Diesel is already highly subsidised in India. Diesel prices are still high in the west too. I do not see anything in the Ordinance which hurts the rights of farmers. Land can be acquired in public interest anytime. You will be surprised to know that even your house can be acquired in public interest in North America. I think people do not leave any opportunity to criticise the government for nothing.

Diesel subsidy is not a special concession to farmers only but the need of maintenance of Indian economy as a whole in good shape.

As regards, subsidy in diesel, it is an attempt of the government not only to help agriculture sector to reduce production cost of the food grains and other eatables which are used by millions and millions producers and non-producers in the country, but, also to facilitate easy transport of goods for trade and commerce which is equally necessary to keep the transportation costs easy.

The subsidy regime is everywhere applied to give succour to the disadvantage groups including in the developed countries in various sectors.

आपसे देश की अर्थव्यवस्था को लेकर इतनी अपरिपक्व टिप्पणी की उम्मीद नहीं थी| यह देश कि अर्थव्यवस्था है कोई सब्जी मंडी नहीं है जहाँ कोई आढ़ती बैठा हो जो रोजाना के माल के हिसाब से रेट तय करता है| अगर सब्सिडी दी जाएगी तो जाहिर है उसका बोझ तो पड़ेगा ही| डीज़ल और पेट्रोल के रेट से केवल किसान ही प्रभावित नहीं होता बल्कि देश के उद्योग धंधे भी उतने प्रभावित होते है| या आपके हिसाब से कहूँ तो बनिए और ब्राह्मण भी|
अगर सरकार पेट्रोलियम उत्पादों के दाम काम करती है तो उन पर लगने वाला उत्पाद शुल्क भी उसी अनुपात में काम हो जायेगा जिससे सरकार को राजस्व का भारी घाटा उठाना पड़ सकता है|

और अंतराष्ट्रीय बाजार में कच्चे तेल के दामो में आई कमी हमेशा के लिए नहीं है| अच्छी बात है कि सरकार वाहवाही लूटने के लिए डीज़ल के दाम कम नहीं कर रही बल्कि जब फिर से कच्चे तेल के दाम बढ़ेंगे तो सरकार राजस्व वृद्धि द्वारा सब्सिडी के मद में ख़र्च करने में समर्थ होगी|

अजीब बात है जब तेल के दाम बढ़ते है तो हम सरकार को सब्सिडी देने के लिए शोर मचाना शुरू कर देते है| अर्थव्यवस्था में व्यय और राजस्व का संतुलन बनाना बहुत जरूरी है| एक आम नागरिक होने नाते में भी चाहता हूँ की पेट्रोल डीज़ल के दाम आधे हो जाये| पर मेरे चाहने से क्या कुछ हो सकता है| जो सरकार चला रहे है उन्हें तो सबका संतुलन बनाकर चलना है| अगर वो जनभावनाओं का सम्मान नहीं करेंगे तो उन्हें भी इसकी कीमत चुकानी पड़ेगी|

रही बात भूमि अधिग्रहण बिल की तो बेहतर होगा अगर सरकार भूमि अधिग्रहण करते वक्त पूंजीपतियों के हाथ में न खेले हालाँकि यह बिल किसानो विरोधी सिद्ध होता है या नहीं यह तो सरकार की मंशा पर निर्भर करता है|
एक बिल इसकी गारंटी नहीं दे सकता| यह तो समय बताएगा की सरकार इसको लागू करते वक्त किसानो के हितो का कितना ध्यान रखती है|

हम संघर्ष के लिए तैयार रहे जैसा कि हमने पूर्ववर्ती सरकारों के साथ किया है|

I discussed what the bill contains and I did not talk how it can be misused. Mr. Modi is under pressure to deliver quick results as you see the comments of public who have less patience like you and that is why he brought in Ordinance. Ordinances have been brought in the past and hence it is not a new thing. Learn to address people appropriately. My dear brother Fuel or Gas can be up and down everyday like vegetables. Crude oil price was above $100/barrel. Now it’s $48-49. Agree that price can’t be half because transportation, refinery and other charges has been raised. Govt. Saving good money and its good as it can be used in others projects and developments work. I just wanted to say that there are many countries where petrol, diesel and Gas price go up and down every day.


Land Acquisition: -

Are you a farmer? Only farmers can answer it. Example: - Some jat families left villages years before and settle down in city. Do you think their children will give value to land? They just love to make money from it. So this matter belongs to farmer and their primary income source is farming. Hardly matter for me or you.

I dont understand this, he first replied to my post and then I replied back asking him is there anything in the bill/ordinance which is against farmers and how land acquisition should be different to developed country.

He got irritated at me asking him question and deleted his and mine posts. I think he needs some holidays.
