Creative Movies of all Times

Mast Movies !!

When you talk about creativity, animated flicks are ones having the best chunk of it.
Countless animated stuff like Cars, Shrek series, Ice Age1/2, Finding Nemo, Madagascar, Spirit, Monsters Inc., A Shark's Tale etc are the ones never to be missed.

While in the other genre :Schindler's List,Motorcycle Diaries,Sholay, Jaane Bhi do yaaro, Parinda, Forrest Gump, O brother where art thou, Illusionist, Munich, Blood Diamond, The Departed, American Pie series, Good Will Hunting, Dead man walking, Pretty woman, Casablanca, Three coins in the fountain, Gone with the wind, Matrix trilogy, Scary Movies series, Malena ................. and so on!! yeh list poore ek din chal sakti hai :)

well if u want creativity then how abt all rajnikanth flicks....:D...
they r very creative especially in the fight scenes...n am dead sure no normal person can think of all those story lines.....;)

This one's to revive the thread

Gutted to found the thread down in the dumps. Have you guys stopped watching the movies or what? Not a mention of The Dark Knight. Heath Ledger you bet reserved his best for the last. Heard, though, one more film is in the post-production stage and would be out in 2009. But the Joker was incredible -- as good as, if not better than, Jack Nicholson. Keep pouring.

Hard on

Rock On! ... yeah, this is the name of Farhan Akhtar's latest flick !!
Movie looks quite promising featuring 4 Rock Star musicians ... dont have much info for the time being but am pretty excited for the very movie; music is rocking, energy is oddling ... sounds rocking to me!! ;);)

But, at the same time am quite annoyed with Mr Farhan as he used my copy right, 'Rock On!' signature without my permission so certainly he breached the copy right law, so am planing to sue him!! ... am quite serious about it! :p;):p

nyways, u just take a snick pic of the movie : http://specials.rediff.com/movies/2008/jun/25video7.htm

The story sounds interesting. But the director's first movie had sunk without a trace -- Aryan. Let's see what does he do now that he has decided to come up in public with his Hard on (Sorry I mean Rock on, but both sound similar).

'A Wednesday' I must say this movie is one of its kind n creativity at its best ... indeed its a class act, certainly deserves 5/5 !

It hits hard on spineless Govt & looser Intelligence agencies ... it also clears many misleading facts & shake common man what he is capable of !

Its a wake up call for the Govt & for the whole country brutly effected with terrorism.

I say every 'Responsible Indian' must watch it & govt should make it 'Tax-Free'. period!

I like "seven samurai", the movie on whose basis "magnificinet seven" was made and sholay was made.
In hindi movies I like satya, and the evergreen sholay. I like the oldies (till the 1970's) where you could watch the movies with your extended family as there was no dirty dialogue in them.

Was almost getting sick of the recent Bollywood crap like Krazzy 4 n U Me blah blah, when “Shaurya” came as a whiff of fresh air. Pretty good movie I would say!

Rahul Bose was excellent and so are others whatever little performances their role demanded. Nice to see Javed Jaafri in a serious role and Kay Kay Menon too did total justice to the role. Manisha Lamba had a limited role, a short one but she was ok.

Cinematography is beautiful, Kashmir being the backdrop for the movie. Direction is ok, could have been better. Music of the movie disappointed me though. But then, how many perfect movies do we have these days.

Keeping aside few lil flaws the movie is pretty good though I heard the storyline is an “inspired” one from a Hollywood flick…but wait a min...are you surprised on that?!!:D

So, in a nutshell, it’s a good movie to go for. I would rate it 7/10.

The French movie Days of glory has been released in India...there is just one show in pvr saket and that too at 9 pm..a must watch movie for movie freaks...so time to get your jumbo -combo;)

'Oye Lucky ... Lucky Oye' !! Yeah, this very movie is so killin' hilarious that it'll surely leave u *LMAO* n *HHKLP* :D:D:D .. and I also highly consider it as Creative Movie cuz' its indeed one of a kind.

Abhay rocks with his typical cute earthy acting with full of innocence, awesome music, Nitu chandra looked fabulously simple n serene, very good cinematography and last but not the least a lot of Jat element in the movie like delhi policeman, one haryanwi ragni, one pure Jat police officer !!

ppl, I highly recommend this movie to all of u, I bet it'll make u 'hans hans ke baawla!!' :D;):p

I give 5/5 to Oye lucky lucky Oye !! :)

Watched on HBO-"Sweet nothing in my ears" The movie was about a family of deaf n dumb and the kid gradually loses his hearing power, where the father wanted to get hearing-aids for him the mother was very apprehensive, thinking if he started to hear he might not like to communicate with her being a deaf.

Hmm....Jit ..eeb tae dekhni padegi....
guess..its the same guy from KKG..(go figure...:D)....loved that movie..beautifully done..deserves a saparate post though....anyone?? :)

Rented "Memento" a while ago (on someone's reco)..A psychological thriller....MUST WATCH guys. Brilliant movie, to say the least. Based on the concept of amnesia, the way the entire story unfolds in black n white and colored events (though in chronological order but told backwards) is simply mindblowing. You may find it lil' confusing in the beginning if you are a first timer like me (with no information on the movie beforehand) but as the story moves on and as you start getting the grasp of it you will be, I bet, totally into it.

Heard Amir's Ghajini (did spell it correct..;)) is a remake of Memento, curious to see that one too.

Watched Yuvraj lately. As expected, Subhash Ghai...a bummer again...:D
The only hope was some music from mastero Rehman but was disappointed!
Only consolation was pretty Austria (Katrina for u guya out there) in the background. Dont waste your money n time, to be precise, if u havnet seen it yet.

The Machinist

one of the most creative movie ever made... Christian Bale is terrific.. (apparently he lost 60 pounds for his role  ).

Each frame in this movie has minute details... at first narrative is kind of confusing... so do NOT quit here. Watch it through!!
It s not a horror movie but creepy at times and dark throughout.

Watch it ppl. :)

2nd best movie i ever seen (Forrest Gump being the best ever so far)

A perfect 10.00/10.00

and two zero after decimal point are NOT without any reason!! :)

I also want to quote a movie here "BUTTERFLY ON A WHEEL". This is a complete movie where you can enjoy action, thrill, drama, suspense and horror also. Not my all time favorite movie but i like it very much.

This movie directed by Mike Barker and Cast is Pierce Brosnan, Maria Bello, Gerard Butler, Emma Karwandy, Claudette Mink and Desiree Zurowski.

All have done a remarkable act in this movie.... :)

Parzania !

Parzania, inspired by true horrifying story of Gujrat Riots 02 and based upon a child named Azhar, a victim of the devastating Gujarati riots of 2002 who is still missing to this day. The parents of the child placed his picture in the end credits of the film in hopes that he is still alive and someone may recognize him.

A brilliantly made movie which depicts the real n true picture of Gujarat Riots, n also clarifies that these riots were a preplanned genocide, an heinous act it was . The movie that shakes you inside out, movie that makes you cry and disturb you like anything.

The Feel you get is something so real, it makes you break in tears, every single character of the movie is so well defined n all of them work exceptionally well. Without a doubt this movie is one of finest n surely a creative one.

Must watch movie that describes the horrible aftermath of Riots !

Leaving Las Vegas !

Leaving Las Vegas, recently watched this movie, absolutely mind-blowing. Don't know but it feels to me it is inspired from Bollywood's epic 'Pyaasa'. Indeed one of the finest by Nicholas Cage.

Reviewers titled the movie as 'The dignity of love and the depths of despair' , 'Powerful Film About Loneliness And Acceptance' ..
