A New Jat Revolution

Respected kharab Sahab,

Its a great drive like many others in the jat history to unite the JAT COMMUNITY. But as you know we JATS are divided in religions, languages, further gotras, eating habits, drinking habits, rich-poor phenomenon, urban and village drive and many others. There were many attemps made in the past Panchayati system is one of them, which was not only to unite the JATS but the others as well. But the failure was the result! WE must go to analyse the REASONS. The system was good enough but the operaters fail to have the quality and character needed for such a noble cause!

The reason that jats are divided has largely to do with the unmentioned fact that external forces have always made special effots to ensure Jat divisions, brahmans being the major players as well as Khartis and others ......... Once we realise and recognise this we can identify their tactics and fail them .
It is in their interest to keep Jats fighting Jats .. because if Jats get united they will prevail undoubtedly ....

After Analysis WE find the factor needed most for the succeesful completion of such a cause. the factor was not none other but THE CHARACTER itself.
But the question of billions of dollars is that HOW A CHARACTER CAN BE BUILT, DEVELOPED and PRESERVED? Unless and until we have the answer for it, every attempt will be in vain.

I strongly disagree with you here .. Jat character is known and acclaimed by everyoen who came in touch with them .. even our enemies admire the stranght of Jat character .... so we dont need to develop no character ..... our character is what makes us Jats and is well developed. Every Jat knows what is that makes him/her a Jat and this is character ...

SEcondly, what purpose we want to serve by uniting only JATS??? Does it bring unity and harmony in the society or further make us alien in our own religion, country and society? lets unite every HUMAN being rather every living being for the peace, harmony, unity, brotherhood. WE must take resolution to save animal, avoid smoking, drinking, curroption, make pollution free environment, lets make younger respect elders, create encouragement in the poor that they can improve themselves, help them unitedly, lets improve our behaviour and eating habits. WE must take concrete steps to improve us physically, mentally, socially and spiritually at large. THESE MUST BE OUR MOTIVES FOR A SUCCESSFUL ATTEMPT. Your thinking is praiseworthy, but lets have a enlargement in our views.

Jats are and have always been fair and balanced in their views and treatment of others ... dont forget the service Maharaja Surajmal offered to Marathas when they were dying and thirsty .... even though they had been against him when the war began ... So when Jats get united and prevail it will itself signal a social unity and upliftment ... The harmony and human brotherhood that you are talking about has never been achieved even once in the history of mankind .. noone has even ever come close to doing so.

The only way to achieve total harmony is to wipeout the differences. This means one culture will prevail. and if one culture is to prevail .. i rather it be Jat culture and values ...... The victor always sets a trend and the looser is always a follower ..... so why not be the victor

Once we deal with our problem first i.e Jat Unity only then the question of global unity should be raised ...... how can you achieve global unity when your own people lay divided and exploited .. its great to have gigantic goals but the practical thing is to start at teh bottom and then make your way up .... if you spit in the sky it will fall back on your own face (its just a saying)

I'll further clarify that wherever I write urs is equally mine also. Character and Profession are two different things. To accomplish a task one requires zeal and second is bit relevent expertise. If one has these two its good for our community or for any profession or task.

Like I quote Einstein was a good smoker. But if due to his, this bad habit one discrads him that he can not be a good scientist then he is wrong. Smoking and research are two different things.

Similarly Chaudhary Charan was motivated that I'll never go for a dynastic rule hence my son should never come in politics, was a wrong idea.

Charan Singh did really have a good political acumen for a village/peasant mass as a whole. He no doubt had better character as it is uasually defined by a common man, as compared to his contemporaries viz. Indira Gandhi, Vajpayee, ..... n so many. Who in politics did/does not go for a dynastic rule?
Right since the beginning of history and till today. Here, he lacked, unnecessarilly due to this character syndrome. In this comtext, perhaps, Devilal/sons was/were better than him.

People of new Jat revolution must understand this syndrome that over characterisation and idealism kills, as we have to think of a common mass, Jat.

I totally agree with you ....... i am not working or planning to work for a social cause or a great noble idea ....my mission is plain and simple selfish .. indeed very selfish .. i want my people to be united and proud and counter all those historical foes ....... this is the aim .. and the means do not matter as long as the end goal is achieved

Respected Kharub,

I admire your drive to unite the All Jat Kinships under one flag. In this revolution, are we going to overthrow governments and put in a Jat Rule to solve our community problems?

No ... we will try to present a united front so that the government bows down to us and not exploit our divisions .. but be wary fo our strenght and hence we get who we want in power ad then get done what we want.

A Great White Shark was not born 12 feet but grew from 1 inch to 1 foot to 3 feet and so on. My preferred algorithm is “divide and conquer”. Let us all unit to attack a small bite of each big problem. Solve the small piece and move on to the next small piece.

Divide and conquer always works and history is a testement for that .. so yes i think it is the best approach .. in this way we can utilise whatever resources availaible most effectively and efficiently.

Here are some of the issues I have noticed: (1) demographic imbalance; (2) high crime rate in Jat community of the country sides; (3) inadequacy of education when Jats move from villages to large cities such as Dehli to find better jobs. Etc.

The issues that I give the highest proprity to are rural education and gender imbalance. Schools in our villages are in tatters , teachers play cards all day and not take classes , the professional level of teachers is disgusting , they can't even fill forms themselves let alone teach the new generations. we have to start with rural educational system.

So, let us look at the Demographic Imbalance issue. If we look at the Jatland Matrimonial service, we see that there are 144 boys for 81 girls (as of today). Is this a reflection of the problem, say in Rajastan villages for example? I have heard some official statistics to the tune of 1,000/700 male female ratio in Jat communities.

So true and horrific .. when will we wake up I dont know .. I hope before its too late .. which might be soon ...

Now let us unit our brains and tackle this subject: is it an issue? How did it come up? How is it fed, by what culture, by whom? How can we break the circle of such a problem? Should we ban the use of prenatal scanning by Jat parents? Should we elect some relative bloods (say the Latvian, since the male female ratio is 900/1,000 in Riga) and arrange matrimonial agencies?

I think all able and highly qualified JATS settled abroad should take foreign wives who are physically and socially compatible with Jats ... confident, tall, beautiful, well educated, level headed, forward thinking females of Indo-European stock .... I think genetically and broadly thinking it is better than buying malnourished, physically incompatible, illetrate Bihari and bengali and Orriya wives (i will personally not call a woman bought for money a wife) ....
I know people after reading this might not agre and even be quite angry with my view .. but think of the Jat Quam and then tell me if I am wrong ...... and if anubody has a better plan let me know .. we will profess that in the future .. the only other thing we can do is share wives .....

Look at this single problem and realize how big it already is! Kharub, let us cut this 12 feet Great White Shark in multiple pieces of 1 inch each, so each of us can eat a piece of it!

Best regards.

This is what I think .. but then I am quite young and there is a lot still to be learned and be seen

Kharub bhai,

My views in simple and straight words.

It is a nice idea and great feeling that you have this commitment towards our community. But let me make clear some points. if you think that you can maintain the organization along with your business and your frequent visits all over the world than buddy you are mistaken. The reality is somewaht different. Majority of jats are in India and dare to say residing in villeges. You have to start from the root level i.e villeges but not from Europe if you are really interested to do that. If you think that u can originate a organization and can instruct your fellow members and juniors from abroad, you are mistaken again in this matter. This task need a lot of dedication in every term i.e. financially, personally, professionally and so on.

If you still think that you are going to visit India more or less, than i can figure out that how things are going to work.

Buddy, i am not trying to demoralize you. but facts are facts.

Anyways, i would be the first person to join your organization.

The idea indeed is good and lots of discussion...and we have a basic idea what is the goal. So, I think it would be better to discuss how it can be impliment and what should be the structure of the organisation. We must discuss its functioning and co-ordination issues. The aim is clearly defined and rest of the issues can only be discussed in a better way if we have the basic idea how it is going to operate. We have to bring the masses together and for that we really need to have well organised groups co-ordinating at root level.

Its good Kharub. In fact not only Chaudhary Charan Singh but Ranjit Singh and Nahar Singh also did the same mistake. I'm not very good in history but tried a few glimpses on it.

Ranjit Singh united all Jat (Sikh, Hindu and Muslims) he was last to be conquered by the people jin ke Rajya me Sooraj nahin doobta tha. Soon after his conquest revo;ution of 1857 started.

One English historian wrote about the Anglo-Sikh war that had it been another war like this then there would not have been any need of 1857 revolution.

yaani, ki, khali akele sikhon ne hi Britisher ka India se safaya kar diya hota.

you are very right Nerraj this army had all the Jats (Hindu, Muslim, Sikh)
and Rani Jind (wife of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and was a hindu) untill now Jats considered them to be same and they use to follow all hindu tradition

here is some of the contents of the war:

The Anglo-Sikh Wars of 1845-6 and 1848-9 was a unique military experience for the British in India, who had become accustomed to having to take into account factors such as terrain or climate rather than the military skill of their opponents.
The regular troops of the Army of the Sikh Kingdom of Lahore, trained and armed along European lines, were to present the British with a determined and resourceful foe.

Causes for the outbreak of the first Anglo-Sikh wars have been attributed to the Sikh Army crossing the River Sutlej on 12 September 1845. Whilst this aggressive manoeuvre provided the British with justification to declare war, the causes were however much more complex and tensions had been rising for a number of years.
The causes included:-

  • the anarchy in the Lahore Kingdom following the death of Maharaja Ranjit Singh resulting in a power struggle for domination between the Court at Lahore and the ever powerful and increasingly vocal Army
  • suspicions amongst the Sikh Army arising from recent British military campaigns to include the annexation of Gwalior and Sind in 1841 and the campaign in Afghanistan in 1842
  • the increase in the number of British troops that were being stationed near to the border with the Lahore Kingdom.
Having crossed the River Sutlej at Hariki, the Sikh Army consisting of approximately 50,000 troops, proceeded to split into two and in turn lost the critical element of surprise by failing to attack the border garrisons.

Within six days of the Sikh Army crossing the River Sutlej, the British, under the command of Sir John Gough had begun to march towards the Sikhs from various cantonments at Ludhiana, Ambala and Meerut.

Majority of the Jats including a big part of my family do reside in villages and i never denied this reality. I am planning to start from the root level. I dont think i am mistaken , i am sure it can be done. Technology has made the world a very small place .. phisical location does not matter. The task neds dedication definately and I will give as much as I can.

If you still think that you are going to visit India more or less, than i can figure out that how things are going to work.

Please dont figure them out as yet .. let them happen and thn we will see .. its very easy to sit some where and pass a judgement

Buddy, i am not trying to demoralize you. but facts are facts.

what you have raised are genuine points .. but the conclusons you have made are not facts as it has not happened yet .. so no scenario is in fact a fact ...

Anyways, i would be the first person to join your organization.

I do believe you

Absolutely right Malik Sahab ... and that is the biggest challenge - the structure and the implementation

.......

Ramesh bhai, janjagriti's cause is diffrent from wot kharub bhai is planning to achive, so thers no point in merging these two efforts togther, though u know i am a alltime supporter for jan jagriti.

dear jatlanders also even if it is politically motivated wots wrong in that, we all know we are short of political talent n socially committed politicians in our state / country. why not some of us join the movement and try makin the diffrence, we have likes of tewatia ji n many many other respected n seasoned members to guide, stear n join us in this effort. after all we are not only supposed to write n complain in life, big changes only happen when thers a +ve spirit coupled wid actions.

go ahead kharub bhai, am innn wid ur efforts, though time will tell how much i can contribute and less count who all r wid kharub bhai on this, though i must say its not only his effort its our effort now. hope kharub bhai u dont have any problems wid counting jatlanders innnn

1. kharub
2. myself
3. vikas

Dabas Bhai Sahab,

i do definately neeed young energetic people like you to get there and we will definately get there sooner or later ........ i am in the process of coming up with an organisational blue print .. which i will present here for your scrutiny very shortly .....

Truth of the fact

Sikh remained totally loyal to Brits all along the 1857 rebellion; they were conquered by Brits just eight years ago with the help of Indian soldiers (mainly Hindus and Muslims). It is a sad episode in Sikh history and I condemn all those Indian soldiers too who butchered our sikh brothers and helped Brits take away their independence away.

Sikhs instead of helping or uniting with the rest of India soldiers joined Brits mainly in the pursuit of taking revenge with Hindus and Muslims. Sikh showed their total loyalty in 1857 and helped Brits take control over Red Fort, Delhi. The tortures of the Indian troops (rebels) had to go through in Red Fort goes without saying and could be googled by any body today. Sikhs got Brits patronage for ever from here on

It was in the era of Sohan Singh Bhakna, Kartar Singh Saraba, Bhagat Singh Sandhu and Sher Singh alias Udham Singh alias Mohammad Azad Singh that they joined back....

I have loads of Sikh friends and they are cognizant of these facts too. I love Sikh religion, Gurus, people, culture, language and not to miss…Bhagra but fact is fact.

Although this is a thing of past and I am not here to propagate any hate for Sikh brothers...I think Hindus, Muslims or Sikh all did the same to each other showing their loyalty to Brits in those days so nobody is to be blamed more than the others. That being said, I still believe Sikh support to Brits "during 1857" was a little too much...

P.S. Haryana area went under Punjab after the rebellion as a punishment because Haryanavi people contributed a lot in the first war of independence.

Schhiller bhai, history ka tution aakhir doondh hi liya aapne

And then Sir Chhoturam contributed a lot to this Punjab though he himself was from this rebellious area.

vo to chalo dekhi jayegi but You can contribute a lot for unity of Jat youth over the world. Please do. my best wishes.

quite a informative subject chillar sahab, thx a ton for sharing this valuable info. aaj pata chala ki kyun majority of sikh's hindu hone ke bawjood apne aapko hinduon se alag samajhte hain !!!

Sikh gurus did a lot for Hindustan ( India ) but sikh rulers after Ranjit Singh were just follower of British Empire. Maharaja Duleep Singh ( Son of Ranjit Singh ) played cricket as British citizen against Australia. The famous Duleep Trophy and Ranji Trophy was started in the British rule due to the British follower Maharaja Duleep Singh

People like Maharaja Ranjit Singh and Sardar Bhagat Singh made sikhs proud of them but people like Duleep Singh did otherwise.
