfish interest is strong enough to drive me with full force ....

many have tried and many have failed ... and i might very well end up in that lot .... but just imagine if only one of us succeeds in this aim .. we will return to our ancient glory of the Gupta & Maurya ages ... this is why we should keep trying

yaa te ghee sa ghall rahya se!

Vah, mere rung de basantiyo! Bhagat Singh ji O!

However, I must clarify that Yuva Jat Sabha at that time collected about 150 kg of blood in 1986. n donated it to the Red Cross Society, saying that its equal to the weight of these two persons.

Jat ne hamesha doosron ke liye khoon aur paseena bahaya hai. Lekin jahan baat na bane vahan Lutth bhi dikhaya hai.

Its not for a Jat to exploit others but reverse is also true. That too inspite of all the facts people dare to exploit Jats.

Best thing is you have a wish to do some thing rest depend upon your determination.

We need more people like you .

Some great saint said ..

Jin dunda tin paiya gahare pani paith ,
Main bori duban dari rahi kinare baith.

All the best for your endavours .
we will always be there when ever you need us.

kyon rehta hai jat haashiye per sada, kyon rahta hai jat seema per?
arre, bhole jat, neel kanth (means kadva bolne wala), ek to bolna jann le aur ekk apna dushman pahchan le. Chhoturam said.

Jatt ka ek hi mazhab tha. "Never Dare to Exploit us as we also do not do" let us be free like happy go lucky. But if you really do then we are an odd mixture of happy go lucky and sanguinary properties!

It is an awesome revolution. But please do not forget a common Jat. The real Jat is even now in village. His sons are indulging in crimes due to the lack of jobs. Land of a Jat can not be stretched like a rubber. All other Jat like or lower communities have found the safe outlets. New Jat youth must be practical to understand that power does not fall from heaven. Gupta and Maurya rule was there because Jat headed the majority. My hints are clear that please do not forget the reservation issue of Jats.

LETS ENLARGE THE VIEWPOINT(With a Request)

Respected kharab Sahab,

Its a great drive like many others in the jat history to unite the JAT COMMUNITY. But as you know we JATS are divided in religions, languages, further gotras, eating habits, drinking habits, rich-poor phenomenon, urban and village drive and many others. There were many attemps made in the past Panchayati system is one of them, which was not only to unite the JATS but the others as well. But the failure was the result! WE must go to analyse the REASONS. The system was good enough but the operaters fail to have the quality and character needed for such a noble cause!

After Analysis WE find the factor needed most for the succeesful completion of such a cause. the factor was not none other but THE CHARACTER itself.
But the question of billions of dollars is that HOW A CHARACTER CAN BE BUILT, DEVELOPED and PRESERVED? Unless and until we have the answer for it, every attempt will be in vain.

SEcondly, what purpose we want to serve by uniting only JATS??? Does it bring unity and harmony in the society or further make us alien in our own religion, country and society? lets unite every HUMAN being rather every living being for the peace, harmony, unity, brotherhood. WE must take resolution to save animal, avoid smoking, drinking, curroption, make pollution free environment, lets make younger respect elders, create encouragement in the poor that they can improve themselves, help them unitedly, lets improve our behaviour and eating habits. WE must take concrete steps to improve us physically, mentally, socially and spiritually at large. THESE MUST BE OUR MOTIVES FOR A SUCCESSFUL ATTEMPT. Your thinking is praiseworthy, but lets have a enlargement in our views.

Anybody interested to achieve the above stated vision contact me at +919416482391 or ashok_palsingh@yahoo.co.in
for full details. We have already started the drive in HAryana, Delhi, western U.P. and Himachal Pradesh. WE BUILT, DEVELOP and PRESERVE the CHARACTERS.

not a big deal !!

What makes me think I can do it ? - My self belief and my dedication to the cause.

i really appriciate ur belief and salute to ur dedication dat ur staying thousands miles far away n have plans to promote jat pride and history

Whatever I have achieved so far and done so far has been in my personal and professional life and does not concern anybody else and is not a matter of public discussion.

bhai ur mistaken sm where..an organisation is answerable to every1, like any one can come and ask about the developments work and can check the funds...at that time u cant say dat its my organisation and my personal life.im not answerable to any1.. i think u need to go through the rules and the whole procedure .....

At the moment I am not planing to come back home for good .. but I will consider it in future ...

good to hear dat u know problems of aam aadmi... and u want to b the part of these problems...du have any place in ur agenda to fight against these problems or u want to preserve jat pride only ..there r many other organisations like jat khaap,,jat samaj kalyaan parishad,, haryana jat maha sabha,,rajasthaan jat maha sabha,, all india jat mahasabha..... all organisation r doin the same job i.e preserving jatism... but how many of them r fighting with evils of jat society ?
so ur agenda is to promote jat pride and awareness of jat history.... u`ll launch a web site n stick history and pics of jat heroes,, bhai it has done many time s before..now wot we need is to take some bold steps ...du have enthu to cm on roads and to protest if smbdy says ill wil against jats ?? like vipin chandra did.........can u take a stand in panchayat dat their decision of giving a name of brother sister to a cople is wrong,,, can u ask where were these panchayats when innocent school girls were raped by teachers ?? is there any bdy to fight against evils or evrbdy`ll boast of jat pride n history?:cool: du know wots goin on with jats of rajasthan ?
today jat youth is unemployed due to education and unmarried due to sex ratio..at this time u`ll convince them to promote pride and history ,, wot a joke...

bhai if u call it a jat REVOLUTION then i think u should clear ur fundas abt revolution. its just another ordinary job ..
i dont want to distract u,,but im not satisfied with paper work only ,there should b sm actions in practical .. atleast smbdy is willin to do smthin...my best wishes to u.. cheers

Your suggestion is highly appreciated and if you have any more views on the issue .... you are welcome to keep me posted ...

Dear all,

Going through the thread, i appreciate what intention Kharab ji has. But my point of contention is that there is no point in having "hazars' of organisation. Let us all work in one umbrella and serve jats. An organisation like JJ is not to meet any self goal and is free from anybodies personal agenda. The more organisation we have, the more harm we bring by reducing the seriousness, duplicating efforts and reinventing the wheel again. JJ is newly commisioned apolitical registered NGO. Few years back i had simillar intentions of starting an NGO and was in the process of getting it registed, but i since dropped the idea after having known about JJ. A link about that is posted below:

http://www.jatland.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5292

In a matter of days the Bank account will eb open and all the bank entries will be posted onto net to have it very transparent. Why i am telling these thing is to clear any misconception people have in their mind about the integrity and dedication of the people involved.

I think it makes sense to join the efforts and firm it rather then dividing it. The membership is kept free and people can email their details to join it.

Many regards,

Dear all,

I would like to draw ur kind attention to JANJAGRITI (www.janjagriti.com. This organisation has recently been registered as NGO. The bank account and FERA regualtions are likely to be completed soon. Originally it was named JATJAGRITI, but than it revealed that the name sounding too casteist when we started working onground in villages and hence the name was changed to what it is now, keeping the originality of the welfare, scholarship etc only for JATS.

The future is looking brighter and most of u must be aware, Karan, A USA educated jat is staying in the pilot village and doing wonders in teaching as jack of all subjets especially Spoken English.

This 15 Oct is a major visit planned and all are welocme to come to BARHANA pilot village. Next target is to start off in various villages with volunteer staying nearby to take up this under the banner of JJ, read JANJAGRITI in subsequent text.

Navin Gulia is overseeing all the areas and i must mention here that he has even refused a job offer in order to devote more time to JJ. A man of principles and i wish u read about him or see him in NDTV or Newspapers, in which he appears time to time. People who know him will vouch for this man of steel and guts.
To cut the long story short. Everything is there , the idea , what is left to be done is implementation. As a Lawyer in the last DJM put it, and let me quote " its is not that jats have come together, now, in past too groups were formed for social work. But many have failed either because the people were never so young like us or they have duplicated their efforts or the implementaion have been poor"
Personnally, my views are that all ideas are good, but they need to be implemented. A platform is already set as JJ, it is for everyone to come up not only with bright idea, but see to it that it sees the light of the day.

Many regards,

Babur crossed Idus with only 12000 horses. He was a drunkard. yet he ruled u (Jats etc.) for at least 4-5 hundred years. ur charan singh had a good character but could not face the parliament just for a few days.

After Analysis WE find the factor needed most for the succeesful completion of such a cause. the factor was not none other but THE CHARACTER itself.

I'll further clarify that wherever I write urs is equally mine also. Character and Profession are two different things. To accomplish a task one requires zeal and second is bit relevent expertise. If one has these two its good for our community or for any profession or task.

Like I quote Einstein was a good smoker. But if due to his, this bad habit one discrads him that he can not be a good scientist then he is wrong. Smoking and research are two different things.

Similarly Chaudhary Charan was motivated that I'll never go for a dynastic rule hence my son should never come in politics, was a wrong idea.

Charan Singh did really have a good political acumen for a village/peasant mass as a whole. He no doubt had better character as it is uasually defined by a common man, as compared to his contemporaries viz. Indira Gandhi, Vajpayee, ..... n so many. Who in politics did/does not go for a dynastic rule?
Right since the beginning of history and till today. Here, he lacked, unnecessarilly due to this character syndrome. In this comtext, perhaps, Devilal/sons was/were better than him.

People of new Jat revolution must understand this syndrome that over characterisation and idealism kills, as we have to think of a common mass, Jat.

My preferred algorithm is “divide and conquer”.

Respected Kharub,

I admire your drive to unite the All Jat Kinships under one flag. In this revolution, are we going to overthrow governments and put in a Jat Rule to solve our community problems?

A Great White Shark was not born 12 feet but grew from 1 inch to 1 foot to 3 feet and so on. My preferred algorithm is “divide and conquer”. Let us all unit to attack a small bite of each big problem. Solve the small piece and move on to the next small piece.

Here are some of the issues I have noticed: (1) demographic imbalance; (2) high crime rate in Jat community of the country sides; (3) inadequacy of education when Jats move from villages to large cities such as Dehli to find better jobs. Etc.

So, let us look at the Demographic Imbalance issue. If we look at the Jatland Matrimonial service, we see that there are 144 boys for 81 girls (as of today). Is this a reflection of the problem, say in Rajastan villages for example? I have heard some official statistics to the tune of 1,000/700 male female ratio in Jat communities.

Now let us unit our brains and tackle this subject: is it an issue? How did it come up? How is it fed, by what culture, by whom? How can we break the circle of such a problem? Should we ban the use of prenatal scanning by Jat parents? Should we elect some relative bloods (say the Latvian, since the male female ratio is 900/1,000 in Riga) and arrange matrimonial agencies?

Look at this single problem and realize how big it already is! Kharub, let us cut this 12 feet Great White Shark in multiple pieces of 1 inch each, so each of us can eat a piece of it!

Best regards.
