wo hi jayadatar logon ki najron main atey hai aur naam community ka kharaab hota hai.

In Generation of our grand parents and parents number of smokers were more... our generation has significantly lesser and coming generations will have almost nill....... thsi is nothing but change all across and our folks are also not behind..

In my opinion, the current young generation of Delhi and NCR Jats is changed because of high property rates. Those who sold their lands in last 15-20 years... they got huge sum with them and their children could not utilise it properly..... Mahipalpur is one example of it.. Sumit can throw more light on this...

I can sense the storm coming in the form of poem prety soon....coz "it" will call the shayarr to write a poem and describe certain people and the stereotypes on this site

@ kapil...yes the article didnt elaborate of nethin as such...n these stereotypes were also mentioned in just a small box......
aur mein bhi hamesha se del mein hi rahi hoon...maine bhi yahan ke bahut aise jat dekhe hein jinke saath associate karne mein aap aur humare jaise loggon ko sharam aayegi...n wht a coincidence....tht majority maine aise hi dekhe hein....decent nahin.....
n everybody draws on their own exp.....

n abt my second eg......well i know it was just a coincidence abt tht person being stupid n a jat....but somehow i hav come across many such coincidences wit jats only n not any other community.....i wonder y ...

@ nishant.....nahin mere mein woh qualities nahin hein jo iss article mein mentioned hein....but then m not a typical jat either.......i like to call myself refined jat......

the whole point of my argument has been tht koi reason hoga jiski wajah se yeh stereotypes bane....n v shud try to find the reason behind it n then work towards removing these stereotypes....

but very few ppl can take criticism in a constructive way..n least of us....our community....

I read the topic of this thread and thought of writing something here on it but as i went through the posts i was disappointed to see that the thread is anything but the topic. Lots of mudslinging going on and i wonder if some non-jat happens to read it that person will be confirmed of the misconceptions about jats that are generally held.

Anyways, I too read that comment in TOI about the jats. But we should not take it out-of-context and make a hoopla over it. It was a statement of general perceptions about different communities and people that are held by most of the people. It was not meant to be directed against anyone. It was just stated that this is what is thought by people about some communities. We all know that we are percieved in that way. But perceptions do change. Lets make a conscious effort towards this rather than disputing among ourselves.

oh God! they wrote it this way only,n wot do u mean by responsible journalism????, they dont have any grudges against any particular community,n again this is not a new thing.............we r percieved that ways only, better we not blame it on the newspaper or movies.........some traits are hereditary, but if these traits are not4 gud, they can b surely changed.......n its our responsibility to change the perceptions like this n not to make the perceptions ......reality as we r doing here
